Sticky Notes App + Note Widget Reviews

I've never considered myself as OCD until the day I realized that I make lists, then a prettier version of my list, then an alphabetized list of my list -- and God forbid it would be a grocery list -- I would have to do an aisle-by-aisle list. I even got to the point the I would ask my husband to make a "quick list" for me, and he realized he was doing a reiteration of my previous six versions of the same list!
I have a new med for my OCD, and it is called StickMe Notes. One list that if I want to rearrange it, I can revert 50 years and give my cellphone one good Etch-A-Sketch shake?
StickyNotesAppNoteWidget IS the answer to incessant note/list makers. Go ahead and break out of your shell and try making only ONE list and give your OCD a break for the holidays, using all of that extra time to make small handmade gifts, and then revise those, revise the revised ones... you get the gist.

StickyNotesAppNoteWidget would’ve been perfect for me, it seems organized, fun, well put together, and overall great help, but I have yet to experience any of those things because of the fact that you must pay for everything. You see, I’m a 14 yr old, Autistic Girl, and it can be really hard for me to remember basic everyday care, like eating breakfast, and despite that, i love routine, i just need something to help me keep that routine. As stated before, I am a 14 yr old girl, so to no surprise, I do not have money that I can just spend on an app, especially on multiple occasions over time. So, while it seems like it would be a great app for me, and many other people with struggles similar to mine, the only money I have is the money I am saving up for a good college, a car, and other future things. If you can pay the money, I would recommend StickyNotesAppNoteWidget based off of what I have seen. If not, don't even look at it, because it will just disappoint you, seeing what you are missing out on, solely based on your wealth.

Everyone is so busy nowadays: we need to get items done for work, for our family, for home & sometimes there's still more 🙄! StickyNotesAppNoteWidget has really helped me remember the important things I used to write in the date book or more recently a smart phone appversion of a date book... either way you don't have these important reminders in front of your face and by the end of the day you realize you forgotten to do several of them. The best part of this? I really enjoy my " off time" so much more because I don't have bunch of different things I still need to get accomplished "hanging over my head" !!

This would have gotten 5 Stars but it is missing something very important to me. It's easy to access and take notes, looks great and has an alarm with sound not just the banner flash like all the others but I needed to be able to save my Google search articles straight away. I pay for the subscription here so it has to check all the boxes. I found a free app that does everything I just listed and had a place to import my notes from Evernote (which charges way too much) but at least I didn't lose all my previous notes. Now the free one doesn't have a sound alarm which was the reason I was searching for a new one to begin with but with all of the research I do on Google ect. I found that it is more important to be able to save to my notes straight away and not have to upload from my camera. So, for just sticky notes, it works great but for organization it fails miserably. I do not mind paying the subscription fee but it has to have everything.

Found myself missing or forgetting so many things since the computer and phone industry has taken over my brain. I missed having my list and I found myself forgetting things that I usually would have put a quick post it note usually where ever I needed to remember so I wouldn’t forget.... then I realized something I always have my phone don’t even go to the bathroom without your phone! Then I found StickyNotesAppNoteWidget it had made it easier when I think of something just pop it on the post now and then when I’m in the kitchen I open it and see was there anything I was supposed to be doing in this room… So great for those of us that are losing our memories because we rely so heavily on our smart phones that we aren’t smart LOL!!!! I love it!

I hope you don't ever need help with this application because you won't get it. The very first time I tried using it I had a problem where it was showing I had a note (red circle with a 1 in it by the icon) but I didn't have one... In fact I didn't have any notes at all. I tried getting in touch with the developers and after a few days someone replied to my email. We went back and forth and finally they said they didn't know what was wrong and "maybe it would be corrected on the next update". That was over a couple months ago and I still have that problem. I had even purchased some of the extras, so now I have a program that does not work properly, with developers saying they can't fix it and will now have to delete it so I'm not having to see that note waiting circle every day and I'm out some money as well. I would suggest you get a program where the developers have the knowledge to fix problems if they occur.

As other reviewers mentioned, this is not really a free app (for all practical purposes). It gives users only 3-4 notes for the lifetime usage of StickyNotesAppNoteWidget . I went ahead to pay $0.99 for the unlimited notes purchase, as anyone who really want to use StickyNotesAppNoteWidget would do. This seemed under-handed to get users to pay for profit. It's a negative.

Also, the sticky notes can't be arranged to the way I like, simply by dragging them to locations where I want them. The right option tab always gets triggered and all notes get auto arranged on top of each other. This happens whenever you have more than 4-5 notes on the same screen.

Overall user experience is fairly poor. I went ahead to delete StickyNotesAppNoteWidget and found another called "abcNotes", which works great. I highly recommend people check it out before paying for this poorly constructed app.

When I first downloaded StickyNotesAppNoteWidget I was disappointed because adding a sticky note to your phone’s home screen wasn’t as easy as promised. However, I left a review and reached out to customer service to share my complaint, and within weeks they had updated StickyNotesAppNoteWidget and made many improvements!! They even updated it again to allow users to chose the color of sticky notes when saved as wallpaper for your phone! I really appreciate their quick response and the changes they’ve made to StickyNotesAppNoteWidget , and I use it all the time now.

I was 11 when I got StickyNotesAppNoteWidget. When I first saw it, it seemed amazing and I couldn’t wait to get it. But then I found out that you needed to pay to even USE StickyNotesAppNoteWidget . I get it most people can pay, but there’s kids that want/need these types of apps too, so it’s really disappointing. I’d be fine if it’s just for special things, like using backgrounds from photos, but I expected to be able to at least WRITE something and be able to USE StickyNotesAppNoteWidget, because frankly at the moment the only thing I can do with it is move around the pre-made note. Please make StickyNotesAppNoteWidget usable without having to pay? Otherwise all it’s doing is taking up storage. Thank you, I apologize for my ranting, even thought I greatly need this.

Wow. Why, developers, do you not simply charge for StickyNotesAppNoteWidget before downloading? Why are you misleading potential customers by making it seem like StickyNotesAppNoteWidget is free with optional subscriptions??

I am extremely annoyed. I would gladly pay for an app that I am AWARE I must pay to use, but this? It’s deceitful. I can’t even USE StickyNotesAppNoteWidget without subscribing or agreeing to a “free trial” that I have to remember to cancel after 7 days?? Why isn’t this fact mentioned ANYWHERE pre-download?

It’s not even an issue of lack of money at this point. I would simply never give my hard earned money to a group or individual that found it okay to coerce you into paying for a productivity application that appears free... but in reality isn’t. Staying away from this developer in the future!

I would first like to say that I love StickyNotesAppNoteWidget. It is one of the best I’ve seen and used in years. Thank you.

However, with your recent update, I am no longer able to change the appearance of my notes, delete old notes, or create/access folders. I have the new iPhone XR. When I try to tap on the trash can to delete the selected note(s), I’m unable to touch it because it’s too far down on my screen. The same applies to changing notes and creating folders. I don’t know if this is just an issue with this device model or something within StickyNotesAppNoteWidget .

Again, I really do like StickyNotesAppNoteWidget . 👏🏽 However, I don’t want to be stuck with note backgrounds that I can no longer change to match a newly selected message board or old notes that need to be deleted.

Although no
App will ease everyone equally, it works consistently for me. I do wish I could write a longer list in edit view and see it all while I am keying, but below a certain point the list does not rise while you are keying and you are writing blind. But for the price I can handle that and look/edit later again. Perhaps I would be willing to buy an upgraded version where longer list visibility is possible and also not having to click on Edit two
different ways to get writing. Otherwise, a good app.

Look this seems like a great app and a useful app but I’m young and don’t have money laying around to use on apps . I find it unfair that these useful apps can’t be used by many more people solely because people don’t have the money to spend on this especially not a monthly or weekly thing. This would be very useful to me but if it wasn’t all about money it would be better. Something else to add on is younger people like me which note I’m 11 don’t have that kind of money and most of us need this but that fact that you can’t even right on the sticky note makes no sense I hope you see this and make some changes thank you.

When I first started using StickyNotesAppNoteWidget I was frustrated because it was very difficult to move out of typing a note to the main screen because the done button was blocked by the keyboard. I was also frustrated that the text sizing was inconsistent from the note editor to the main screen. But that was all ok until I exited StickyNotesAppNoteWidget and came back, at which point I couldn't add new notes unless I upgraded to the paid version. It is absolutely false advertising to say that StickyNotesAppNoteWidget works on the unpaid version, and I can't believe I downloaded it. Apple should take StickyNotesAppNoteWidget down because they give away perks in exchange for good reviews, which I'm sure is against the rules. Don't fall for the high ratings. Don't download StickyNotesAppNoteWidget!

Back to one of my fav and most functional apps Love to be able to show quick to-do’s right on my lock screen. Use it for things not in my calendar but many little and big things I need to get done and a reminder every time I look at my phone means I don’t forget. Replaces the scrap piece of paper usually used to carry. Thanks for putting the color wallpaper functionality back so I can have a yellow post-it note on my lock screen!

I was excited to use app; especially as widget on Home Screen. Very disappointing experience. Where to start...... 1) set default note options under settings. However, when I created new note, none of default options appeared. 2) created note and added as widget to Home Screen. I then updated note. None of the changes appeared on Home Screen note. They did in app. If the note does not auto update, it is pretty useless. 3) In app, the color, solid, pattern choices in settings do no match the option same choices when creating new note.

Overall, not very intuitive.

Nothing I hate more than free versions that sound like they're functional but are useless. I understand a lot of apps will have free versions with ads and/or limited functions, but this one gave me just 3 or 4 notes and then wouldn't let me add any more without purchasing the pay version. They ought to have to pay me for wasting my data allowance. Tactics like that guarantee I will never purchase the paid version of StickyNotesAppNoteWidget or any other app from this company - I don't care how many stars it's rated. Be honest. Nowhere does the description say the free version only gives you 4 notes, which isn't even enough to really play around with StickyNotesAppNoteWidget since it locks you out even if you've deleted the notes!

Have been using StickyNotesAppNoteWidget for months and loving it. A recent update caused problems, but once I went through the developer website to contact them they communication was great and they worked quickly to fix the problem and kept me updated the entire time. In a world where good customer service is hard to find, this team was very refreshing and the quality of support is worth dealing with bug every now and then!

Loving the flexibility of StickyNotesAppNoteWidget so far! My only concern right now is that when I open the front page (regardless of it being the first time opening StickyNotesAppNoteWidget ) where all my notes are, the notes move around on top of each other and under each other. It takes a while for the plus sign to actually let me add things when the screen is like this.

Honestly, StickyNotesAppNoteWidget takes some getting used to. It took me a while to figure out how to use it but once I have it's been pretty great. The worst thing is having to buy unlimited notes for $.99 but it's not that bad. They only give about 3 or 4 for free and everything else is nice. You can recover deleted notes if you want and also make them what you want them to look like with color, and font. Try out the free version but if you get the hang of it and you like it you'll have to buy the notes for $.99 just so you know. For me it was worth it though.

Yeah. Me too. This fixes those and nearly any other similar scenario you can imagine.
Screen shot that text, make a colored sticky note to summarize or title your thought, then add the photo. Crazy functional useful cool.
Love it. Worth the price to me 100%.
I’m not paid to say this - or even given StickyNotesAppNoteWidget for free. I’m just an average guy, Dad, business owner who tried this for a couple days, then happily clicked the $16 yearly subscription. This will be worth more than that to me - this month.

I purchased StickyNotesAppNoteWidget, because the impression that I got from StickyNotesAppNoteWidget Store page was that I could assemble a board of sticky notes, and have that dynamically update my lock screen whenever there were changes to it.

It turns out that the developer was boasting that you could save a single sticky to your photos app as a photo, and then...wait for it...the developer explains how to set a photo in your photos app as a lock screen.

I was put off by the initial expense and the required annual renewal, but for this feature, I was willing to just pay the cost for the function and be happy. Very disappointing marketing.

In fairness, I only installed StickyNotesAppNoteWidget for a few minutes. I tried to set a lock screen up, and quickly realized that there was no such feature, merely an explanation of how to set the lock screen using existing Apple features.

I deleted StickyNotesAppNoteWidget and cancelled my subscription immediately. My one star review is only relevant to that one feature. I did not use StickyNotesAppNoteWidget beyond that.

I really like StickyNotesAppNoteWidget and the flexibility and creativity of the note-taking options. also, StickyNotesAppNoteWidget gives you the ability to organize and set reminders. I have tried almost all the different styles and types of note taking apps but this is my favorite. as a plus, the developer answered my question in less the 24hours. 10 out of 10

Got excited to speed up writing and checking my sticky notes. So I purchased StickyNotesAppNoteWidget.

I arranged them on the board the way I need them. Only to see each time I do anything it piles them up all in one pile! Frustrating. This thing has a mind of its own.

In some areas moving notes is restricted for no good apparent reason. Specifically near the toolbar on the right. The toolbar is keep popping up. No much of flexibility placing the notes where you want them in general. At times noted are resisting moving and/or going right back after being moved. So much fun...

The type bar is not going away when done typing. Meaning there is no Done button, or tapping or apparent way to close the bar. Need to exit it by clicking Send and then Cancel then Done.

Drawings on the notes are apearing and disappearing on and off.

Can't save the notes to photos. Saves them blank.

So what is going on?
