Most importantly, communications are protected using end-to-end encryption, ensuring that no one else (not even Treetop) can see the location updates you share with others.
Treetop uses customizable text to share or schedule updates based on your broader geographical whereabouts, instead of revealing your exact position.
Communications between users are end-to-end encrypted, so only you and the people you share with (and nobody else in between, not even Treetop) can view your location updates.
After arriving, the app notifies you to share an update using customizable text and emoji, but you can also schedule these updates in advance.
