New update

If I could give negative stars I would. This new format is way too complex, I prefer the previous version as it was so much more simple. All of my money and accounts have been messed up in the process of transferring apps. I understand adding new features but I don’t get the reason for making mobile banking so complicated. Why should I have to click 5 different buttons just to make a transfer where it took 2 buttons originally. Please go back to the original format or significantly simplify TexellDigitalBanking. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Bill pay

September 2 and we still don’t have our bill pay updated! Been calling since August 29.

Not a good redesign

The old app was a better designed app, easier to read and understand, and easier to navigate. This current design is frankly archaic. Something I’d expect to see 15 years ago when iPhone and mobile banking app’s first appeared on the market. Texell your IT department is failing you.

It’s stupid

All the changes they have made have made it harder to manage, transferring to another member is almost impossible, might as well ask for blood type and their great great grandparents middle name. I don’t know why they tried to fix something that wasn’t broken. I would recommend letting the person go who pitched this idea. So stupid

Not a fan of the new app!

The older versions were much easier to see an overview of your accounts. Now you have to go into each account for details.

Horrible experience.

If I could give it a zero I would! I pay all our bills and am the teacher but I no longer have access to bill pay. My husband and I have a joint account but we now have different member numbers. The whole change is so very frustrating and makes no sense! I am going to start shopping for a new bank.

Horrible update

Used to be a good app that was user friendly and accessible. All of your information was displayed clearly in one page and allowed you to easily access more detailed information.
Now it’s extremely difficult to use and hides all of your information in separate pages. Forcing you to make unnecessary clicks.

Account due dates

The new app does not show next due dates easily. Or all my accounts that I have… requires a lot of digging deeper to find necessary information.
Plus, the member acct #s that I save and transfer to regularly were lost

The former app was way easier to use. This new digital App is too clustered. Too many options that aren’t useful

Why?

Why did they replace an app that worked with this broken app that never updates? I can’t make transfers or even see how much money I have to pay bills.
I never had this issue with the old app.

Horrible update won’t let me access anything

Too chaotic to be useful

TexellDigitalBanking is pretty terrible after the change.

You have to constantly log back in if you want to do anything with the information from TexellDigitalBanking .

You can’t copy and paste the account/routing numbers and **you have to log back in** every time you try to toggle between TexellDigitalBanking and something else. Not intuitive and too many clicks.

It doesn’t list the important details with the accounts. What’s the APY/interest rate? What are the restrictions on the account: can you remove all the money or is their a cap on a debit transaction? How often can you move money in and out of Money Market. Basic questions should be easily accessible in the account information section.

When you go to transfer in different places, it doesn’t actually let you add an outside account. You have to find the specific “transfer” section that lets you add an outside account first. Dumb.

Update is horrible

Take it back to the way it was. The update is horrible. TexellDigitalBanking is not user friendly at all anymore!!!

I absolutely hate the Texell update. It’s pitch black and so many new options. I don’t know why, but had to be updated.

Fixing what is not broke

Why do we have to keep fixing things that are not broke?!?

It is too easy to deposit money or transfer money to the wrong account. In the previous edition of TexellDigitalBanking, you could verify the accounts easier before hitting submit! I do not care for this change.

I miss the old app

The new app is fine, but I really thought the old app had the ideal layout.

v3.7.0 - iOS 17.0.3 - small bugs

When opening TexellDigitalBanking I keep getting a message to update to the latest version even though I have already updated. The message just reroutes me to TexellDigitalBanking Store where I have to open TexellDigitalBanking from since I’m already on the latest version

If I come back at a later time to try and open TexellDigitalBanking from my Home Screen it just never loads and I only see a blank page. I eventually have to close TexellDigitalBanking entirely from my background pages and repeat the cycle stated from above where I reroute to TexellDigitalBanking Store.

IMO - a downgrade

The new app lacks features that I actually used in the old add and seems more difficult to use overall.

Graph Tab

I don’t like the deletion of the graph tab. It was a nice easy way to compare income and expense per month, 3 month etc.
And yes I know about the insights but that just shows expenses.

App overall

This new update is all over the place the old one was easier to navigate on.

Not good for Joint accounts

Please find a way where joint accounts can have their own login rather than just having one

Not for iPhone 7

I can only update my phone to iOS 15.8. TexellDigitalBanking needs iOS 16. In order to use it to get to my bank account I have to buy a new phone. Thanks a lot Texell!!! not everyone can afford the latest phone. you have shut me out of my account.

Please fix transactions!

I like the new app! However it’s very annoying to have to click on each transaction to see what it is. I liked being able to look at the list of transactions in the old app without clicking each one. Please fix this!

I actually really prefer the new app! It’s a lot more modernized, more features and I feel it’s very easy to navigate. I’ve heard from other members that they do not like it but I think after getting used to it and actually using all the new features they will feel the same as me!! Thank you Texell for looking into the future with this!
