There is an issue when using an iOS password manager to login on both the website and SternPinballIC, which I’m assuming is just the website loaded to a Swift web frame. When I attempt to login with my stored credentials, the login button grays out as if I had tapped it and doesn’t respond when tapped, effectively making it impossible to login without manually entering your password every time. Will update this review when this is fixed. I don’t know how this got pass beta testing.

This is just a shell for the webpage and works slower. No new features or functionality. Also notifications are not working and half the time it does not remember your login. Skip this version for now.

App will not let me login, just hangs at login screen after information entered.

Doesn’t allow you to sign in at all, most of these other reviews are fake and made by the creators to get you to download. It’s not a real app and it steals your email address. Strongly advise you not to give it your email or download SternPinballIC at all.

can't get past login screen. username and password is ok.

- It took me several tries before SternPinballIC allowed me to log in.
- When I try to do simple things like access my profile, SternPinballIC either loads for a lengthy amount of time, or displays an error message.
- When I restarted SternPinballIC , it displayed the title screen for a lengthy amount of time before telling me my session had expired.
- When I tried to log in again…see point 2.

I think I’ll stick with the website for now.

Very unintuitive interface all-around. I accidentally signed into my kid’s account and couldn’t find a way to sign out other than to delete and reinstall SternPinballIC .

I am currently unable to login on the main screen. However, after clicking "learn more" there is another login button which I am able to login through (exact same email and password). Please fix this critical bug!

I have to constantly delete SternPinballIC and reinstall as it stops working at all after a couple days.

I keep trying to log in but it won’t verify my account please fix🔥🗣️

I assume this has the same functionality as the website, but it took four tries to login before it finally worked, and the performance issues make it impossible to do anything. Perhaps since it was just launched they did not anticipate so many concurrent users. Perhaps the APIs can’t handle enough calls. Regardless, until it is fixed or usage levels out to something it can manage, SternPinballIC is unusable.

I can find a way to log out and into my other account.

I click the QR code on the bottom and it brings up something that doesn’t allow you to actually scan QR codes. Perhaps I have a buggy version but isn’t that the main point of SternPinballIC?

SternPinballIC is basically a wraparound the mobile web site so that brings some quirks but it works decently enough. My only major complaint is the Apple wallet functionality does not work AT ALL not here not in the mobile website, so when I hit the arcade I have to pull up SternPinballIC to login instead of my mobile wallet. Otherwise I wish the UI in SternPinballIC was native and on the iPad it utilized the extra screen real state better. The achievements page is a good example of a phone UI stretched where it should instead have 2 or 4 columns in view to see more at a time.

I’ve been using web version which worked OK but SternPinballIC is extremely slow to open and very sluggish to use - I hope it will be updated.

The last couple updates made SternPinballIC faster and more usable. I think this is a good first attempt and hope it will get better with time.

The layout is a little clunky, it would be nice to have some pages focus on you and then people you follow. Everything seams to be all over and info mixed together.

Would be nice to have more of a focus on the community; show leaderboards, people you follow have leaderboards that group by the same games you have played so you can try to beat each other.

Could be a bit more clear on what is going on with various aspects of SternPinballIC .
Cannot seem to edit content in profile. Get an error message when attempting a change.
Otherwise it seems to work quite well.

Worked fine for me, could stand to be a little more visual like Xbox LIVE achievements. It’s kind of a boring app. Maybe incorporate some animations make it more fun when your not playing pinball.

Thank you for being this to an app!! Creating and maintaining an app like this is a lot of work, good job and I for one look forward to future updates. Don’t let the turkey get you down, this is already 100% better than using the webpage.

Please make a home return from the leader boards as you can’t get out of them once you launch the leader board on SternPinballIC .

SternPinballIC is awesome. You can select a pinball machine and see the instructions for skill shots and gameplay guides. The announcements are neat to keep up to date on new machines coming out. You can track your achievements as well as the stats of other users you follow.
This is a brilliant move by Stern to keep people coming back to pinball!!!

Love it so much

My boyfriend and I started to play pinball pretty frequently and it’s really cool to have an app to record our scores and make it easier to know who is who when playing on a machine together. The achievements are a great addition to playing. Although SternPinballIC is very basic, the simplicity is what makes it appealing to me!

Please add face login.
Typing passwords for two years needs to be just a memory. :)
