I hate MyChart.

Why does it have to be so difficult to get in touch with a physician or even receive a call back?
Why must test results be entered in your chart but NO ONE has the courtesy to call you to discuss?? I have been waiting over a month for a call. I am not a physician. I need someone to call me to discuss.
I am sure there are many people like me who would love to go back to discussing your health with a physician.
University Hospitals needs to improve their quality of care.

Terrible app

The app is terrible. It sends me notices to make appointments for services and providers that I already made or have already gone to. Some of the messages disappear after reading them and you can’t go back to review them. If they are there somewhere, the app is too difficult to navigate to find them. My wife was sent a notice to get a liver bile duct biopsy. She was having breast cancer surgery and she had to argue with the doctors office that she didn’t need it. The doctor said “ you don’t need that”. Then why is it in my chart? It is the worst app. The only thing worse is that UH is cashless. During breast surgery my wife got prescription pain pills and we were required to pay for them by credit card at the time of surgery. It was 42 cents! 42 cents on my credit card! I had 42 cents in cash but they would not take it. So stupid. Whoever is making these app and payment decisions doesn’t actually use them or they would use some common sense when implementing.
Now the app wants me to put in a nickname and anything I put in is already taken no matter what ridiculous word I put in! Screw this!

No Apple Health integration, won’t stay logged in for long

I was excited UH a was getting with the program with a more modern health app but this version of MyChart leaves a lot to be desired. Disappointed there’s no way to export your results into Apple’s health app, there’s a trove of information I’d love to be able to share with my other apps. Other health systems have their MyChart apps able to do that, UH has it disabled. The app is also very quick to sign me out - I have to re-authenticate and sign back in every 5 minutes; frustrating when you’re in the middle of writing a message to your provider.
