It’s a mess. Stamps don’t get registered. Rewards disappeared. I had 3 last week. This week I have 2. Gail’s even sent 5 stamps as an apology for the poor performance of GAILsBakery , but they never appeared!! What a mess. Tried a day after this review to claim a reward. The shop couldn’t honour it - they scanned the reward and told me it was empty and asked to scan it again. But of course, the reward had disappeared. They wanted to scan a second reward. I refused and just walked out. This is a complete disaster.

While I am a huge fan of Gail’s food and service, I cannot recommend GAILsBakery because the verification function doesn’t work properly. It will not send me a text. I am here in London on holiday from the US, not sure if GAILsBakery doesn’t like international customers or numbers. Hopefully they fix it soon.

A great idea in theory but the execution is awful. Stamps don’t work, or disappear. I’ve had to delete and re-sign up, losing everything. Love Gail’s bakery but if they were going to have an app, I’d hope it actually worked.

GAILsBakery Doesn’t record most of the reward stamps. When the stamps don’t appear, the Gails staff say the stamps will appear later. But they in fact never appear. So don’t expect to ever earn a free coffee or pastry!

Why you insist on verification through sms

When you try to get your account verified on GAILsBakery it’s says it will send a code to your mobile but it never does. I’ve been trying for two weeks with no luck. They’ve sent email apologizing but it still isn’t fixed.

Several days after making account, you are logged out and when trying to log back in they insist on sending a verification code via text that never arrives. Have tried changing password, reinstalling GAILsBakery , and emailing Gails about the problem - no response. App essentially unusable and purchases not counting towards rewards.
