I’m rating a 5 because you have a quick sign up, have all the movies there, it’s organized well, and you can watch trailers and prioritize. High Five!

We have all been waiting for GFAMMovieChecklist. What a disappointment. It is so slow and clunky to the point of being unusable. I have deleted.

Can’t send a message via Contact Page as it doesn’t trigger keyboard to pop up to be able to fill in the boxes. “The Great Christmas Switch” has “A Hot Cocoa Christmas” synopsis. Not sure why “A Hot Cocoa Christmas” title is even being used as a title when it comes up as “Much Ado About Christmas”. Not registering the percentages yet. And new movies like “Belgian Chocolate Christmas” isn’t on the list even tho made last year & being shown on TV tonight (July 8th).

Going to have a checklist for the other movies for all the other seasons? Been waiting for this since GAC 1st premiered in 2021.

I’v marked numerous movie as I’ve Watched but the list of movies watched still says zero, even though the movies I’ve watched are check-marked in the list view. Tried to use the contact Support feature but the keyboard won’t come up. An OK start, glad there’s finally an app to track the movies, but it’s fraught with problems. Hate to say it, but take a page from the Hallmark app - it’s awesome and works smoothly.

The only thing I am able to do, is to add the movies to my “want to watch” list, and add them to my “watched list.” There is no place, that I can see, that lets you add them to your reminder. Also can’t find what is coming on and what time it is coming on. Guess I will stick with that other channel that lets you know what and when it is coming on.

Does not count my watched movies as watched. Does not take my watches movies off my list. Needs work!!!

I only gave GFAMMovieChecklist one star because I cannot check off Christmas movies I saw from last year, 2022. It also is very slow to update the check off list of some of the movies I’ve seen. How soon will improvements on GFAMMovieChecklist take?

GFAMMovieChecklist doesn’t do all the things it states. All I’m able to do is to add movies from 2021 and 2022 to my list.
*It doesn’t show when the movies will be on.
*It doesn’t show any new movies for 2023.
*There is also no new content on the Home Screen.
So disappointed!

GFAMMovieChecklist is awful! It’s very slow and just not very user friendly.
I could get over the user friendly parts of it but the slowness is just too much

I went to GFAMMovieChecklist but it doesn't offer 2023, just 2021 and 2022.

App preview shows 2023 movies though app has not been updated to include those films.

I was excited when I saw there was an app to follow the movies. When I went to the movies, I’ve already watched it was a very slow and painful process. Walking movies that I’ve watched did not update the want to watch an already watched tabs. Today I’m trying to get GFAMMovieChecklist to send to my calendar and that doesn’t work either. I tried logging out of my account and then I was going to log back in to see if that made any difference with my calendar. I forgot my password and I’ve asked for an email to reset my password five times and I still haven’t received an email. beyond frustrating.

I am unable to click on the movie title to mark it off.

Whats the point if GFAMMovieChecklist doesn’t tell you when the movie will be on.
How can you watch if you don’t know when to watch.
Whoever did this should be fired. Its as if they’re living under a rock.
Get with it.

First of all… I’m thrilled to finally get the checklist app! I hope that it will soon be updated to include all GAC movies, but for now, I’m happy to check off Christmas movies.

Second…. I’m hopeful that this is just the beginning and improvements will be coming soon.

Please consider the following improvements:
1. Add non-Christmas movies.
2. When the movies are checked off they don’t appear in the count.
3. The calendar option is not working
4. Add the streaming or cable service
5. Add reminder option
6. Add an option to select a movie as a favorite

Can we add the other movies that your channel offers to GFAMMovieChecklist please? I’d like to keep track of the ones that I’ve seen all in the same spot.

App doesn’t like my email address. Useless

Please stop forcing a login account in order to view things. The Hallmark app doesn’t make you create an account in order to view upcoming movies.

GFAMMovieChecklist is trying to emulate the Hallmark app but without the shiny touches and ease of use. The add to calendar section leaves you wondering if GFAMMovieChecklist did or will do something.

Thi is the hardest app to use needs to be more helpful don't tell when the movies are on and the add to calendar button don't work somebody needs to check out other apps and see how they work if it doesn't get easier to use snd more helpful i guess i will have to delete unless it get helpful to let me know time and date as to when shows are on and i love the movies

Glad there is finally a checklist app but needs a lot of work. Also need to add all movies not just Christmas movies.

So so. Glad there is an app. Can clearly see they are trying to copy Hallmark. Not very user friendly, and needs to include all movies, not just Christmas ones.

Tried several times ( checked spam) deleted app reloaded nothing. Very frustrating

GFAMMovieChecklist is pretty new and it has a lot of promise. I know it can take time and I’m sure it will get better
I would love to see GAC’s non-Christmas movies added to GFAMMovieChecklist
There is a feature to do reviews but I don’t see any reviews submitted. I’m pretty sure people have probably submitted or tried to submit reviews so either they’re not taking or not showing.
Otherwise I’m pretty happy about GFAMMovieChecklist and excited to see what’s in store for the future!

I just downloaded GFAMMovieChecklist and I ran into a few problems

1. The button that says watch all didn’t add all the movies to my want to watch list. I had to enter each manually and then hit back or the list button then select another movie. Please make this easier, add to list add reminder on calendar.

2. It’s almost September and the summer and fall movies are not listed. Please add all the collections and not just Christmas. I can’t find a list of upcoming movies on your website either. I scroll through all the days on my tv, this is a pain.

3. GFAMMovieChecklist doesn’t seem to have dates yet so nothing was entered into my calendar.

GFAMMovieChecklist is better than having to make a list myself, but it definitely still needs work.

I’m trying to add the 9 I need to watch to my Google calendar and it’s adding all of them on October 20 , each at the same air time as the others. You need to show dates and showtimes on each movie, include all your premieres at least, not just Christmas (but then you’d have to rename GFAMMovieChecklist ) and once I click on a movie I have to click twice to get back out of it. Looking forward to when it’s running smoothly.

I wish you could add the movies to my calendar as a reminder.
I really would like to have non Christmas movies added to the list.

It’s great that you have the movies by year/category, but continually having to click load more to go down the list is annoying, especially when trying to initially set up what you’ve seen vs want to watch. Based on how frustrating it was to click on movie, select, check I’ve watched, hit back arrow (twice vs once) then be brought to top of list to hit more multiple times to get to bottom, I’d say your developers haven’t used their creation. Not sure if plans, but may want to take note of how Hallmark Movies checklist allows you to add all new premieres to your watchlist with one click (vs manually checking off each)

Oh, forgot to add that some of the links to trailers don’t work—get error message

Slow, slower, slowest. I can’t use this all until it gets a serious upgrade. The movie list is agonizing slow to load. The load more takes forever, or doesn’t update at all unless you hit it multiple times.

Don’t even get me started on the painstaking process of adding movies to the “I’ve watched list”… GFAMMovieChecklist needs work to even become useable sadly. As a very wary GAFM fan… aka I really don’t love the movies but I’m willing to give some a chance… I was hoping to find some of the great ones that have slipped through the pile of not good ones at all. But I can’t revisit GFAMMovieChecklist without having a mental breakdown. Hopefully this has a few iterations coming and a major pep in its step…

The ability to add a movie to the Google calendar is great, & I’m glad they have recently added non-Christmas movies. However, there is often a discrepancy between the movie listed for a particular date and the actual movie shown on that date. I believe the network is constantly making changes that are not reflected in GFAMMovieChecklist .

GFAMMovieChecklist is very clunky with lots of back spacing. When you choose a movie that you want to watch you must go back twice to get back to the list. Then the list isn't all showing and every time you have to choose load more.

GFAMMovieChecklist is absolutely not one I enjoy using. It may be a good start on an app but is definitely not ready for release. I suggest you check out your competitors app for some ideas and go back to the drawing board.

GFAMMovieChecklist is great for listing and details but the check box for watched is on the individual page for that movie and it takes 3 more clicks to get. back then the load more button please make this easier to use.

I was super excited when I saw the commercial for GFAMMovieChecklist! GFAMMovieChecklist takes forever to load and every time you click on something it reloads. I recommend making the list scrolling continuous and not just load more.

I really wanted to love GFAMMovieChecklist. But the painfully slow transition been menu choices makes it almost unusable. Anything you click on takes way too long to load in. Hope you fix it soon.

Happy but wish it would run a little faster! Takes so long to go from movie to movie to select “I’ve watched” other than that…is good!

The Great American Family channel, is one of my favorite channels. Is there a way to check movies that have been watched (without setting up a account)?

The newest update added iCal - something I am not familiar with. I can’t add movies to my calendar like I can with the Hallmark app. Please add this feature!

As a movie lover, I’ve been wanting an app for GAC movies for years. I use the apps for several other channels, as well as IMDB, all the time. I keep track of movies I want to see, movies I’ve seen, and have a list of my favorites. I like to use GFAMMovieChecklist to check the schedule for movies I want to see. The glitches make that difficult. It’s a multi step process to add movies to either list (watchlist, or watched). Every time I select a movie and add it, I have to tap the back arrow multiple times, to return to the list. The list also collapses and I have to re expand it. It’s not difficult, just repetitive and not user friendly. I’d also rather see all the movies, not just Christmas and not just by year. I really hope they can get a focus group together, or some app testers, to make some much needed improvements.

The way this is designed makes it very cumbersome to use. Multiple clicks to get to the screen where we can select to add it to the watch list. And then the same to select that we’ve watched it.

Just give us the list of all of the movies and the ability on that list to add the to our watchlist. If we want to click on an individual movie to see more details about it, great. But don’t make us go multiple screens I. Just to add them one at a time. You’re making it way more difficult than it needs to be.

If it stays this way, I may delete GFAMMovieChecklist since it’s too much unnecessary work. And that’s a shame since I want to watch your movies and this would be an ideal way of getting notifications.

So excited to have GFAMMovieChecklist with all movies, not just Christmas. You can read the summary of each movie along with viewing the trailer. You can add it to your watchlist as well, and mark once you watched it (which then removes it from watchlist to watched). I know there’s probably room for improvement and the dates are not updated yet, so you cannot add to your calendar, but what’s vital is there right now and once the kinks are worked out it will definitely be 5 stars.

Love GFAMMovieChecklist to keep track of the movies. However, you have to add a movie, then completely go out to add another movie and you constantly have to click load more and start all over at the beginning every time! Honestly, it’s very tedious and take so long to do.

First of all, GFAMMovieChecklist keeps loading VERY slowly as I go between movies to mark I’ve watched them.

Then, I definitely didn’t see a few non-Christmas movies that I wanted to mark as watched. (Specifically a Valentine’s movie)

Lastly, I would really like a was to mark my favorites. I would love to get notified and watch those again.

I think the concept is a start but GFAMMovieChecklist definitely needs some improvements. I will be glad to reevaluate my review if these things improve in future.

Love the movies, not so much GFAMMovieChecklist . I don’t use google calendar. Making a list is cumbersome and time consuming and GFAMMovieChecklist list to print is not working.

This is a GREAT family alternative to all the junk on tv and social media. I only found the station in the last 6 months but looks like you have been out there offering good movies since 2021. Your movies have good to great story lines, wonderful actors, in general there is moral high ground & inclusion of God. For that I thank you!! Your competition has done a good job on GFAMMovieChecklist side. Perhaps something to learn there.

I had deleted the previous app because it was useless for knowing about what and when any movies were happening. Just found this one and was happy to see there was finally a checklist. Took me over 2 hours to do one Collection of movies! If the back arrow worked it wouldn’t have taken so long. You have to keep reloading each collection for each year. GFAMMovieChecklist is so slow and is frustrating.
It’s a good start but has a long way to go!

I am frustrated and annoyed with how GFAMMovieChecklist works. Clicking on a collection to choose movies to watch or mark them watch takes forever to load - I would chuck that up to my internet but other apps are having no issues. But the biggest annoyance is when you click on a movie then choose what category you want it in ( watched or want to watch) you have to click the back arrow to go back to list not once but twice and each time you have to wait forever for it to stop circling. It really should be easier to check watch or want to watch.

In theory it is great, but having to reload the lists every time when it takes minutes to load is crazy. Hire better talent that can give you an app worth using. Your competitors (more than one) have been able to develop user friendly and quick apps. Don’t do it half way, if so just don’t do it. The frustration I feel trying to mark all of the movies I have watched and want to watch just isn’t worth it. I’d rather keep track on paper as I have been for the past 16 months.

GFAMMovieChecklist is not user friendly at all. They need to take a look at the Hallmark app and make it like theirs.
It takes forever to load anything. No matter what I click on it takes about a minute to 90 seconds to load. You have to keep hitting the loading button to bring up the list of movies instead of just clicking on the Christmas moves and see a complete list. It is so frustrating I just exit out and give up.

I have been waiting for this and gotta say. First - the movies are listed BUT so slow and so many steps to see what they are about and when they are on. ( seriously designers should really LOOK at Hallmark Channel app. Simple —movies or series come up quickly , mark you want to or have seen — easy peasy

Not just cumbersome as mentioned by others, but INSANELY slow. So slow, it renders GFAMMovieChecklist almost useless. A movies should be able to be selected, marked as want to watch (or watched) in about two taps and and screen changes and under five seconds, not the half dozen minimum taps/screens with 5 or more seconds between each. Get this fixed!

I just downloaded GFAMMovieChecklist and went through marking movies. Here is what I encountered:

1) some of the header pictures included the title (most helpful after being interrupted) and some just had a link stating ‘Watch Preview’ (not helpful at all).

2) When finished, I clicked on Discover heading and checked out all the tabs. There is an issue with the Christmas tab. I missed selecting and updating three movies. All three were listed under ‘Watched’ heading. To me they should have been listed under ‘Want to Watch’ or listed above and not under either heading.

3) When I selected ‘My List’, I get 16 movies to watch and 0 watched so naturally the percent would be 0. If I counted correctly, I’ve watched 15 movies and want to watch 16 movies.

4) Not necessarily an issue but very interesting that the debut year listed on some of the movies isn’t the actual year the movie was released.

Also, under settings, an option needs to be added for updating location for scheduling the movies. Currently if someone moves to a different time zone, the current scheduling would not work for them.

And hopefully you will be adding non Christmas movies to GFAMMovieChecklist .

Okay, hate GFAMMovieChecklist is rather strong but it is so frustrating. The multiple taps to select the movie then load more, find a movie, tap it to choose add to watch list tap to add to calendar. Tap back to movie, tap back lo list, start at the beginning and have to scroll all over again including LOAD MORE because it doesn’t go back to where you were. All of this while waiting for the little dancing “loading” balls circling the drain again and again and again… between each tap. After watching a movie choose watched…circling balls again….then tap reviews then tap reviews then tap reviews only to discover they do not work.
Please fix GFAMMovieChecklist. It feels so unprofessional, like it was a grade school programming project. Sorry this seems so harsh but you try using it and see what we mean.

I downloaded GFAMMovieChecklist so I could keep track of movies I’ve seen and want to see etc. you have to open every movie individually and it takes FOREVER to load, then after checking either that I saw it or want to see it, I have to click the back button and wait for the page to load once again! Very frustrating app! The movies should be all seen on one page with buttons to click right there beside the names. You should only have to click to open if you want more detailed info. PLEASE fix this!!! I don’t want to bring up the ‘other’ Christmas movie channel, but their app at least works quickly and is way more user friendly.

Won’t show all the 2021 movies in one view. Must click to expand the list EVERY TIME you go there. Even when you are working on your list back & forth. After adding a movie to your already watched list, you must click back twice to get to the 2021 (or whichever year you are looking at) movies. And then again to expand the list.
It’s a great idea. Just be ready to be patient when using GFAMMovieChecklist
Also WHY DO I NEED TO BE TRACKED TO USE GFAMMovieChecklist !?????!!!!! I SHOULD be able to set my time zone in the settings INSTEAD of being forced to allow tracking!

I love the channel and was excited when GFAMMovieChecklist was finally available. However, it’s worthless. It’s way too slow, and I have to hit back twice to get to the main menu. We shouldn’t have to load more to see all the movies this year. When I loaded more and selected a movie to add to my watchlist, I still had to click “load more” to see the list again. So disappointing.

I want to express some constructive criticism of GFAMMovieChecklist . When I click on movies in a certain year, then navigate to specific movie to note as watched, then I have to click back arrow twice. Then, I have to scroll up, then click show more in the specific year again, then click show more again! It's so aggravating! Can you please just have buttons on each movie title to make it easier to acknowledge them as watched?

GFAMMovieChecklist moves incredibly slow!! And the only way that I have found to add any movies is to click on each individual movie and click add to watch list. But with how slow each click takes to advance you to the next screen, it isn’t worth the time. Definitely need to update!! I need a nap after adding the 2023 Christmas movies to my want to watch list.

Very difficult going from one page to the next. Has to redownload every time I want to mark something watched or want to watch. The movies already watched end up on the top of the list, rather than the ones needing to still review if watched/want to watch. This also take lots of scrolling, slow page downloading, and time. “Watched” movies should go the bottom of the list.

GFAMMovieChecklist is off to a terrible start. There are wayyyy to many taps required to get where you want to go. For example, if I click that I want to see the 2022 movies, I have to hit load more 5 times to see all of them. Then…if I tap into a movie and either add it to my list or click that I’ve watched I have to hit the back arrow 4 times to get back to the list (which also gives you the spinny wheel of death two of those times) and then when I get back to the list I have to hit load more several times again to see all the movies for that year. It took me over an hour and 15 minutes to go through each movie and mark it. You can do better. Especially since your basically ripping off the hallmark movie app. (Which works great, btw.)

This checklist is not user friendly … yet. Adding a movie to the want to watch list requires multiple steps. Movies are grouped by year and these categories are collapsed, so adding a new movie to the want to watch list may require expanding the list 5-6 times. The want to watch list appears in some random order (possibly by release date, but not clear) and can’t be sorted by the date the movie will air next. Needs a lot of improvement!!

First and foremost! GFAMMovieChecklist needs a tick box that selects all to add to the watchlist.
Maybe the release for GFAMMovieChecklist was pushed out too soon? Although similar to the competitor’s aesthetics, details, and layout, it’s nothing like the competitor’s functionality and it takes FOREVERRRRRR to do one movie. It loads, I add, it reloads, then refreshes requiring an additional tap to go back to the prior screen as it saves, then back to the main screen. Complete waste of time for users to appreciate. It should do the work for your viewers so we WANT to USE GFAMMovieChecklist and COME BACK for more. It’s uninspiring and I want to delete it, take my own picture of the “downloadable list” and check it off.

I say this with the utmost love and sincerity for the designers and developers of GFAMMovieChecklist because I want success for you, “Try again. Update it. Viewer use and satisfaction will follow. Please don’t give up, and try again. There’s serious potential here. GFAMMovieChecklist is nearing success.”

They REALLY need to work out some kinks. Very slow app, and it’s not my WiFi. When you want to go back after looking at movie, there isn’t a back button. No keyboard when you fill out delete account reason. I hate to compare you guys to Hallmark, but you need to have a similar interface so it’s easy to use. Please work on this because I am VERY impressed with the channel, but GFAMMovieChecklist is not up to par.
