Great premise, fun game . . . when it works. Since you make most of your real money by getting us to watch ads in the game, I'm a bit surprised that trying to watch an ad crashes OfficeSpace at least half the time, 80% of the time when trying the event loot box "watch an ad, get cool stuff" feature.

I mean, I understand that OfficeSpace has to run on so many different platform. . . Oh, wait, it's a iOS app, so you know exactly what you're dealing with, making the lack of stability all the more frustrating.

5 stars if it was stable. The coup de grace is that the "App help" link above tries to take you to a site that doesn't exist or already won't load, so instead of support you get the chance to set up your own support site. Awesome.

It used to occasionally crash when watching an ad. Then they updated OfficeSpace , and it crashed more frequently during ads. Then they updated again, same thing. This version is so bad it's almost unplayable; not only do the ads crash far more often than not, now they've introduced crashing when you're *not* watching an ad. . . I've cut down my playtime, and almost completely stopped watching the ads, despite the bonuses, because I have better things to do than watch this game's loading screen.

To add insult to injury, they've now added a 'take a break, watch this ad, get 10 jewels'...uh..."feature," which is unskippable. So now, you're almost guaranteed a crash even if you're not watching ads, because they're forcing you to watch an ad.

It's too bad, because this game is actually really fun; it needs better explanations of the rules, but it's one of the very rare games that I was considering getting an in-app purchase from. Not now, though. Not until they fix it.

This game should be called “Arsonist”. The only way to advance after you expand the first time is to keep burning over and over again. Even with constant burning, you’re held back by the huge cost of the colored plans needed to build the buildings. Assign all your best workers to “bricks” and “wrenches” and just wait. (Bricks because you’ll need a huge amount of them, and wrenches because they take longer than other materials to build up.) You need all the materials working all the time, it’s just these 2 are the most critical.

I avoided expanding the first time for as long as I could. I’m sure glad I did. After you expand, the game completely changes its feel. It’s a lot harder, and like I said, all you do is burn, burn, burn, and also make colored plans.

First, let me say that I enjoy this game. There is a problem with the math and how it multiplies profits. In the section of the game where you get to craft items, you are supposed to get a bonus when you opt to craft certain things. For instance, when you craft eight of a particular item, you can get ten of something else. When you craft that item, it affects how much money you get. Instead of getting more money, the bug will take away earnings. Not fun when you’ve got some momentum going and when you craft to multiply items, it actually subtracts from the amount your earning on each floor.

I downloaded the game because i am a die hard Mike Judge Fan since i was a young punk watching Headbangers Ball and Beavis and Butthead. Ah, the good ol' days when MTV was about music. So, i didnt even look at what type of game it was. When i went to play it a quickly realized it was in the category of the thousands of other tap and upgrade mindless counter games that are out there. Fortunately, it has a little more variety to it than just tap and upgrade. Been playing for a few hours now and it is a good time waster. Still have not figured out how to level up the characters you can assign to the levels yet though, really bothering me. Good game though especially if you are an Office Space fan.

I originally gave this a 5 star, but then there was a catastrophic update. The update had a major flaw that they finally “fixed” but the game is pretty much garbage now. The introduction of crafting was relatively ok, but the crafting materials are acquired disproportionately and you end up ridiculously short on that one you really need kind of like McDonalds monopoly. My wife and kids have deleted this game completely and moved on. I sneak peaks at it about 10 percent of the time I did before hoping they come to their senses, but I literally laugh out loud when it costs 1000 plans to upgrade and they charge $9.99 for the pleasure of crafting an extra boost of 6. I have numbers in the 10s of thousands of all items I need but 71 of the one I need 10s of thousands of. AVOID the hook of a game that takes a classic and mocks you with it.

This game is a lot of fun but there are a ton of new aspects to it. I have been playing since early May and only really started to understand it when I started using the forums. They will help make everything understandable so you aren't completely overwhelmed.
That being said there are a few issues, biggest one being if you have an iPhone 6 or lower the ads tend to crash. There's also a few problems on the flair wall but if you submit a ticket the support team is pretty good about making sure you get what you earned.
Weirdest thing is this is an idle game with new events every Wednesday that have leaderboard rewards...

While I have enjoyed the game for the last month I do find that there are still a few issues (bug) left to resolve. Mainly updates. In this last update the program would stop loading and tell me there was an update only to find that there was no update available. So I waited and waited, rebooted and waited some more. Finally I decide to remove the program and reload it. Of course you know ?I lost 3 weeks of progress and all 9,000 gems along with it. Why would you even include an auto save feature that fires every few seconds when your gonna loose all your progress when a update fails? I’l still play because the game is funny but be carful when you spend your time and money on a game that will just rob you.

The expansion piece was fine and all until you get to the crafting and errands. I have been playing this game everyday for weeks, and I’m barely halfway through the 2nd building (Snaphat). Bricks take forever to get, and require 50 just to craft one plan? Crazy. I am -25 levels away from expanding. Yes, NEGATIVE 25 levels. I’m to the point that I cannot even gain 1% in the level progress after 3 days. PLEASE make the bricks go away, become easier to get, or make them less necessary to craft plans. Nowadays i don’t even play unless there’s an event. There’s no point because I can’t hardly even buy floors at this point. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE FIX. I thought the expansion update would be more of a challenge, and i enjoyed it at first, but now it has become the bane of my existence. (ESPECIALLY THE FRIGGIN BRICKS)

I’m a huge sucker for silly free mobile games. The ones that are absolutely nothing like the ads and tricks you into paying twenty for stupid stuff? Amazing love that. This game, to my immense delight, is nothing like that. I’ve paid for diamonds maybe twice my whole time playing, ads only show up if you click to watch an ad for boosts (which you do need to finish the daily tasks for diamonds but other than that I’ve never needed to click one) and it has so many little things to do that I don’t get bored easily.

I loved the movie and had high hopes for the game seeing as how I am a sucker for these tapping games, however the ads constantly crash the game and force me to restart. The mini games on the side seem pointless to me, and unless you want to spend all your cash to buy flair, you're not getting anywhere with this game any time soon, no matter how often you burn it. I'm almost at level 50...in three days I only earned a little over 3%...that's clicking nonstop. I'm about done with the game, the developers really need to listen to their customers here when they repeatedly tell them there needs to be an improvement. Fix the constant crashes, stop the mini games, and stop making it take so ridiculously long to level up.

Events are great since the main game is frustrating with the new errands/crafting aspect. That being said, the events have major bugs that don’t seem to get fixed for the duration of the event. For example, last event the production boosts with crafting didn’t register. This event, there is the same problem, in addition to a flair problem, anddd a problem with assigning characters. Straighten out the bugs and this will be a great app.

So first off this game is awesome. You get to level up floors, get different characters however the main problem is that once you hit the level where you have to expand it loses all the fun and excitement. Because instead of leveling up just one part of the game you have to level up the expansion as well. I was leveling up the main floors really well and was enjoying the game but once the expansion took over there’s no way to escape it. It was a great game till this part. It’s a horrible system that they added, the expansion part of the game should be separate instead of linked with the main part of the game. So if you want to play it go ahead but trust me as soon as you expand to the other company you will stop playing.

I love this game and have played it way to much and spent way too much money on it. The pacing is wonderful and it manages to keep me wanting to play and I never feel like I can’t progress EXCEPT for the plans. The plans are prohibitively expensive and it takes forever to get any much less the thousands you need to unlock all the floors in a building much less purchase all the floors. Then if you make the mistake I did and expand before unlocking the plans you get trapped at level 5 with weeks upon weeks of waiting with nothing to do. Up to the plans being introduced this game is extremely fun once you introduce plans it becomes unplayable. This would be a five star review if it wasn’t for the plans.

I downloaded a new app and completed every requirement to receive free Flair, even made an in app purchase which was required to receive said “Free” Flair and Nothing !
I contacted support within OfficeSpace and emailed them about the missing Flair. They told me to send a screen shot of my pending flair offers and it said I had none available. They told me to contact OfficeSpace I downloaded, I emailed them and they told me to contact iTunes . Just wanted to let everyone Know you have a 50/50 chance of actually receiving free Flair and be careful if it asks For an in app purchase . There’s Nothing they can or will do to make sure you get the flair .

The game is good and has a lot of levels and things to collect easy game to get addicted to I really enjoyed the game until the flair .......

Started playing the game about a week ago and really enjoyed it but to get anywhere you need to watch ads and download apps and trials to get flair in game currency the first time I did it it worked great it takes you to OfficeSpace Store you download the game and do the instructions to earn flair Great 👌🏻

So I started to grind and do as many ads as I could and noticed I wasn’t receiving anything after doing TONS of research I finally find a way to contact their support and ask them to look into it ......... they gave me credit for one of the many request I did I come to find I have to email them wait three days and then hopefully get credit for each of the flair earning things I do

This is clearly bs they are trying to keep players from getting their credit by making it as hard as possible I will be deleting this game

Save your self the frustration don’t download this game

I have been playing for almost three years and I have really enjoyed the game. However, for the last 6-9 months the developers have put next to no effort into maintaining the game. Weekly events just get recycled from the same time last year. Often events don’t start on time. They haven’t offered extra character packs in 4-5 months. The forums are great with lots of very helpful players but I feel sorry for anyone who starts playing at this point. Sad to see so many seasoned players leaving. Time to look for a replacement game (from anyone other than Kongregate).

UPDATE: Seems to work until I’m doing really well, then gets stuck loading. It’s so frustrating. This ensures I’ll never play another Kongragate game.

So, I’d love to play this game but it’s stuck and won’t complete opening up AGAIN. The ads make it shut down, REPEATEDLY. I tried to reinstall, but all that did was make me lose all of my progress. Then I tried installing the new iOS update and it’s still stuck in the same spot. I’m tired of all the issues, bugs and defects.

If you decide to go ahead and play, I would be wary of spending any money on this one because you’ll probably end up losing all your progress or even worse, not getting to play anymore.

This game is a joke. So the point is to generate money. They have in game currency called flair that you can use to purchase upgrades or more characters with special abilities. The offers you complete to earn extra flair don’t pay out. When you provide actual proof that you completed the offer they just say the advertiser couldn’t prove the offer was completed. Wasting a week to get strong enough in the offered game to do what the offer wants only to be denied isn’t expected. Fair warning that if you get or play this game, do not attempt any offers for extra “flair” you’ll get nowhere with the terrible support from the developers.

The game itself is fun and engaging. Haven’t had much in the way of crashes. However, at the end of the last event the game just stopped saving so there’s no way to save my progress. It appears everyone on the forum is having the same problem yet Kongregate simply refuses to acknowledge anything is wrong. Why create a Technical Support page if you’re going to ignore your customers?
