Classic Solitaire card' games Reviews

Here's what I like about this version: 1) the sound of the bubbles popping is realistic; 2) the look is very realistic; 3) I love popping bubble wrap. Here's what I would change: 1) I wish there were an option where it would not be timed and not a game, so I can just enjoy the zen experience of popping bubbles; 2) I wish there was an option where the bubbles would not re-inflate (kind of like the mole popping back up on whack-a-mole); 3) I would rather it didn't periodically make the weird farting noise. I think the whole reason I like popping bubble wrap in the first place is the satisfying pointlessness of it. I wish they would just take the game out of it, and let me smile and pop a sheet of bubble wrap, like childhood. (The version called "bubblesnap" lets you do this, but the sound is not as realistic, there are half-bubbles along the edges (which I find annoying for some reason), and it instantly shows you a fresh sheet when you finish one, whereas I want to stare at the all-popped sheet for a moment.)

this is such an awesome game!! my high score is 240! there are a few problems though...
-my iPod freezes sometimes when I play it and the screen and buttons are nonresponsive. I do not have the 2.2.1 software update, this may be the problem. I have tried restarting. I do have the 2.2.0 software.
-at the end of the game, sometimes if I am really into the game I keep tapping while the screen is turning and I accidentally tap the ad or the link to ClassicSolitairecardgames store. this ruins my score and it happens quite often, and has made some scores in the 200s not count because I accidentally tapped something. please make this less responsive.
-a pause button would be nice too, but not necessary.
thank you for creating this amazing, free game!!! it is truly the best one out there.

I don't know if the developer actually reads these comments, but here are my three MUCH NEEDED enhancements:

1) Have an "unlimited" time function so my son can play this game while I'm at the dentist for 30 minutes straight - he's 2 so he knows how to pop, but not how to restart the game once the timer runs out.

2) When in timed game mode, you find your fingers still rapidly popping after the clock runs out and then you accidentally start clicking on the subsequent screen and either bypass the high score name entry or restart the game or something else entirely. Is there a way to prevent the gamer from accidentally clicking on the subsequent screens following game over?

Anyhow, #1 is needed. #2 is preferred. Happy popping.

I love playing this game, but since I'm constantly trying to hit bubbles throughout the game, I often hit the advertisement link on the high score screen, which take me to ClassicSolitairecardgames store. It gets annoying because then some of my best scores aren't saved!!! What I can do is slow down twoards the end, but I don't think many people find that very fun. I don't mind adverstising for the Bubble Pro, but can we put the link somewhere else? Maybe after we've saved our scores? Otherwise it's a great app that works fine for me.

Best app I have... I go on it all of the time to try and pass my last score... just got my iPod Touch yesterday and have a high score of 250 on BubbleWrap. Thanks SO much for making ClassicSolitairecardgames it's definately worth adding to your iPod! And it's FREE!?!? Wow. :) I love how you can save your scores and how it tells you how many bubbles popped is what level. (Like professional) Only change: Maybe instead of starting it right when you click ClassicSolitairecardgames could you have a PLAY or START button? It would help! :) Also, if you do make a Menu like that, maybe you could view your high scores w/out having to play the game again. Anyway, LOVE ClassicSolitairecardgames!

This is a stress reliever no matter how you do it. I think you need a little more time on it to chill about your control issues.

Stymyx this is life live it fun live it well. God gave us freedom of choice - use it well! Try not to let the tiny things get to you. We all actually have that freedom and can make different choices than you and still love you. How's about sharing a little of that love around you.

i love this game its so much fun!  but i have an idea that will make this game SO much better what u can do is have a little button at the bottom of the screen and if you click on it, it will bring u to a customizing screen for your bubble wrap you can choose what color u want it and u can have a list of designs to choose from and u can custimize it to have one of your photos on it even though it would look kinda weird cuz your pic would be spread out on all the bubbles well i hope u can do this and can u make it free or an update for people who already have it please thanx!!

Come on, we've all done this before. At least the bubbles reinflate so you don't suddenly have a roll of deflated bubble wrap sitting around. This really rides on the "keep it simple" idea, and really, it's a free app and something you can pull out in a moment of boredom and keep yourself entertained for a little while. I like the fact it can keep score of your personal best. I don't see myself buying the full version, however. Yeah, it'd be nice to be able to compete for a cash prize, but I don't have that much faith in my skills...that and I'm well-satisfied by this version.

very simple app it can be addicting by trying to beat and raise your high scores among friends.

my highest score is 212 but the scoring is kinda lame..you can just get lucky and get 5x bubble more often then the other person and beat they're score everytime! they should award you for consistently hitting a bubble without missing that way you can't just hit the screen like crazy and get bonuses.

oh and please fix the way the games end..I always hit the ad by accident because I'm still in the process of popping bubbles.

Okay, the idea is appealing-a trip to crazyville to pop bubbles (im serious). However, ClassicSolitairecardgames nearly made me have heart failure. It crashed on my iPod, and crashing has never occurred on my iPod before (I have tap tap revenge, penguin catapult and etc to the people who think this was my first app). Also, like some people before me, I played music and it just made this buzzing sound, quite loud too, and it happened even after I stopped the music. I had to reset it, and not sure if it is completely ok. Don't download this unless you have itouches or iPhones to spare. There are countless other fascinating games out there. I gave this a two only because it worked for about 5 minutes and I like the concept.

ok. the reason why you all are complaining about this game crashing is that when you try to pop faster, you push harder.... think about it!!! when you push harder you lose your coordination and you lose control... that then leads to you accidentally pressing your menu button at the bottom of your ipod and it takes you back to main screen. if youre so mad about this happening to you just be more careful. and try to think before you freak out.

This was one of the first Apps I "purchased" for my iPhone and it has been one of the few that I have gone back to just for fun. I say "purchased" but it is FREE which makes it even better. And for a free App it has already had at least 2 updates with the most recent adding some improved sound effects and a humorous high score feature. It is a simple, mindless App, but fun none the less and shows off the touch features of my iPhone in a great manner. Keep up the good work and thanks for updating even though it is free!

I never purchased ClassicSolitairecardgames, but it I discovered it on in the list of apps wanting updates on my phone. I tried deleting it, but I couldn't find it anywhere on my phone or in my app library. Then I letting ClassicSolitairecardgames update and deleting it afterward, but it immediately reappeared in my list of apps to update. Apparently it used to a bubble wrap popping app I purchased a long time ago. It has been changed into a completely different app—a sketchy, malware tactic which should get ClassicSolitairecardgames and the developers banned from ClassicSolitairecardgames store. Thanks to these reviews, I finally managed to root out and delete the original bubble-popping (called "Bubble Free") from my iPhone. I hope it stops trying to update itself back on to my phone now.

It's a great app, especially when you really have nothing better to do. And since I'm so competitive, I can't help but try to get a higher score each time. For those of you saying this is pointless, IT'S BUBBLE WRAP. Is there supposed to be a point?
My only problem with ClassicSolitairecardgames is that sometimes I pop every bubble on the screen, and then no bubbles pop back up for a second or so. Even though it's for a second, I feel like I'm wasting so much time. Otherwise, great app!

People who haven't even USED ClassicSolitairecardgames shouldn't write reviews either.

People, it's a GAME! You're not just popping bubbles. You're popping as many bubbles as you can within a specific amount of time, and some of the bubbles that you have previously popped suddenly "reinflate" and need to be popped again.

It's worth .99 cents, even though now it's free. And if some users think this (or ANY other app around here) is "too expensive and should be free", then how the heck did you afford your iPhone or iPod Touch in the first place?

When i first got ClassicSolitairecardgames i thought it was going to be pretty boring. When i played it i got addicted and i can't stop playing it. My friends and i take turns playing it to see who gets the higher score. Definately a great app. I have only one complaint. The bubbles do not respawn quick enough and it seems like i am waiting too much but that is a very minor complaint. It will either say it crashes your iPod or it's a boring game. First, it's completely safe (and free), and I've played this TRILLIONS of times, so I think I know if this is safe or not. Second, to the people who said it was a boring GAME, your wrong. This is in Entertainment, not Games, so if you don't like Entertainment, make sure you actually know what you're downloading. Anyway great app, probably the most downloaded free app on the whole app store fir the iPodTouch / Iphone.

Ah I lovethis app!! So addcting, my friends and I stayed up all night the other night playing this and it is awesome!!! I love it!!! I have no idea why people keep saying that it freezes their phone cause it has never done that to me before. Best iphone app ever!!!! One suggestion would be to make different levels with maybe different time amounts or change the amount of bubbles that are in it. Other than that it is soooopppeeerrr addicting and, coming from a thirteen yearold, DA BOMB!!!!:)

...but not that much better. It's a fun game at first but then it will get boring. It's great for competitions but it's not fun when you're playing by yourself. Sometimes it will crash but there is an advantageous. Just keep tapping the screen as if you're still popping the bubbles. After five seconds, it will unfreeze and the time will still be the same but the number of bubbles you popped when it crashed will count! This doesn't always work and in those cases, you'll have to reset your iPhone. My high score is 221.

Dan (the adult):
A kid has an unfair advantageous over an adult because they have smaller fingers and can pop the bubbles faster. I wish they had this control panel where you can control the size of the bubble, therefore equalizing the competiveness between child and adult. It's a great game for free. My high score currently is 208.

I don't know why I find this so entertaining and a huge stress relief!!! It's the most simple thing in the world but I never get bored of it. After a rough day at work I just pull this out and start popping and the stress melts away !! It's amazing! Please please make more things like this. Maybe a big red placebo help button app where you press the button and can configure different sounds that you hear. that would be really really cool.
