Don’t feel like using discord but suggestions

Will improve rating if improved. 1. The school should count down when off line. I don’t want to leave my phone on 24/7 for a game to get a student to finish class. 2. Make items stack able to 5 or 10 like beds, screws, boxes. Needs six screws and some boxes to upgrade box by 5 slots is kind of bad as you have no room for other items. Plz fix 3. Easy way to sell items once people stop buying them. Got a surplus in beds and other stuff but lack silver and people are stopped buy items fast at the cheapest price. Also the sell table I accidentally bought a few extra tabs as the buy expand button pops up when clicking on removing or 👌 an item to replace it back on market. Plz fix this as you can mistakenly buy extra tab when saving gold for other things if your rapid clicking on removing items from sell. Then think items could be sold instantly if it hits the end of 4 hour timer at a discounted price if we can’t sell it at low price.

Yet another fantastic idea…ruined with micro transactions

Just charge us for the game upfront AND LET US PLAY. It’s a FANTASTIC game, I’ll buy the content packs, I’ll buy the extra content — but build queues, micro transactions, tapping the screen like an animal to get more coal…and waiting??? Come on guys. Countless games have been ruined with strategies like this. The is whole paradigm is beyond broken, yet everyone copies it hoping to find the next whale who has $1K to spend. You’ll make so much more letting everyone pay for the game and just play. Let me play the game like it was designed on Steam—strategy, thoughtfulness, balance of resources, etc. This is monetization gone terribly wrong, resulting in a total-turn-off game experience. Bleh. Happy to change my rating once you abandon this monetization approach—then you’ll get a 5. PS. On the upside the cutscenes are cool and well done. But spend some money on a better pricing strategy. Time to bring in a professional.

Incredible Port!! Played this on PC

I’ve been playing this app for over 2 years now and I’m a big fan of 11 Bit Studios since the start and I must day this is an amazing port that the devs has collaborated to work on!! Absolutely love the aesthetic and is true to the original gameplay on PC! Some things are different which is expected for a mobile game but they are easy to navigate. I still however prefer the original mechanics on PC but that is just my preference and this mobile version is definitely a must get regardless!! Keep it up developers!!

Review from a Long-Time Frostpunk Fan

I’ve waited so patiently for this and now that it’s finally here, I don’t even have words. Everything about this is just how I imagined, and even better. The graphics, music, everything is just like I had hoped. This game has been my favorite for so long, and I’m so happy I can have it with me whenever now :)

Unsatisfying

I have tried to enjoy this multiple times and if I can at some point, I will come back and update this review. But this feels very unsatisfying. I don’t like the idea of Frost Punk being like FarmVille. The nature of this game is one that doesn’t lend itself to this model, in my opinion.

The things I like about this app are the ethically tough choices, the ability to explore, the freedom to make horrible mistakes that require a full restart, and the different possible paths to victory. I’m not sure there’s any of that, here.

I hope you’ll continue developing the game and I hope I can fall in love with it like I have the original game, but I’m not there yet.

Game is way too hard !!!

I understand no pain, no gain… But pain on the brain so intense I would rather want to be a Guinea pig for testing at a mental illness hospital than play this… no, I’m not just trying to be funny. The game difficulty is cranked up beyond any other game… Imagine this ?? There’s only 300 gatherable coal and wood and food…. This last maybe 30 minutes of gameplay, after that, the resources doesn’t even respawn :( Better solution ?? Make the wilderness bigger, and put all 300 of each resource close to the survival tent… And, if we want to gather more stuff, respawn it slightly further away, with bigger chunks. It will still make the game brutally hard…. But it wouldn’t make the game impossible to play… Thx for hearing me out.

It’s okay.

Let’s start out and said it monetization. Why not just charge full price for the game. But what’s worst is that the game is still in early access, but there is a store. The game has a following. I love this app. Put the original is so much better. Why pay to win. When I saw it, I was excited I thought it was a
Going to be direct from console to iOS. But it wasn’t . Different mechanics , same set up, but way more of a grind. Unless of course you pay. Season pass?! What?! lol come on. You’re above this. You’re better than this.

Short review from someone who has played on PC and PS

This port works unbelievably well, the devs have always cared about there players but to port a game like this to mobile takes skill, and kudos to these amazing devs; and also, devs if your reading this and just people in general, remember, all of you are amazing, never forget that.

I don’t care if the game hasn’t released yet!

I’ve played this on steam, I love these types of city builders! For years I’ve wanted this and Anno 1885, maybe that can be your next project Com2us. But for now thank you for taking this on, can’t wait 2h20m!

Obviously the main game is better, but this has potential.

I can’t even assign enough jobs to people since there’s a limit on how many workplaces I can build, however, the game wants me to keep upgrading houses to get more people to move in, which consumes more food.
You shouldn’t have to keep tapping resources to pick them up, it should be stored automatically.
It’s pretty dumb that you have to keep assigning workshop orders manually, instead of producing an item continuously.
You should be able to trade basic resources with other settlements.
Lastly, I kept playing until the tax office stopped collecting taxes, for an unknown reason.
It is cool that you can dig holes in the snow by tapping on it tho.

Not like the original

Similar, but not the same. Adding harvesting mechanics like “Hay Day” is cringe for the this app brand and a quick way to turn a great game in to a ridiculous grind unless you’re willing to dish out actual cash. Also, Im the captain but I have someone telling me what to do the whole time… doesn’t make sense and is pretty annoying. I’m shocked 11 Bit actually thought this was a good idea. 2 stars because the sound design and visuals are pretty solid.

Everything Too Small & Washed Out Graphics

I’m not sure but this may be a port from a PC Game because it is hard to read the conversations comfortably and easy. Also, the graphics are pretty simple and not rich and beautiful.

————————————————————————————————————-

Also, it looks as though, there is a subscription thing going on and many things to buy in the store. It just seems as though, they took an old popular game at one time and are tryin to cash in, on the popularity of the frozen survival genre games, that are currently popular.

————————————————————————————————————

Unfortunately, the other games have done it better and are far more updated and visually appealing.

It’s about time

Finally put the game on the mobile app thank goodness it’s nothing like the steam release version for steel. This is only the early access and I’m loving the features already.

By

I want to like it

I loved this app on PC and console, but this....isn't this app. It's loaded with all sorts of microtransactions and paid currencies that block progress. No real choices being made, either. Just your standard, "tap to collect", F2P resource manager with a this app skin. I've sunk about 2hrs and $1 into it and that's more than enough for me unless things change a lot during this Early Access period.

By

Pay to Progress Garbage

Oh no! Your warehouse is full so now you cannot collect the materials you need to trade to get schillings so that you can build a coal mine because all of the natural resources are gone! Guess you’ll just die then…unless, you give us some money!

Typical pay gating style game where you don’t wanna miss out on the 1000% value pack that has the 1 rare item you need to upgrade a very specific and important building.

Been waiting for awhile!

I know it’s a great game, just can’t get past the start screen. Please fix that if yall can. I’ll play the living heck outa the game if it’s fixed! :)

By

Unfortunate

I was so hopeful I could purchase the game and play it. Instead you are greeted with a game full of micro transactions, unnecessary data sharing, and a pay to win/progress model. Unfortunately, nothing like the original game on PC/Mac. If you were hopeful for a more consistent port to iphone/ipad, this is not it. I will stick to playing this via GeForce Now on my iPad from my Steam purchase.

Error

Guys amazing job for such a nice master art piece i need help because i can’t find server, it pop up error to connect with server

By

Nothing like the real game

Frostpunk is a cheap cash grab from the “studio” that licensed the property from 11 Bit. Grammatical & syntax errors abound. The game doesn’t shove micro transactions in your face, but I can only assume that’s because it’s still in early access. They’re still lurking a few menus away.

Do yourself a favor, go buy the real game on PC or console. You’ll have way more fun.

By

Exciting!

Throughout the entire game, you have to balance fuel, food and building material in order to create a better society. What a wonderful challenge!

By

Wanted to like this.

Really tried to like this game and was willing to put up with some extra timers and usual mobile nerfing. However it’s just a slog through inscrutable systems and odd demands from the game. Your constantly pestered with “trade requests” that are absolutely at your disadvantage and the return for your time is not worth it. These in paired with the other demands to run your city are a nightmare of a UI issue, constant overlapping buttons that are opening a window that is not needed to be addressed. Overall these things next to a game with poor execution on informing the player of the strategy is pretty much unbearable unless your value of time spent it low.

An Amazing Survival/City-Building Game

This is one of my favorite Survival/City Building games. You take on the blizzard and run a generator to keep your citizens warm and working, and have to collect and manage resources to survive the cold. It’s such a neat concept and I love it, definitely give this game a try, as well as the console/PC versions of you want a real challenge.

By

Great game

I’m loving this game so far and am a huge fan of the console edition, one thing I would say about it though is the roads should be able to be placed on connecting buildings like in the normal games. Like the roads shouldn’t take there own space to build. Otherwise great game

By

Nothing like the PC Version

If you played the PC version, DO NOT expect to have the same experience. All sense of the RTS survival elements of the PC are gone. They “mobilized’ this game into something more akin to FarmVille. You manually harvest coal and wood (when you have the energy). There is timers on most of the buildings for building and gathering.

-Cash Shop- enough said.

I waited years for this since it was announced. All I’ve wanted is a solid game like this ported to the iPad but they have completely ruined this title. AVOID THIS GAME!

By

Fun game but

Fun game but the shilling currency is a little to overwhelming I feel like that a currency the game can do without just let us use the resources we already have instead of having to use shillings to build everything including roads only complaint but game is really cool

By

Better than PC Version Free to Play

I started a free to play account and have had a lot of fun logging in every day and it’s been fun watching my city grow. I’d say this is the best version of this kind of game.

Problem

how to change language?

So far so good but music & error 253??

Can we please play our own music when playing the game?? As a PC game.. fine. But it’s an app now and switching between having the music stop every time and have to restart is so add on depressing and annoying actually. Please open the ability to play your own phone’s music when playing!!!!!!

And wth is error 253?? Always login problem but signal is top!! Everything is working Game Center logged in.

Mobile remake not a port

I have followed this game for awhile. Don’t have a PC so I was excited to see a mobile version.

Unfortunately, this is a cash cow version of the game. It was disappointing to see stores and purchases and energy systems.

On top of that, the data mining is pretty extreme. Normally I don’t even bother with games that track this much. Gave it a shot, got a rip off banking on a big name brand, and they have my data to boot.

By

Just charge for the game

Microtransactions need to be put down like a 30 year old dog. This game seems like it could be great but if I’m going to be hit with 1 dollar micro transactions CONSTANTLY Im just not going to play. If you charged me 5,10 maybe even 15 dollars at the start I’d be willing to pay that for a good game but I am not going to sit here making micro transactions multiple times per play session. I’m sick and tired, and I know for a fact other people are too with this CONSTANT micro transaction nonsense. I’m done with this game. You companies need to learn.

Fun game but would love a pause feature

Was looking for a game similar to one I have on my switch, and this is it. Super fun, can dive in and enjoy it.

However the inability to pause the game if you have to step away and don’t have the world set up is hard for me.
