Improvement over previous app we have used since it has faster conversions and is more dependable on actually finishing the conversion.
It would be nice if the video just watched could be replayed instead of having to convert again.

There has been a push in the market recently to put PLEX on everything. I don’t use PLEX for one simple reason- you can’t search by folder, it just puts all of your media from all locations and shares into an alphabetical list. If you are like me and would rather see the folder hierarchy of your shares then look no further. Honestly it’s so good I’d pay for it. Thank you Nero!!!

I’ve been trying for two days to find a way to play my photos and videos on the tv for my visiting family...totally frustrated with no success until I found DLNAPlayer!! Worked perfectly first try!! I have iPhone iOS 11 to LG tv with web OS. Thank you so much!!

Unlike so many of the other DLNA client options in DLNAPlayer Store, this one just works with no extra setup or fiddling at all. That might not seem like much, but it’s actually not so common. Well done!

Excellent app....only downside Is the converting of the videos to be streamed quality Could be better, I would pay for that option.

Both my TV and phone are connected to the same network. In one part of DLNAPlayer it shows DLNAPlayer is connected to this network but when DLNAPlayer try’s to play my videos it shows it is connected to another network in my home that my TV can’t connect to therefore I can’t play my videos. I’m so disappointed!

Hooks up to LG tv with webOS easily. Video conversion is a little slow but this is a far better app than the one LG provides.

I found it handy at first look, but soon I understood it cannot send movies (no matter if they are HD, FULL HD or 4k) to my TV. It just says it is converting the movie and nothing occurs. I am running IOS 11.2.5 on iphone SE and my TV is SONY X70E. I would be happy if I can play my movies on it.

The good....it works, it is free.
The bad....if you use the ios album feature, navigation thru a long list of albums is time consuming and tedious.

If you have a huge 16 TB disk full of pictures with 7MB each picture, DLNAPlayer will not be able to open the photos. Only useful for phone snapshots.

It's great app compared to other free apps. The only drawback is that it tries to convert the videos of the iPhone before sending to the TV, which takes long time. Some other apps have the same problem, but some don't have.

I used to be able to stream to my tv. In the recent updates. It just says in converting and not happen. It always happens when u fix one another thing breaks

I have an IPhone 7 and a Hisense Smart TV (model: 40H5B purchased in 2016).
DLNAPlayer has allowed me to cast/mirror from my iPhone to my particular TV. Im giving 4 stars because it works to a degree and it’s free. I went through 10 apps before this one. It did take me some time to figure it out, about 20mins because my TV lacked instructions. I have yet to stream video but if it works I’ll come back and give it 5stars because I am done trying to figure out any other apps. Give this application a try if you haven’t yet found an app that works. I don’t normally bother with reviews but I was frustrated- i hope this helps anyone looking for this capability.
