The Ugreen NAS has a lot of potential, but it’s held back by serious performance and usability issues. Upload speeds are extremely slow even when connected via Ethernet with a 2 Gbps internet connection and the device frequently disconnects, making file transfers frustrating and unreliable.

The companion app is also very limited. You can’t upload entire folders through UGREENNAS and are forced to use a web browser to upload multiple files, which is inconvenient. I’ve been trying to upload files for over three weeks with little success.

In addition, the user interface needs a major overhaul. It’s cluttered, unintuitive, and difficult to navigate. Sharing files is also unnecessarily complicated, as each recipient has to download UGREENNAS and create an account instead of simply receiving a shareable link.

Unless there’s a significant update to address these issues, a recall or replacement program should be considered. This product just isn’t ready for prime time.

When you try to open a .doc o .pdf file on UGREENNAS doesn’t work and required you to download the file, after you download the file to your mobile, it never shows up the file downloaded in your iPhone. So, it never download the file to your phone.

Overall UGREENNAS is pretty good but It feels like a pre-released product. The English version needs more localization because there are clunky translations and some pages are completely in Chinese. I would also like UGREENNAS to support iPhone to NAS file syncing in addition to photos.

One of the core features of this application should be integration with the Files App so it enables seamless storage integration with other applications and iOS, iPadOS, etc. Currently the only option is to use the Share option from a given app. Thank you.

Very nice app that lets you control a lot of functionality without the need for 10 different apps (like Synology, qnap and Asustor). Ugos is still missing a lot of features compared to the competition, and 10gbe performance is still mediocre at best. hoping software updates continue to improve and missing functionality

Just got my ugreen Nas, excited to be here at the beginning and watch UGREENNAS and the ugreen Nas ecosystem improve.

UGREENNAS currently is quite crude, a bit hard to use (for a new NAS user like me), and only partially translated (as this store page suggests)

Will adjust review as time goes on and I gain experience with my NAS and ugreen improves UGREENNAS .

Please make a Photos and Videos Viewer app for Apple TV.
On iPad app, I have difficulties with swiping left or right when navigating to the next photo. Please fix this two problems.

Please make the thumbnails larger. Also, for every folder, it would be better to let user decide how to arrange the files individually.

UGREENNAS is improving month to month! I would love for the TvOS version of UGREENNAS to get HDR/DolbyVision support ASAP!

The os os great. Don't forget that a lot of reviews you see here are from advanced users. If you look at the fb page for this- they will all jump at you and insult you for not knowing a nas hard drive. If you are a new user- the os is actually wonderful. Some minor bugs but the patches are coming every day. It is actually great and intuitive. You won't regret owning this.

This is a NAS there is some complexity to it. It’s not a beginners product. It is also NEW on the market. You have to give this company some slack because yeah there is some stuff in Chinese because they’re Chinese but it’s fine. It is a quality product.

Super happy with the amount of development UGREENNAS has had over the last year and even docker adoption.

Giving it a 5 star for the EASE of use. Just a simple backup. Also great for learning some home lab stuff like dockers containers has been great

Great hardware and software combination! Not the first NAS I’ve owned but definitely the first I’m going to be recommending to my friends. The only request I have is making a dark mode theme
