Swarm II Reviews

Recent update resulted in the mic and audio controls to no longer work correctly. Have attempted to restore and reinstall as well as workarounds, all with no resolution. The headset worked fine until the most recent update a few days ago.

Headset would not work. I was forced to update before being able to use it and then ever since this last update if I adjust the volume, it goes all the way to zero no matter what and doesn’t turn back up unless I go back into the Xbox settings while playing a game to adjust it, not acceptable! Now the mic only works when it wants to. I’ll never buy one of your products again waste of $99. Do not recommend.

I’ve been trying for 3 days to sync phone to app and doesn’t want to connect. My phone connects to the headset but apparently it’s not able to do both! Save your money and purchase a better headset, also TB self help doesn’t have info for this headset set seeming as it’s new! A complete waste of money and energy…

The headset itself works really well, but SwarmII itself is bad it constantly gets stuck in a update loop where it says a mandatory update is required but once updated it happens again and does it continuously

These things are kinda junk. You have to have an app on your phone. It tries to connect to other systems in the house even though the usb adapter is plugged into your Xbox. The sound adjusts itself constantly for whatever reason whether you adjust it or not. $84 for a $25 headset. It has “superhuman hearing” setting that sounds like absolute dog doo doo. Don’t even bother using it.

Just the connection isn’t as stable as I’d like it to be between SwarmII and the headset. Sometimes it doesn’t register when I put the volume up or the superhuman hearing on or off. Also, can’t adjust game/volume chat sometimes

I did it on pc and both were present but on mobile there are only presets. Button remaps are not there either. The other problem is that sometimes the voice chat customization is blocked because it says that the 2.4ghz receiver has to be on Xbox mode. When I check the dongle it is switched to the Xbox mode.

I love the headset and the features it has. Wireless makes things so much easier. I love that I can use my phone to see what settings I have rather than trying to guess. I can’t hear any outside noise when I wear them either. The only problem I have is that the sound control is on the back and when I sit back it changes the sound and makes a beeping sound. Otherwise, all around good headphones for gaming.

Maybe it’s the headset I bought. I have the 600 turtle beaches. It has Problems connecting to my headset in game. Sometimes I can’t turn game chat down I love the idea of SwarmII super cool when it works! Give SwarmII some time

The only thing I don’t like is the fact I gotta go to SwarmII to use my earphones——meaning to use my microphone I gotta go on SwarmII to hit u mute each time I wanna play my game online. Other than that I would give it a 5 star.

Only reason star gets removed is I have to skip welcome/get started screen every time. Also s/n isnt listed in app and not on device visibly only on the box it came in. If they update app 5 stars automatically and will update review!!

SwarmII is amazing, very easy to use and connect with your device. You can do everything from adjusting the sound to your headphones to checking your battery life to your headphones. You need this update for updates. Update is smooth highly recommended.

Easy set up and quick connection and simple user interface love SwarmII for my headset

Since Turtle Beach does not have software for macOS that supports the Stealth 600 Gen 3, I installed this “iPad” app on my Mac and the translation layer worked flawlessly. Even recognized the USB dongle plugged into my Mac and allowed me to update the firmware on the headset.

Great product, SO FAR! The headset don’t feel cheaply made. This was my last chance to give turtle beach a shot

Amazing in game sound. Top quality product. SwarmII is nice to have the ability to tune headset and not take them off your head.

It fixed my head set I thought they were broke but they weren’t great app

My headset volume is low and it doesn’t go up at all, ever since I updated SwarmII with the headset I’ve had to manually raise up the volume for my headset on my controller but the moment I touch the wheel it goes back to low volume

Really easy to use and fast connection to headset
