What more can be said. This is a mediocre app for general recording but try to record a call and be prepared for a host of frustration. Even the summaries are lacking any clarity and doesn’t capture the key points. ChatGPT does a far better job. I wouldn’t wast your time with Wave until the developer can provide a complete app and better support. I tried everything to trouble shoot but only added to increased frustration. The reviews are clearly fake if people find it that great.

Sad!! Sounds like a great app but only providing three ways to set up an account and not accommodating emails for new accounts is so prohibitive. I then tried to create an account with a Google account and it pushed me to use a passkey which I didn’t have set up so I ended up in this never ending loop. Finally crashed out and attempted to email app support but the link to app support requires an account to access. MAJOR FAIL!!!

I used to be able to copy a number from my Mac and paste it in the this app app on my iPhone. Now when I go to paste, it brings up a second keypad (which is redundant and pointless). This second keypad covers the call button, and no matter what I do I cannot make the second keypad go away. So I am forced to close Wave , open it again and dial the number manually. This is less efficient than the previous version.

I wanted to love Wave, but in one work week it failed to capture meetings on multiple occasions. Today was the straw that broke the proverbial camel’s back. I lost an entire 45 minutes of notes from a very complex and extremely important project meeting. Pressing stop did not end capture. I had to force close Wave , and when reopened it is stuck at “saving recording” but nothing is happening after 20 minutes of waiting. I have cancelled my standard subscription.

I used Wave as directed and merged the calls. Wave recorded only the first four and a half minutes of a very important 45 minute call. The call was not dropped or interrupted at any time, nor did I even handle the phone during the call as it was on speaker. I used Wave before and it did well for an entire hour long meeting. I will be cancelling my subscription as it is expensive so it should have done better

It is amazing the potential and summaries. The problem that I’m having is connecting in an easy way with costumer support. Every time that a call comes in, the recording stops and it does not save what was recording before. I have not found a way to troubleshoot. If is reliable and automatically saves the audio, I will feel safe to use it

I was hoping to be able to set and forget for several hours and come back to a summary of what had occurred and thoughts I had dictated. There is a severe glitch that causes the voice to text function to fail and fell the silence with what it thinks is spoken words. For example, my silence is filled with repetitive “thank you thank you thank you” because it hears a fan running in the background and makes a guess at what words that might be.

App gets stuck sometimes on the audio transcription step. Recently got stuck transcribing a 4 minute audio file. Was there maintenance going on, was the service down? I didn’t receive a notification.

I was in the middle of a one hour meeting and in the middle of it, I received a call on my phone. The recording before the call wasn’t saved and only the recording after the call was.
Until this bug is fixed, I won’t be renewing my sub.

This is the best AI note taker I’ve used. Way better than Teams and Google Meets. Not even close. this app actually knows what you are saying. And its summarization feature is amazing and useful.

However…

You cam only record when Wave is open. I need it to record whatever audio is playing on my phone. This way I cam record Teams meetings on my phone and decode podcasts.

Please add! Otherwise I am forced to use a competitor which is a shame.

I really like the ability to summarize conversations. I would like to be able to teach it some terms we use or product names.

It gets interrupted by phone calls and you aren't allowed to return to a meeting to append. That's a real issue for me. The summary doesn't format well once you try to copy/paste into OneNote. It comes out quite ugly even though the content is great. Maybe an export to OneNote would format it better.

I'd like a MacOS/iOS widget to click it on easily but this is pretty low on the requirements side.

I've already used it for complex meetings with lots of informaiton, and so far it's been great to summarize the meetings, extarct the action points, key issues, challenges, focused areas, etc.

I would give one more star is I could keep the formatting when sharing or exporting to OneNote, Word or email. All the time you save on summarizing, you spend it in formatting.

Great app so far, I know there are a lot of improvements they are working on. Looking forward to how it develops from here.

Wave is truly legitimate! For many years, I’ve worked in an environment where we have meetings on a frequent basis. Within those meetings, the stakeholders will discuss things and then change course right in the middle of the discussion which makes it difficult to capture, accurate notes and action items based on, discussion. Wave remedies all of that for me by being able to capture all discussions accurately!

I let Wave listen to my meetings at work and I don’t have to worry about taking notes. It comes back with not only a transcription, but also an excellent summary. I am so happy with this. It saves me a ton of time. I also use it for personal brainstorming and mind dumps - even in the middle of the night when something is keeping me awake. Then I can fall asleep and it reminds me in the morning. Love it!

So I go to lots of presentations and I want to stay engaged and not worry about writing. Also I catch what I missed and when I need clarity. Summaries are really good and so far it's been easy to share, store, and edit.

Looking forward to using it for creative writing.

I’d been looking for a couple of years for a note taking app that does what I want. It was exciting a few months ago when Notability added transcription to their audio recording feature. But the transcriptions, while very accurate, were only made available in paragraph chunks. And there was no summary.

Then I recently spotted this app AI Note Taker. Perfect for my needs. Business meetings, doctor appointments, sermons, etc. Thank you so much for what you've created. I know that the early days involve a lot of bug fixes, and I see that you’re updating Wave very frequently. Thanks for that too.

For the first couple of days after I started using your app, I had trouble getting to sleep, because I was thinking of all the different ways I could use it. In some settings, it can be a little intimidating for the person I’m meeting with to realize that I’m recording the meeting. So I typically just use Voice Memos on my Apple Watch to do the initial recording. After the meeting, I share the audio file over to this app for the transcript and summary.

Anyhow, I could go on and on. I just really appreciate your app. Great job!!!

Are on point and Organized

I have to say that the overused word “amazing” is very appropriate in this case. I can’t believe the speed and accuracy of the meeting summaries, appropriateness of both the categorical breakdowns and analytical conclusions!!

It soo good and I am loving it. I tried it for 2 of my design sessions as tech lead I am usually engrossed in driving the design session and have a hard time multitasking to capture all notes. And even if we ask team members to take notes junior members are not that involved in the discussion so they don’t take good notes and dont summarize them very well but I was simply fascinated by how this app did capture all notes from the last two very complex design sessions and it very neatly clearly succinctly gave me a summary with next steps in the way it organized the notes was fantastic I’m just so tempted to become paid user and take the subscription. Great job guys!!

Wave is perfect. You can just turn on the recording tell it what kind of summary you want and go. Cross device syncing is a very nice touch. I will be paying for Wave. Well done.

Great app for live conversations. Would be even better if you were able to upload recordings for transcription.

For years my business partner and I spent countless hours updating each other on what happened in our meetings/calls each day… now we just use this app to summarize and share all our meetings each day. GAME CHANGER

Such an awesome way to capture insights from meetings without being distracted with taking notes. Allows me to fully engage and trust all of my follow ups will be ready for me! Way better than any human note taker too. And less biased.

Wow. I can’t say enough about this amazing app. It can take a 30 minute meeting and summarize it into a couple pages of bullet points that I can instantly forward to my clients via text message. By the time we leave the meeting, they have a summary of what we discussed as if I had a personal assistant sitting in the meeting taking notes. This is a game changer!

Wave is limitless and it’s ability to process information is great. I tried three different software AI Claudia, and this the price range was about the same. In fact being unlimited it is really really good option. I’m amazed and the service if not cheaper at the same price because literally can’t find any better deal than this.

This is a great example of something I didn't know I needed until I used it. this app doesn't just record conversations -- it digests and summarizes conversations with almost magical intelligence. And then it makes the magic shareable. I'm going to use this (ethically) for so many things -- board meetings, school meetings, team meetings. It does such a good job at taking smart notes, and the thoughtful interface is a pleasure to use.

Honestly don’t know how Wave can do such a good job with taking notes of technical stuff and acronyms and things, but it does. It boils down incredibly long meetings into extremely easy to digest meeting minutes that seem to be as detailed as necessary but also provides clear summaries that are very crisp and short. Truly amazing 🙌🏻 idk where it’s been my whole life. I thought the subscription cost was high but it’s worth every penny

I just started using Wave. The quality of notes that it takes and transcribes is fantastic. I used it to record a home building tv show that I was watching. It clearly summarized and organized notes of the entire episode in great detail. I wish it could process the notes in real time so I can also see it at work. It can take awhile after the recording to transcribe the data into notes depending on the length of the recording and your device. For a new app, this is super cool and I can’t wait to see where it goes!

I used Wave in a meeting for the first time and loved the accuracy and dependability it provided during the entire meeting for one hour.
