Unable to connect to ix500

I have been using legacy ScanSnap but it now locks up when you sync to OneDrive. So I tried this version. It doesn’t connect to the ix500 at all.

Just says “missing connection” when attempting to do from iOS smartphone or Mac. Unclear who or how to contact support. Virtual agent just said “sorry.”

We’ve used our ScanSnap ix500 for years connected wirelessly on our home network to my MacBook Pro laptop and an iPad. Unfortunately, the ScanSnap Home App could not find our ix500 on our home network using my iPhone 13 Pro Max (with latest iOS updates). The app is too poorly constructed to resolve whatever conflict is causing the problem.
