It had potential but it kept saying “forbidden word detected” and I went through my text multiple times. There was nothing inappropriate in any way. I described my character ‘cause I wanted a picture of her.

Well judging by the performance, and the amount of restrictions on it I’d say it’s GARBAGE!

WavesomeAIYearbookPhotos is horrible.

It’s pretty good. I’ve been generating art for the past two days you don’t need to subscribe to something or need to pay. It just keeps generating more art that’s pretty life like, but it wasn’t until an error occurred. It wouldn’t generate more art but considering it let me do it for two days until it broke. it just needs a little more fixing. There’s really nothing that wrong with it.

There’s no choice or hair type. I have curly hair yet it keep generating me with straight hair. I would love for this to be fixed.

Nothing like my face

Wavesome.ai creates some pretty good and realistic art. It absolutely has potential. However there are unnecessary restrictions. Sometimes when you make a prompt WavesomeAIYearbookPhotos tells you “forbidden words detected”, and basically you’re threatened with getting banned. First off - not cool. Second, elaborate on what the “forbidden words” are, that way people can avoid using them. A lot of the time people are just using descriptive words so that they get the ai art they are looking for. Another issue is that sometimes WavesomeAIYearbookPhotos crashes if you’re trying to download a piece of art that somebody made. This is really irritating.

Fortunately WavesomeAIYearbookPhotos does have redeeming qualities such as art it can produce, and the fact that you can just keep making art for free without being forced to fork over money. It just needs some work, and then I think it’ll be a significantly better app overall.

Until they added a “Premium” feature. Yearly, instead of one-time purchase, because of course. With the amount of times I’ve sat through ads you'd think you’d make enough money with that like before, but nope.
Now it’s just like every other AI app. Extremely limited selection, when it all used to be free. Don’t know why they changed it. Maybe I wasn’t aware I was using a beta or something. It was awesome before it became a subscription-exclusive app. 😞

This is actually one of the better image generators that I have seen. Does a much better job with faces and hands than most of the others.
I would easily give it a 5 star rating, except for it’s incredibly over zealous “forbidden word” filter. Apparently, if you type a word that CONTAINS a letter sequence that is similar to one of the evil “forbidden words”, it flags it and you receive the “you could be banned” threat. Never mind that you are NOT typing anything inappropriate or vulgar.
I have wasted more time than I should have to, trying to figure ways to describe what I’m wanting in different ways, in order to get the images I want, without tripping the “forbidden word” filter. The funny thing is, it has generated inappropriate images (never what I have asked for) on more than one occasion but it won’t let me use a word that is similar to an “inappropriate word”.

This is another bait and switch AI App. When I purchased my year long subscription it included unlimited AI art and avatar generation. Today’s 2.0.0 update means that a paid subscription gets you 10 avatar generations every 3 days. The AI art feature (my primary use of WavesomeAIYearbookPhotos ) has been removed. You can purchase additional coins, though it’s unclear what the exchange rate will be as it seems to not be online yet. Until a few hours ago I was recommending this as an alternative to anti-consumer apps. I cannot recommend it now.

I am bald with a full beard. On purpose. I wanted to see my genuine look via AI generation. But Bald with beard is not an option. The first image gave me hair and removed my beard. My goal was to get an AI headshot as myself. WavesomeAIYearbookPhotos is a no for me. It did not look like me.

You have to pay upfront before seeing any results. If WavesomeAIYearbookPhotos works, they should at least display some outcomes on the screen.
