I am deleting KalosTV . With everything on the market this is WAY to expensive. I did the $10 load to try things out and it only took me through about 1/4 of the story. That is completely crazy. I would be happy to pay $5-10 for a whole story. Just like a book or a movie, but not 1/4 of a story or movie that is insane. If you want more users you need to make it affordable for people to actually use. It’s a great idea. Just unreasonably expensive.

The stories are ok but way too expensive to keep on watching I deleted KalosTV because of this and the coins aren’t even enough to get other episodes and who wants to continue watching adds it gets boring daily episodes not 1 episode should open so we can continue to watch so I will not be downloading KalosTV again until they change a lot of things about it and offer more and get better stories and I will not waste my time or my friends time by telling them about KalosTV until I see some extraordinary changes from the developers

I saw it on TikTok, where one story were posted without cuts as an ad. I downloaded it only to find that you get 3 episodes free in the story and it was about 5 of the episodes posted. Once I finally got to parts I hadn’t seen before the price was 60pts when they only allow 10 ads for points a day. Otherwise it’s top up and they’re not worth it. Don’t download! Audible is cheaper and it’s practically the same quality. 🙄

The stories are interesting but it cost coins to watch a few minutes of the episode. I paid $20 and only made it through half the show. Which took $45 minutes! I could have watched many seasons of stuff like this on streaming platforms charging a flat rate instead of wasting money to finish a story line

I gave two stars bc the shows are good BUT, I spent $25 n it gave me 1750 coins plus a bonus of 500 but it still was not enough to cover the show. Signing a subscription with name brand networks gets u more. This is robbery disguised and plainly just taking advantage. Instead of being greedy u could actually make money with bringing the prices down n have steady income. I’m sure there is ppl who pay once n never come back n feel the same as I do. If u would’ve been reasonable i definitely would’ve continued to purchase when I ran out but not to finish a show it a rip off

Genuinely the worst app I’ve ever used. For the first day or two, KalosTV ran smoothly and I was able to watch 10 ads for 10 free episodes every day. And as many other reviews have stated, KalosTV completely gets rid of your option to do that and forces you to watch 10 minutes or so of ads to unlock a 1 MINUTE episode. This isn’t the only problem I had. After I watched the ads, half of my coins that I got rewarded with completely disappeared even though I hadn’t unlocked anything. KalosTV tries to force you to buy extremely expensive packages/subscriptions to unlock less than 1 minute episodes. The only thing KalosTV cares about is the money even though they’re already making it from ads. I DO NOT recommend KalosTV to ANYONE.

Paid $7 for the first “top up” and got through about 15 minutes worth of episodes. So bought the monthly $30 subscription. This got me about one entire show (90ish minutes). Have been watching the adds that are nearly 2 minutes each to get 10 coins. Every episode of a show is just over 1 minute and costs 30-60 coins (no idea how they decide what an ep is worth). Today I spent 20 minutes watching ten ads in hopes of seeing two episodes today. Again that’s 20 minutes of ads for about 2 minutes of watching. Then opened my show which had been backed up about 5 episodes from where I left off. I scrolled to my current episode and it took all of my coins and wanted me to pay to see the current episode. Most of these shows can be found on YT or elsewhere but I liked the clarity and correct translations to English KalosTV provided. But unless they come up with a legitimate monthly subscription, it’s not worth it. Don’t get sucked in!

I subscribed thinking that I was going to able to watch the shows but it turns out that after you finish using your coins you still have to buy more coins and honestly it’s so expensive that it’s not worth it getting KalosTV .

Got rid of a similar app, because this one would let you watch 10 free episodes a day if you watch the ads versus five on the other, but once you get to a certain amount of episodes, you can only watch 1-2 a day for free while watching ads. I prefer the other app, because it doesn’t limit the episodes you can watch for free as long you watch the ads. I’ll be deleting KalosTV after I finish the current drama I’m watching and one other.

$100 to watch a movie?! And I complain about spending $15 to go to a theater. The stories/movie/clips water you want to call it are great, actually is excellent for a short story app but the price is insane! KalosTV crashes when you try to watch ads to get coins. I spent $50 already and am only on chapter 19 or 50. Ouch. Make it more reasonable for people! Put ads between the chapters? Charge the advertising companies more and let us watch more ads for free chapters? There has got to be a way. I’m deleting because of cost. For $33 a month my entire family can watch as money EQUALLY entertaining and budget invested movies as I want on Netflix.

I downloaded KalosTV after being intrigued by one of the stories. Unfortunately checking in and watching 10 adds, I’m only able to watch one episode per day because the number of coins needed. Sorry to say that I’ll slowly finish this story and then delete KalosTV . I’ll stick with ReelShort. I understand that KalosTV needs money to add more content but at least with ReelShort I get more. Sometimes I buy coins and packages and sometimes I don’t but KalosTV is too pricey for me. Too bad because I like the story so far.

It has good stories and good actors but it’s really expensive. You can watch 10 ads to get 10 coins each but when you get farther in the story it’s like 85 coins per one minute episode, so I can only watch one episode per day. They used to have it where you could watch ads to get 10 episodes free per day but it’s not there anymore. Overall, I’m gonna slowly finish this story I’m on then delete bc it’s annoying only getting to watch a single one minute episode a day unless you wanna pay a bunch of money to get extra coins. Other short story apps at least give you 5-10 per day but this one took the ad for free episodes option out.

The episodes are only a couple minutes and the amount of coins it takes go up each episode. You can earn up to 100 coins every day to by watching 10 ads which you get 10 coins per ad. You spend more time watching ads then you do the episode.

A suggestion to the people who made KalosTV if you gave so many free episodes every day increased the amount of coins you get per add watched and gave more coin in the bundles you would greatly increase your viewers as well as encouraging more people to spend. Keep it as is as KalosTV will die off fast.

For the price KalosTV is asking for, it is definitely not worth it for minute episodes. The short dramas are good, but not worth the price that you would pay Netflix or Disney+.
I recommend either lowering the prices or bringing in more shows with longer episodes, especially since majority of apps with movies and shows already have translated subtitles for a way cheaper price, whereas KalosTV does not have that luxury. I was enjoying the episode and had assumed with would be cheaper than Netflix, went to pay and realized the price is much more. Good luck on revenue.

Also the only episode I could find that had English translation is the one that was advertised to me, nothing else.

The stories are good but it is too expensive, more expensive than any streaming app. I have already used 4 shorts stories apps and this is the most expensive so far, they don't give you free episodes daily, only bonuses, the bonuses per day are only 10 and for watching ads also 10. When an episode can cost you 40-80 bonuses, which means that you will only be able to watch 1, 2, or maybe 3 episodes a day for free, episodes that only last approximately 1 minute, otherwise you will have to pay a lot. Other apps, the episodes are just as expensive but they give you more bonuses and free episodes daily. I am disappointed. Because I was enjoying Found by the Lycan King.

The stories are good but just the option that you do not need to pay is not an option. I don’t mind watch couples ads, but there were very less ads you can watch and continue to the stories. Just a waste a time. I watched some English ones were good, at least you can watch ads and continue. Here have less options. Just waste a time everyday to check in to watch. Bad app.

At first, I was liking KalosTV, but after so many episodes they no longer give you the option to watch ads in order to watch the next episode. Instead, they expect you to pay ridiculous prices in order to access coins, which you will go through very quickly. KalosTV is ridiculous. The stories may be good, but I’m not going to pay to watch short stories when I can go to Netflix or Disney+ and watch a full movie for less.

OK, I enjoyed KalosTV. I enjoyed the little short stories however recently when I put in for a monthly script, it never activated so it kept asking me to top up however I show that the payment for this subscription has gone through and that it’s not gonna expire until later this month. I submitted the feedback and showed a copy of the receipt and they indicate to me that they have no record of it however my credit card and the subscription shows it shows that it is still valid, so at this point I’m done because I don’t like being cheated
so from my experience I would say buy your beware
What aggravates me that I upgraded and had a weekly subscription that wasn’t going to end until the end of June and it didn’t honor that one either
so download at your own risk

Like a lot of other lower stared reviews, I have the same opinion. It’s too expensive to pay for the amount of content you get. My major problem is that I watched ten adds every day to unlock a story that they are advertising on TikTok only to not to be able to complete it. There are 5 episodes of 100 left and I am unable to access them unless I pay for it. I fell I have given enough in add revenue to have earned the last 5 freakin episodes of the show. What a monumental waste of time.

For a weekly subscription, I can’t even watch one full show without running out of coins. The coin value is too high for an episode and is not consistent. The drama selection is great. But need better plans. You seriously need to spend $100 just to watch one drama that is probably 3-4 hours long max.

First let me start of by saying, Kalos has some great short story content. However the prices are ridiculous!

There show be no way that it paying for a weekly or monthly subscription and I can’t even finish one movie. These subscription to show all you can watch! Why is is that I pay for a weekly and still have to pay for more coins to finish a movie. It’s unfair and quite frankly adjacent to robbing your customer base. This needs to be fixed!

I get that these apps need to make their $$ for these stories, but you start off thinking each episode is 30-50 coins which is reasonable, then after a few short episodes, all of a sudden you need to pay AGAIN. Then you see that one episode was 36 coins but the next episode is 120. Seriously?! I feel totally robbed and won’t be buying anymore. It got 2 stars coz I liked the stories but not worth the money!

So KalosTV forced me to watch episodes I already watched for free then took my coins for them 2 very expensive episodes. It had done this 3 days in a row I barely saved them and they took them. I may just uninstall. Not very happy. I barely got to watch anything and am already pretty unhappy.

I don’t like the way the female characters are portrayed in majority of the stories as weaklings and the male characters overly dominate and abusive, your stories excuses sexually assaults, threats, bullying and assault and even drugging characters as a story line. It’s disgusting and a dangerous choice to channel and show case constantly on your stories.

I only gave KalosTV 3 stars because it tries to force you to use your credit card. I tried to use ApplePay which I have cash on my account but it keeps trying to run payment on my credit card even after I changed my payment method. I don’t like that at all.

They have good stories for you to access but be warned if you are a subscriber they will try to take the money early and if you don’t have it they stop you from access you extra coins even though the due date for your subscription to be paid has not come up yet that is what I am currently going through right now this is why I only gave three stars I know when my subscription is due and the money will be there when It is but I’m strongly considering unsubscribing because now I feel like I’m just being ripped off because do you just change the due date to whenever you want to charge someone

Better actors, better and longer storylines, and better props than what I’ve seen in other apps I use to watch dramas. The only thing I have an issue with is you don’t have categories of dramas to watch. I’m obsessed with the time traveling ones and ones that are old fashioned with empresses but unless I know an exact title to search I can’t discover anything and I’ll have to wait for a new ad to show up or for it to be in the previews before I discover anything new. This is why I typically don’t use KalosTV I use Drama Box because their subscription unlocks all short stories and here id still have to keep paying to watch multiple stories even after paying for a weekly or monthly subscription which makes this realllyyyy not worth it regardless. Like what sense does it make to make an app producing stories and not have categories to search?

Yes, it’s a fun app. Yes, the great stories some of them. But who is writing about the stories itself who’s being truly honest about the stories some of these stories are disturbing on so many levels. You have rich men, powerful men, who have very small, meek, weak wives who are afraid to stand up to them, then you have manipulative. Deceitful women who charm these stupid men make them believe their lies, and then they choose to believe the lies of the other woman to torture their own wives They don’t divorce them they forced them to stay at home while they love on the other woman, and believe her toxic ways they don’t want them accuse them of everything and the poor woman can escape no matter what she does. This is an honest review take it how you see it

Why is there two same shows with different names? I started watching on them I can watch it no more because it won’t get me ads then the other one started giving ads so I ofto start over. Flash marriage. Nice to meet you same movies. I enjoy this site nevertheless

Stories in general are interesting and I’m glad that rewards can be earned, but I wish the ads would actually load bc It takes forever to watch 1 story, or wish single stories could be purchased not just episodes bc that’s super expensive

The only one so far that I’m enjoying. Need more like Kalos TV. The storyline is perfectly put together and finally have a couple who communicate with each other. True he shouldn’t hide his real identity but he knows she has issues with their different backgrounds and he doesn’t want to lose her.

First time purchasing others let you watch ads for more episodes or come back next day for more episodes. I wish I could see more after $7 payment I watch all kinds of shows for $7 with Netflix this should get popular soon so I could binge whole episodes so good!

The free episodes I did watch was good but, however, only a fool would pay those prices to continue watching minute episodes. I would suggest lowing your prices or KalosTV will only get so far!

I love the stories. This is a great app. However I have a problem with one of the ads. It’s a Home Depot ad about kwik locks. There is no way to exit out of this ad. It just keeps going through the same thing. I waited for at least 5 minutes and the ad never stopped. The only way to get out of the ad is to cut the phone off and then cut it back on again. This is very frustrating when you have to do this. If there is a way to fix this please do so. Thank you.

KalosTV is alright, not the best but not the worst either. Their ads duration are quite long, approximately 100 seconds, if not, more. Additionally, their price point is way too expensive in my opinion; but like stated in the title of this review, KalosTV is mediocre. Their english translation are accurate for the most part, but some aren’t on point, so I’m assuming they use google translate to translate (I understand Mandarin). Don’t have much to say, which is why I’m leaving a 4 star.

The only thing I don’t like is the pricing and how you have to do so much to earn coins to watch them. If you sell a subscription of like 20 a month or maybe 30. It may bring in more people. But other than that the content is amazing.

I love KalosTV! So many stories to choose from. Clear translations, picture and sound. Only negative is that the episodes cost a lot. One episode can cost 70. Watching an entire series can cost over $50 very quickly without you realizing you spent so much.

I have always downloaded these apps for the short films and they have always been trouble to navigate as well as to get points to watch episodes but so far KalosTV has it gives you some random points for the day plus it allows you to watch videos of game points. It also allows you to top off your credit which is really good.

I love KalosTV I have found several stories that I have watched and in looking at other that I am interested in. The issue I have is the price of coins per each slide I have to say that is outrageously high. I have found others that coin per slide is a lot reasonable so I hope Kalos will take this review seriously and lower the price

I wish they had better Daily Top Off amounts like you can pay for a week instead of paying 15 dollars to only get you thru 15 videos max. I don’t think it’s fair but I do like the episodes. ☺️

These stories are crazy and unrealistic and half the time I’m yelling at received but i love them. The only thing that would make KalosTV better would be the ability to leave comments after each episode. Let us talk smack about the heroes as a group. It would make it more engaging
