My wife and I watched the first 3 seasons without a single issue. We bought several dvd’s of each season to give to people to watch and pass along because they were so powerful and brought the stories to life. Then the writers strike happened. Everyone waited. Then the split with the studio. Then only in theaters and finally another app is available and we watch the first episode no problem and start the second immediately after and the whole episode glitched. We restarted, etc but it stayed the same so we just finished it. We’ve been trying to watch episode 3 for 3 weeks now and I’ve about given up. I clicked on all the support links and the final “click here” link gives a 404-file not found. I feel like this is purposeful and I really hope thats not the case like other things that started out pure until someone got greedy…My iPhone is new, is up to date, full bars and super fast wifi. Why would the first one be perfect and then the rest just go 🫠

I am a HUGE fan of the show (5+ Stars)! Support it sooo very much with purchase of products and love of the show. It has literally changed my life. I do not say that lightly.
Now for my reason for the one star. It is for the new app only. I have downloaded it on my Fire Stick and my IPhone 14. Can’t watch it. On the Fire Stick it is so glitchy. I hear Dallas repeat the same thing over and over again. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. Rebooted my TV and the Fire Stick. No change. On my phone while in the middle of the livestream it kicks out to the title page and can’t get back to the video without shutting down and going back in. And it does it again within seconds. Again, I uninstalled and reinstalled. No change. This is quite devastating for me as I want to watch the livestream and the after show. :(

In todays society the 🌈 is used to represent the celebration of homosexuality. Although we are not to judge one another, in the Bible homosexuality is referred to by the Lord as “an abomination” . We all fall short of the glory of God, as Christian’s we know this, but when you claim to have a network where millions of faithful people “pay it forward” to bless others, and Angel studios then makes a political stand directly SUPPORTING sin by displaying the LGBTQ flag IN YOUR MOVIE STUDIO, it is a slap in the face to Jesus and those who love & believe in His teachings!! If you recall, the ORIGINAL rainbow was a promise from GOD to never flood the earth again, and protect His followers in the future—the true rainbow had absolutely NOTHING to do with PRIDE!! I prayed about what to do, then went back and read the mission statement of your studio—it mentions that “Angel Studios wants to bring light to the world. “ And that’s when it dawned on me, LUCIFER was known as an “angel of light” . I am deeply saddened at the hypocrisy & deception behind Angel Studios, and it’s collaboration with the Mormon LDS church. I will never again support or view the productions of this “Christian” studio.

I love the chosen it’s my comfort show and I am constantly rewatching it but the new upgrade ruined TheChosen . It asked me to sign in again I gave my email and password to which it said my password was incorrect (I know it isn’t I had it written down) but I just went ahead to do a new one only for it to tell me my email doesn’t exist. I thought that was weird but figured maybe I was wrong and I didn’t sign up for the Chosen app but rather i confused it with my Angel studios account. I tried to create an account where it told me I already have an account under that email. It was very back and forth and frustrating. I know it’s simple enough to just watch as a guest but I’m hoping this doesn’t become a recurring issue every time TheChosen is updated.

I’ve had TheChosen on my iPhone and FireTv’s since it was released. I LOVE The Chosen and am so grateful to watch this beautifully developed show showcasing our Lord Jesus and His students. Lately TheChosen has become glitchy. No matter which episode, the picture wants to zoom in and You have to back out of the episode and Go back in to get it to view the correct size. The controls for play, pause, fast forward or rewind won’t work on the FireStick or Fire Tv remote anymore. The circle control on the remote works but not without effort. You have to go up and down several times on the circle to get TheChosen to notice and then you can pause, play, etc. They video also glitches but the sound is right. It’s distracting but I still mess with it so I can watch. It does this on every Fire Tv or stick we have so I know it’s not the remote. Also, my other media apps work correctly. Please update TheChosen . Thank you for to everyone involved with The Chosen! Good Bless You All!!

I watched the live stream and preordered the new app. When it first downloaded on my iPad and phone, I could see the deep dives for season 2, which previously weren't available. I can’t do so anymore. TheChosen changed and will only show in portrait mode and doesn't allow me to cast the show.
I also have both Roku and Apple devices. TheChosen isn’t anywhere on either one, just the old Angel app. I've written to help twice and no one has replied. I even sent text messages to no avail. The new “Come and See” app is nowhere near as good as Angel, and much of the info isn’t even included.
That said, I absolutely love the show and give it 5 stars (more if I could). But TheChosen is abysmal and even though I've paid for others to watch free, I can’t find a way to get early access to episodes as it states you can. Five stars for the show, two for TheChosen .

Talking about TheChosen in general and the functionality, it needs more work when it comes to iPad. It desperately needs a landscape view for the episodes menu. It is insanely annoying to have to flip the iPad to pick an episode and then flip it back when it starts to play. I know, first world problems but it seems like it would be an easy thing to program in. Please work on adding this. Also, I would love to see TheChosen available for the Xfinity X1 platform or even Chromecast or Roku.
As for the show it is amazing!! My wife and I pick an episode to watch over dinner every chance we get. I love how it makes Jesus and the disciples more relatable to everyday life. I understand that the show IS fiction but it also tries to keep all biblical elements factual. We are excited and anxious for season four. Thank you Dallas and all the team members for making such a life changing show. We love it!!!

1- It would be best if the iPad app opened in whatever “rotation” format we have it at the moment. It’s always set to portrait and most likely, everyone uses the iPad on landscape format to watch the videos. It might not sound like much but when we use the iPad as a laptop with or without external keyboards, it’s usually in landscape mode and it’s annoying to turn it around to get through the menu. It could just work with the iPad’s rotation feature, and if that’s too much work, then maybe just make it landscape as the default. 2- All the apps need to save preferences between episodes. It’s a bit annoying to set captions every time we move to the next episode. Sometimes I watch while people in my family are sleeping and it’s easier with subtitles. Specially for those who need different language subtitles too.

I love this program. It is a wonderful dramatic representation of the gospels. The acting and directing is the best I’ve ever seen. There is one small problem and it’s with the latest upgrade. It’s not working properly on iOS now and I’m not sure why. I can still hear the programs but sometimes the visual disappears, or the program “locks” up where does not respond to pausing, fast forwarding or backing up. I only hope it’s not related to something the operating system on our devices are causing. If the problems continue I may have to switch to something other than iOS to see if it works better on another operating system. I hope that’s not the case as I’ve used iOS devices for years and have always liked their functionality.

I’m disappointed that I have to login every time I switch from watching Live TV or another app back to The Chosen app. I was watching The Chosen app on the living room TV, exited out of the partially watched episode back to the menu and powered off the TV. I turned on the bedroom TV where The Chosen app was still the first thing since it had been the last thing watched. It asked for a login again and it started the episode from the beginning instead of where I had left off. I was able to fast forward ISH to where I had left off in the living room and finish the episode. It would have been so nice not to have to login again and I hope it won’t continue being necessary. Also it would have been great for the episode to begin where I had left off. Most other streaming apps do that automatically and don’t require extra logins. Better fast forward and rewind controls would be greatly appreciated as well please and thank you.

Christian movies, shows and music… and apps, are sadly often bland, low quality or don’t work well. Usually because of a vastly low budget due to the world doesn’t care to support something without sex, violence etc.
This is not the case with The Chosen, the show or TheChosen . I am on my fourth watch through. The show is 10 out of 5 stars! TheChosen is 5 stars. It does have one tiny problem… the pause, rewind ff is a touch clumsy. But TheChosen plays perfectly, never hangs up or crashes and it’s my preferred way to watch. You can even download if you use TheChosen .
If you haven’t watched the show it will encourage the discouraged!

So I downloaded TheChosen and I’ve been going through and watching the seasons. I love how when you watching a season it just transitions smoothly from one episode to the next. You don’t have to get out of the old episode and click on something to get into the next episode. It seamlessly just starts the new episode for you which I think it’s awesome. I have had absolutely zero problems with TheChosen so far and I’ve been using it on my phone, on my laptop and streaming it through my smart TV. I have completed season one and I am almost done with season two. What an amazing and inspiring TV series! TheChosen is super! Outstanding job!

As many others have attested to before me, "The Chosen" has spiritually and Biblically helped me grow closer to the Lord! I feel that I know Him in a new and profound way! It is SO RELATABLE to our own lives which makes it even more meaningful. Getting to know the disciples (with REAL personalities that are sinful, humorous, enlightening, and remarkable) also add to this series immensely! I love reading about how this series has changed the lives of so many, and has opened "new" hearts to Jesus! Praise the Lord! Thank you to all those (starting wth Dallas Jenkins, and including the actors and all behind the scenes) who have made this possible! God truly gave you a vision, and you are following it! Amen!

I got a bad cold and had the chance to finally sit down and watch this series I heard so much about. I watched every single eposide of all three seasons and cried through most of it. This series makes Jesus so relatable and shows us his life on earth as well as his disciples and all that they went through that I would never have actually been able to picture without this film. I feel so much closer to Jesus beacause of this series. Thank you Dallas for making this series and I cannot wait for Season 4 and am going to tell everyone about this series. God Bless you all.

I have always struggled to fully understand the gospels. The Chosen has helped me make sense of so much and sparked my desire to dig deeper in the scriptures like never before! I am on pins and needles waiting for the next season to begin. I cannot wait to see what I learn.
Being able to see what Jesus’ personality was possibly like was very interesting. I would like to think He was relaxed and even charismatic. I love that he is portrayed as an empathetic and caring savior.
I literally watch each season over and over and learn more each time. I have begun to watch the episodes as I study the gospels now, the words in the scripture speak to me…deeply, differently, and drive me to want to know more to understand how it all relates to my life today.
I find myself wanting to do nothing but study the Bible. The Chosen, in part, is responsible for this drive.
If you have yet to give this series a try, you have nothing but a little time to lose and possible everything to gain. The heart behind the development of the series is everything.

Really enjoy both the “show” and dolly enjoy the round table sessions even more as after reading the Bible in a year 2 yrs in a row now and working on my 3rd besides completely changing my life; I now have a new appreciation for the Old Testament and Jewish Law/Mosaic Law - and am enjoying most hearing from the Rabbi who believes in Jesus Christ. So since I’m only 1 season into it here this far; will be talking my cues from him and the other pastors as to what’s biblically correct and what’s “Hollywood” as the author:writer of this series admits he’s embellished with an over riding larger story arc that I pray doesn’t distract from Zgids word. Some could argue that you didn’t need any more but he’s opted to add additional characters into the mix. So I’m giving it 5 stars for now but if it heads off the rails I’ll be the first in line to share my objections over anything that’s just not right.

1. TheChosen is great and runs really well.
2. Yes at times the show takes its own interpretation into the people of the Bible and their relationships between each other and with Jesus, but this is only to make a show and in no way is to disrespect the Lord or the Gospel.
3. If you are having trouble reading the word or if you read the word daily this show will make you want to read it more. If it’s because you want to check if something is true or even if it’s because something in the show happened and you want to read about it in the Holy Bible you will be spending more time in Gods word.
4. It’s great to see Gods word play out before your eyes in a way never seen before.

I can’t believe I was led to see this! WOW, a friend of mine was telling me all about it. I was bored one night and thought ok I will watch it and see what she was saying. Oh my gosh I was blown away! I at first thought ok it’s going to be one of those shows that I e seen before where they don’t really get the scriptures right, but I was so blown away! I love this show and it has really opened my eyes and has made me so much closer to God! I have always believed in God and have always had faith in my Father, but this has really really changed me a lot!
Thank you for making it and sharing it with the world!
Thank you thank you!

I cannot express the joy and freshness The Chosen has brought to my walk with Christ. The realities of the disciples lives and their relationships with Jesus many times puts me ‘right there with them’. I have to remind myself often ‘which side’ of the cross THEY are on and which side I am on. Right now I am fascinated by how I am endeared to Judas just as the disciples are. As we ALL get closer to the cross, from their perspective and for us this side of the cross, I believe ALL of us are going to see new things as we ALL look at that horrific scene through the disciples eyes. It is going to take us to new depths of soul and examination. At this point I simply say ‘Thank you Dallas, thank you❣️Thank you for saying YES to Jesus about THE CHOSEN❣️

I love the series and have been following it since day one. The storytelling and production quality are outstanding. However, I have a suggestion for improving TheChosen experience. Currently, TheChosen only supports landscape mode when playing videos in full screen. It would be greatly beneficial if TheChosen also supported landscape mode during browsing and navigation. Many users, myself included, use their iPads with a keyboard attached, treating them like a laptop computer. Restricting TheChosen to portrait mode outside of video playback limits functionality and convenience. Enhancing landscape mode support would significantly improve usability. Thank you!

I really have grown to love this show. My wife and son watched it right after the first season with the other conformation students at our church. I didn’t start watching until probably about half way through Season 2, and I’ve been hooked since then. I have watched The Shepard and The Messengers, loved them. I have also watched the Gen Z reaction video and was blown away by their views and reactions to the show. This show really is made for everyone and of all ages. I’m so excited for more people to get hooked to it and maybe even start donating through the come and see foundation so we as a community can see all 7 seasons that Dallas has planned for us.
I also really would like to see the interest get so unbelievable that Dallas starts working on Acts and even some Old Testament like Moses and Noah. It would be an even better existence down here if we had the whole Bible in a visual form. Get used to different and come stir the water with us.

I love all the content on TheChosen but Angel Studio’s The Chosen is a fictional show depicting how the actual Biblical account “could” have happened. It is not meant to replace the Bible as the inerrant Word of God. Kind of like a show or book about an incident in history. It’s meant to help the watcher or reader to get a feel for what life would have been like then and what the characters might have been like. We know the apostles were human. Simon Peter WAS married. They were not angels or supernatural but sometimes we get the idea they were. I don’t watch as a replacement for Gods Word. I watch because it gives me a better historical understanding of what life was like as a believer in the first century. I think The Chosen does a beautiful job of that.

Many shows IMO can keep people going from episode to episode to see what happens next. Few viewing experiences of my life have been life-changing. I’m receiving such blessing from this series, not just the episodes and each series as their whole, but the production stories told and biblical discussions about Jewish culture from both Old & New Testament perspectives as well. The portrayal of the lives of Jesus, His disciples and family gives me deeper personalization after having read the Bible more than once. If you are a skeptic, that’s fine. Give this a try—get The Chosen app and start streaming. It is so well done I’m confident you may find yourself REALLY looking forward to the next episode! And for what it is worth, every time I check the content by what Scripture states, it is accurate. I personally trust the extent to which the production team went to do just that.

I was saved last year and this show helps me read my Bible since I’m a visual person. And I can remember passages better! It reminds us that God made the ultimate sacrifice by saving us, showing us the WAY and becoming human himself, rising from death and doing what no other moral man could do, walk among us resurrected proving God’s love! Thanks to all who have made the effort and the artistry that goes into helping us visualize Christ and build an even closer relationship with God. Thank you Jesus.
It would be awesome to see these type of series continue with the Acts of the Apostles and their historic stories. The Old Testament stories would also make excellent content too! The world needs less worldly entertainment and more Godly guidance!

I am so grateful to still have access to this beautiful story. I look forward to watching all the remaining seasons! However, I just downloaded TheChosen on my TV and here are a few bugs I noticed if they can be fixed:
1: It’s not a big deal, but can you create a “stay logged in” option? In a similar way that would happen with Netflix or Disney. Every time I open TheChosen on my tv I have to re-log in without my password or screen name remembered.
2: The bigger issue is with the pause. If I press pause I’ve noticed the audio will still continue even if the picture is frozen. It also started me at places I haven’t reached yet in the story when I press play again. It even continues the audio from the point where it paused even though it advanced in the story? The only way to get the audio to stop playing was to close TheChosen completely.
Other than that I haven’t noticed anything negative. I enjoy all the hard work you’ve put into telling His story. God bless!

I have been a believer my whole life, graduated from Bible College, study scripture daily. I was a bit concerned when I was told by an acquaintance that I should not watch it because it has portrayed some Catholicism and Mormonism. Although I am along the path of Charismatic/Pentecostal, I do not like Christ believing people and churches attacking each other. That is the works of the enemy to divide and conquer. Know the Bible (it is God's Word), worship and give God and Jesus praise with thanksgiving, educate others, follow the Holy Spirit's promptings, and love one another as commanded. God loves all and wants all to spend eternity with Him. How is that going to happen if we reject others?

Thank you for this great app! I love that TheChosen is dedicated to The Chosen TV show and related extras and bonus content. I love that the show is completely fan-funded and I am thankful to have been able to pay it forward for others in U.S. and around the world to watch for free. I binge-watched season 1 for free thanks to others’ generosity before I could jump in to pay it forward. The streaming quality is great! Get TheChosen! You will be glad you did! **When was the last time you binge-watched a show that is not only enjoyable, but actually good you-even life changing? This is that show.

I have seen many movies about Jesus since I was a child and this show has really been live-given! My 14-year-old loves it and has been impacted by it. It allows us to see Jesus and His disciples as real people and not just characters from the Bible that we have no connection to. Although the show’s intent is not to follow exact stories found in the Gospels, they do allow us to see the Bible characters as real. That they did live real lives that the Bible did not capture. Love the show and I am so thankful for all of those that have been part of its making. Thank you!!

There is a revolution happening in our country and in our world. TheChosen is just the beginning. I grew up in the Catholic Church and fell away for quite a while. Having come back recently, TheChosen has helped me understand, envision, and truly appreciate the stories in the Bible. I have found myself more excited and being able to relate to the commentary at church. I’ve binged watched all three seasons, and so far my favorite character is Matthew. A tax collector who is chosen to be one of the 12. There’s nothing we cannot do if we have Jesus in our heart. Must watch. Please download. Enjoy. God bless!

I really love this show. I’ve been walking with my Lord Jesus for 47 years since I was a teenager and I’ve never seen a portrayal of Christ and the Bible anywhere near as good as this show. I love the content that fills in the parts that Scripture doesn’t reveal that truly seem plausible. It makes me want to go read my Bible more. With all the horrible stuff going on in the world and in the news right now, I just love sitting back and enjoying The Chosen episodes to calm me down, almost every night. I never get tired of it! The writing, the acting, the music is all so incredible! I love it! The Chosen is a MUST SEE!!!

Since my brother in Christ shared this with me at church one time, I have been impressed with the authenticity with which the producers present the Gospel. As a man of the Scriptures myself for over 30 years, I am impressed with the amount of effort in research and in prayer that this team does to try to get it right. And where the Gospels are not specific about a certain event, the team makes very reasonable and believable choices to “fill one the gaps”. Watching this show takes me back to the 1st Century, and the episodes never get old! Thanks so much to the team for all that you do!

No matter where you’re at in your journey with Christ—whether you’re one of the many people in the gospels who encountered Jesus after a horrific past without Him, or you’re a Nicodemus who’s been a lifelong member of the God team—Jesus proved over and over that we have so much to learn and innumerable traits that need change.
I’ve been a believer my whole life, I’ve attended Christian schools my whole life, and I’ve heard the stories of Jesus countless times.
I've heard the stories before, and many Jesus projects just take you from Bible story to Bible story, not spending as much time on the humanity and backstories of all these characters.
So when we started to write a show that explores Jesus through the eyes of those around Him, we were repeatedly moved and excited.
The Chosen is the first-ever multi-season TV show about the life of Jesus.
I’ve also seen every Jesus movie and miniseries ever made, and there have been dozens.
No matter where you are in your journey with Jesus Christ, this TV show is for you.
When I see Jesus movies, it’s sometimes hard for me to feel moved or excited.
We hope this show allows you to see Jesus as they did.
We explored the backstories of Simon Peter, Matthew, Mary Magdalene, Nicodemus, and a few of Jesus’ miracle recipients, and in turn experienced Him in the way they did.
We couldn’t help but identify with their recklessness, rough pasts, religious piety, and desperation for life change.
See the record-shattering series about Jesus that has a 9.9 on IMDb.
Created outside of the Hollywood system, The Chosen allows us to see Him through the eyes of those who knew Him.
Because I have a passion for people to hear the “old, old story” again … for the very first time.
