Once you enter or scan information if it’s not correct there is no way to correct it. You will forever be labeled a dummy and have to constantly check in at the airport or face issues when you reach your destination and the information doesn’t match. Moreover no one in the airline can say how to fix it.
this app apps, the old one and the new one, are really bad. I travel a lot and sometimes have some problems with apps from other airlines, but they work well or very well most of the time. Aeromexico’s always gives me trouble, and most of the time I can’t do what I’m trying to do (for instance check in).
They charge you extra $1600 MX for checking in your carry-on unexpectedly. And charge you for a ticket months in advance to tell you minutes before the flight that there are “no seats available.” My friends had to pay an additional $500 for a ticket they had already bought! Te cobran extra $1,600 MX por documentar tu equipaje. Y luego te dicen minutos antes de tu vuelo que no tienen asientos cuando bien que se cobraron hace meses. A mis amigos les cobraron $500 por un boleto que ya habían comprado!
I have been trying to log on and have had no success. Deleted application, installed it again and still nothing. Now the application is telling me to wait 15 minutes and try again.
Once I’m able to use Aeroméxico I will give an updated review.
Terrible in comparison to all other airlines. If you book on Aeroméxico or website you still need to add your flight to your profile. Why? New update doesn’t allow you to book in app. You need to open web page. Sorry, but for a premium airline you can do much better
Aeroméxico showed the wrong boarding time since they rebooked me on a new flight from my original. I missed my flight and they only give me the option to buy a new flight at the airport. I have never dealt with such airline stress from an app nor has it cost me $600 before. I am so angry. Maybe don’t fly this airline ever.
One of the objectives of an app like this is to be able to book flights. When you want to it sends you to their website. Old app was better.
I downloaded Aeroméxico to manage an upcoming flight. I tried to upgrade my seats for the family and tried to pay… kept getting errors… but they charged my card 4x. Then they didn’t save the seat assignment and actually canceled two of them… app is way to buggy
Please adjust your requirements for minimum characters in last name. Currently it’s set at 3 characters but some people have last names with 1 or 2 characters. Thank you.
Better than previous one. One thing I think that it’s a bug not had been solved though, is that KTN for TSA Precheck cannot be entered as the field only accepts numbers, not alphanumeric.
The new app is just like the old one but with a better ux/ui.
The backend is still awful, you get the same errors that you had on the previous app. (Can't change your loyalty number to another airline, can't have spaces in the emergency contact name it logs you out for no reason etc)
It baffles me that a big airline can't figure out how to develop an app. While the rest if the world offer seemless experiences aeromexico struggles to provide very basic functionality to it's travelers. After traveling aeromexico for over 5 years I'm not surprised at all...
Aeroméxico works very well; except that it has an issue regarding platinum members / upgrades. I travel every month in the same route and have noticed I never get an upgrade if I obtain my boarding pass via this new app, and I always get it when using the old app or website. I have asked friends and they have noticed the same. Hope this can be fixed soon
Everything is better
This is a really good app. You can see the improvements from the first one to this one. I can’t wait to see when all the features will be enabled.

The previous version was a dumpster fire. It looks like they actually hired some of México’s outstanding developers to build a decent app. Finally!
