Addicting

This is a fun mashup of Wordscapes and solitaire! It has enough extra tile types to keep it interesting at each level and they are intuitive to use. The extras such as locations and lost words add to the experience without being obtrusive. Like Wordscapes, the backgrounds are lovely.

Library of Lost Words adds a fun element

If you start this one, make sure to at least get far enough to get to the ‘Library of Lost Words’.

I’ve replayed a few levels just so I can finish out a book or two!

By

Fun game

As a fan of word puzzles and solitaire, I really enjoy Wordscapes Solitaire. The combination of these two games is both fun and relaxing.

By

Relaxing~

This is a good game to unwind to at the end of the day. It’s fun to try to make long words too.

By

No option to remove ads permanently

This game started out fun, but the constant barrage of ads across the top of the screen and in-between levels is annoying. Please include an option to delete all ads permanently or I will delete this game.

By

Funnest game

…to keep you company while you sit on the couch, snack, and watch Olympics.

By

Banner ads at the top ruin it

I’m a big fan of Wordscapes so I tried this one. It has the potential to be fun but the never ending flashing ads at the top gave me a headache. I would be willing to pay for an ad-free version but couldn’t find it. It will be deleted

By

OMG

Doesn’t have ads! Keep it that way!

By

The Ads are annoying

Like the game but the ads will keep me from playing.

By

Fantastic Word Game!!!

Love this game! I just can’t stop playing!

By

I love this game!

This is so much fun! I love the mechanics and the owl mascot!

By

Too many ads

It is not much fun to play this because of too many ads. And they keep wanting you to make a purchase.

By

So fun!

This game is awesome!

By

Ads

The ads make this unplayable. To bad because it is a fun game.

By

Do something about the ads!

You advertise games without do and after every play there is an ad. It’s so distracting g that I’ve lost interest in playing. Very disappointing.

By

Finally - Something different

Just started playing, but I like it so far. It is different than other word games. When I saw the ad for this game at first I thought the ad would probably not match up to the game. But it did. Also, so many word games have you drawing lines from random letters to create words and I find those boring. With the letters hidden underneath like cards it adds a little challenge. The game moves fast and smooth. No hiccups and so far, not too many ads. I hope it stays that way. So many games have started putting ads after a round, at the beginning and ending of a game and even right after you start. I have deleted so many of these games for too many ads. I do wish I could play the game horizontally.

By

A phenomenal game!!

I cannot stop playing this. The moment to moment gameplay makes me feel so smart, and it’s so much fun to work with the letters available to make big words. The Library of Lost Words gives it that special replay value, and the levels are so well balanced that it’s challenging but just fair enough to work on getting 3 stars on every level! I absolutely love this game!

By

Fun game. Lots of ads.

I like this game a lot. Creating words and seeing how many letters I can use to make the longest word possible is great. I love chasing the “lost” words also.
Biggest downer is there is an ad after every turn. I don’t mind some ads. But after every single turn is annoying. Since there is no ad removable option I am not sure how long I will stay interested in playing if all I am doing is watching ad after ad.

By

Nightshift nurse

Great game to keep me sharp at night when patients are sleeping but I need to stay ready for anything! Addictive, smart, and fun friendly competition. All the gals on my unit are into it! If you’re a nightshifter that is tired of popping bubbles and crushing candy, check this game out for sure!

By

Wow!

This is a fun game but I wish there was a feature where you connect to Facebook so that you can save your progress and continue where you left off on any device.

By

Great way to work the brain!

Such a fun way to get thinking & use that part of my brain. I have been playing this on a daily basis and have noticed the usage of my vocabulary increasing. 🙌🏾👍🏽👏🏽

By

LOOOOOVE THIS GAME!!!

I have everyone at home hooked on this game!!! We love it so much, good exercise for the brain!!! Please add more levels … I don’t want this game to end!!!! Thank you very much for creating this game, been looking for a game like this for a long time!!!

By

Fun decision making challenge

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE GIVE US PAID PERMANENT AD REMOVAL! I’LL PAY!!!

Love this game, the decision making for what to spell and how that will effect the board and future word options is great.

By

Fun! Owls! Libraries!

Great mashup of solitaire and word games! I’m currently trying to hunt down all of the Lost Words…like catching verbal Pokémon, I gotta find em all!

By

Fun

This is the most fun word game I’ve played. I can’t stop playing it.

By

A great game ruined by ads!

I would have given this game a five star rating but the ads are just too much. There is no option to permanently remove the ads. If they ever add the option to remove the ads, I will change my rating.

By

Fun game but constant ads

The gameplay is really fun, assembling words from letter boards. Lots of little twists to keep it interesting. The ads are constant although some are fairly short but many have no volume toggle and some are quite loud! Saw there was an update today adding the pay for no ads feature. Installed it and found PF wants a whopping $9.99 a month for no ads! 😳 Not sure if everyone agreed on this reach deep into our pockets cuz it shows $9.99 for 30 days of no ads, and also says it's a one-time charge. The game is so fun I might have considered it as a one-time charge but monthly?! Not a chance.

By

Review and Request

The request first: Please give us a way to remove ads! This would be a 5-star review if only I could pay not to get constant ads between levels. The game is well-worth $5 or $6.

The game is a lot of fun with interesting mechanics. Requires more thought than most of the word games on WordscapesSolitaire, which I like. I like finding the “hidden” words and filling the books in my library. In fact, I like everything about the game except for the inability to remove ads.

By

Great game but no option for no ads

Great game i could play it non stop, if there was an option to pay for no ads. When i first started playing i got an in-game notification to pay for no ads but i couldn’t select anything to bring me to that purchase and there’s nothing in the in-game store for no ads. which is very disappointing because i do really like this game but the constant ads are annoying and makes me not want to play for long.

By

Option To Remove Ads Requested (updated)

Update: Option to remove ads for 24 hours or 30 days at a time (way to expensive) but Ok .. that’s a start and that’s an option so having that option is much appreciated. I’m sticking to my word. 5 stars cause the game is awesome and I love word games.

A one time payment would awesome! I would do that in a heartbeat. (Hint Hint 😉)

Original Review:
This game is fun and addicting. I love it but there are way to many ads. Please give the option to remove the ads. When the option becomes available I will change to 5 stars. The further along you get, the more ads there are. Annoying and unbearable

By

NO ADS - NOT JUST FOR 30 DAYS

I love this game! And like someone else said it would get five stars if there were no ads after every single game. But it’s not worth $10 plus A MONTH just to have no ads. I think you guys should make that $10 for no ads permanently, just my two cents thanks
AND… I am not sure other people are willing to pay $10 a month for it but I’m hoping that they read that before they do pay $10 and realize it’s only for 30 days.

By

Purchased removed ads- ONLY LAST 30 DAYS

Purchased the remove ad feature but it only lasts for 30 days and does not get rid of the banner ads at the top of the screen. Definitely not worth the $10 for them to only be removed for 30 days and not include the banner ads. $10 should be the price to remove ads forever, including banner ads. VERY disappoints

By

Enticingly exquisite

I just love this game because it really gets my mind to start thinking and wondering what words it really remember how to spell

By

Not paying monthly for ad removal.

I enjoyed the game and eagerly awaited the opportunity to purchase no ads. When I saw you added it I was excited to support developers. Then it said 9.99 for 30 days?!? For a mobile game? I would gladly pay 10-15 dollars for a permanent removal of ads but the money grubbing attempt is an instant delete for me. Your game is not worth that. It’s a really bad look.

By

Loved it at first BUT…

I loved this game at first, but I’m already sick of so many ads. Please give us the option to buy WordscapesSolitaire outright. I also bought the ad free Word Chums years ago and would love to keep playing this one, but if I can’t buy ad free, it won’t be worth my time; with so many ads it’s become tedious.

By

No option for Ad removal

I love this game and would actually play it more often if there was an option to remove ads!

By

Fun but….

I downloaded WordscapesSolitaire based on an add I saw and I liked the different looking format of the tiles. Why do developers show one thing in an ad but you get something totally different? I will give more stars when you give us exactly what your ads show.

By

No ads?

So far I am liking this game very much….NO ADS. The screenshots are actually in the game, hard to believe. Usually a game will look like a great idea, then when you load the game….its not even close to what it looks like. This game is fabulous, fast paced & fun. It’s not easy to find an interesting word game you can play and level up without the ads after each level.
I will definitely stop playing if I have to watch a ridiculous ad about a homeless mom and kid or a swimming king.
It’s a relaxing game that is both educational, enjoyable and entertaining.
Thanks

Great game

I never write reviews but had to for this game. I played Wordscapes for a long time but the puzzles were repeating too often. This game is fun and challenging and offers a different goal for each level. Even if you don’t keep up with your Library and all the other extras they offer, you’ll still enjoy it. Also, stop complaining about ads. It’s a free game and you can skip the ad after five seconds… 🙄

By

Just One Issue

I’m have finally found a game that is challenging, isn’t boring or repetitive, and I don’t get easily bored with. The unbelievable amount of ads is one thing, but if I have muted an ad that’s playing, I believe it should stay muted when it goes to the next ad. I spend too much time re-muting and re-muting, and some ads either have no mute button, or the sound plays despite the mute button showing that it’s off. It’s frustrating.

By

Yikes on the ad-removal update

So a lot of people were asking for a way to make a no ads purchase for this game. Well they delivered… in the worst way possible. Not only is the price terrible ($10 USD) which is already asking too much for what is essentially a quality of life feature, but the purchase only lasts for 1 MONTH and then you have to make it again. I’m sure the devs could use the money but good lord that’s some EA/Ubisoft levels of greed there. Dropping my rating 2 stars due to this.

By

Fun but ads are annoying

I love this game, it’s super addictive. Only downside is that there are constant ads and you can’t pay a one-time fee to purchase no ads, you have to pay $9.99 per 30 days to remove them which is super annoying. Not sure if I’ll keep it because of that, but we’ll see. Fun while it’s lasting!

By

So much fun

Spelling words and spelling bees were all we knew growing up and had competitions and bragging rights. Had these apps been available when I was growing up I would have been a beast! Fun figuring out words with what you have available to use. I get lost in the game sometimes. Great game

By

Lost progress

I was at level 369 game decided to glitch and not open. Had to delete and reinstall and lost all my progress. Tried to chat and they do not have ability to get my progress back.

By

Library of Words very Small

I am no vocabulary sleuth. Most of my 5-6 letter words are rejected; as not words. Very fun and relaxing to play but becomes frustrating as many many words rejected. I have confirmed my spelling with Alexa. Put a dictionary in WordscapesSolitaire.

By

Fun, but …

This is a super fun game, and I love it. But I’m on the edge of deleting it for these two reasons: 1) it’s gotten so bloody hard that I have to do levels again and again - and I rarely make the bonus points anymore. Why do game developers do that? Do they want me to get fed up and delete it, really? How does that make them money? And 2) get a real dictionary - please. The words “June” and “Saxon” were not accepted - seriously? These are English words - very frustrating to make good words and have them disallowed. Otherwise, pretty fun.

Fun game bad marketing strategy

This is an awesome game. That being said, it’s too bad they extort you with ads. I don’t pay to remove ads; I delete the apps that extort money from you to remove ads. I spend my hard earned money on fun games that I want to keep playing. There are too many fun games out there that actually let you enjoy the game and spend money IN the game.
I wish the creators would come up with exciting game play that players would WANT to spend money on. Annoying people with ads until they give up their money is wrong. You have an amazing game here but my money isn’t going to it.

Wordscapes Solitaire

Wordscapes Solitaire is a break from the usual word games out there. The graphics are nice and the sound is good. My only suggestion would be to lower the price of No Ads, ten bucks is a little heavy for a word game. Maybe have a sale of 50 percent off or something, I don’t know, just a thought. Great game you have here!

By

Exactly what the ad shows

This game is exactly what it shows in the ads. The ads are mostly banner ads and not intrusive. The first few levels are painfully simple, but about level 11 it starts giving you options instead of directing you to the solution. So far, it’s fun.

By

Like it, but.

I enjoy this game. My only annoyance is having an ad after every game. If it was after every few games I could stand it, but this is too much. I see you can pay a monthly charge for no ads. I do spend money in apps but usually the games I play have a one-time charge for no ads. That’s more reasonable.

Simulating game but poor vocabulary

I love this game. It’s got so many automatic perks and is easy to jump right in and play. BUT…. It uses slang and text words and it doesn’t seem right when you’re playing a game that can expand your vocabulary. ET: past tense of eat. “Have you et yet?”
Za: short for pizza. (And a teen in music)
Cine: short for cinema.
Those are just the ones I had in the last game I played. SMH: shaking my head 😜
I think it would also be better if the game tells you when you select a word and it’s not a “lost word,” to give you the opportunity to try a different word.
Lastly, the game should allow a player to refer to the library of lost words during the game. I’m on level 1400, I’ve completed seven books but I’ve got five shelves of new books of lost words.
These are just pet peeves. I’m still very happy playing it. I just think improvements are in order.

Challenging!

Not the ordinary word game! There are bonus awards for creating words of different lengths and finding ‘hidden words’ Hidden words are fun because you get books of different topics and then try to get all the words in those books for extra awards! There are locks to unlock, words to find and it is Challenging!! Just try it for 10 minutes, then tell me you hate it…..I “double dog, stick your tongue to the icy pole, dare you! 😏😏😏ENJOY!

What a great game! Very relaxing, too!

It’s rare that I write reviews, but…
I seriously love this game! It’s very fun, challenging, and addictive. In the short span of a few days I’ve been playing it, haha. I do really enjoy the mashup of word games and solitaire! I also enjoy how this game provides one with endless fun. Plus, the visual elements within the game are fantastic, I may add! Overall, I love it!
