The app is free, the other apps in this series are free. They all offer a three day free trial—which you can cancel to use an ad supported version. This one sneakily, and arbitrarily, isn’t actually a free trial, and just charges you for the year, and should offer you a refund when you instantly cancel it as you’re able to do with all the others.
