Horrible

Indeed is practically worthless. Functionality is clunky and frustrating. If I didn’t need it I wouldn’t bother with the struggle. 😩

Update — the more I use Indeed, the more I can’t stand it. Horribly unresponsive. Can’t wait to delete it! I’ll use a different one for future hires. I’d give it zero stars if I could.

Most useless app every

Only lets me see prospective employees I’ve messaged. I need to see resumes…. I will delete this piece of junk and maybe use another job app next time. There’s too many things going on online with I deed anyway. Tons of distractions keeping me Fromm doing my job.

Lacking features

Indeed has so few features. Super disappointed in how basic this is. Nothing more than messaging and seeing the applicants resume. At least add some of the more popular features from the website.

It takes away functionality

When I pause a job post, this app connect won’t let me view candidates anymore. But when I try to access this through Safari, it just kicks me over to Indeed . So basically, once you pause accepting new applications, you can no longer see current applicants on your phone in any way unless you delete Indeed.

It doesn’t work.

I’m a tech savvy person and know it’s no user error. Indeed doesn’t work at all.
I sign in and it tells me I can’t view my job postings.
I want to be able to see applicants while not at my computer and weed them out, but Indeed doesn’t function so I can’t.
You would think a company that it tech based would have a flawless app, yet here we are.

Worthless App

I don’t understand the point of Indeed. It has almost no functionality, I can’t see new candidates that I haven’t already messaged, I can’t use this app through my phone browser because it just keeps kicking me back to Indeed. I deleted it. this app already has terrible functionality, I’m not surprised their app was even worse.

Needs Improvements

This is a very basic app to just view the recent chat between you and potential candidates. Not much options for viewing and filtering candidates etc. Even the chat has very limited options.
Not much of a use.

Simple features not consistent with web experience

Indeed is simple. And I love that. Until yesterday, loading someone’s resumé was non-existent. Seems like that bug and format was fixed.

However, I add about 3-4 custom questions for each applicant to answer. They are softball questions, like, ‘what are your short term and long term goals?’ and ‘where would you like to vacation?’

When someone applies now, I get a standard email and I can see the custom questions answered right in a one-page review before I even go into the this app web platform. Would be so easy to add this into this app Connect.

I don’t care about the answers to my questions, but it weeds out about 50% of lame applicants that upload a resume and apply to 10 other job positions that this app recommends they apply to.

Help us (employers) help you. this app is a great platform, but if you could help us more easily weed out candidates that were unresponsive, robotic, and lacked bare minimum human behaviors and skill sets, it would give us a leg up to hire quality leads and appreciating the quality of the platform more than the quantity it provides. Just makes us work more.

Not as functional as could be

Too many things cut off. For example screening questions can’t read the entire thing. Scheduling interviews when go to type link or message to candidate the keyboard blocks everything with no way to scroll down and see where you’re typing making it impossible to send interview invite over iPhone , I need to go out of app and use browser. App could have a lot more functionalities like shortlisting candidates and seeing/easily accessing those different buckets.

Job details?

this app has issues across all of their platforms that make it difficult to navigate as an employer. Indeed is no different. When you have a job posting on the screen and click the three dots, then “job details,”.. there is nothing but a spinning icon. I need to see what the details of my own posting are, from Indeed .

Missing Filtering and other functionality from website.

It would be so much more useful if I could mark a candidate as a potential match. Also, can’t see the full answers to my questions to applicants. Why?

Some features are unusable

Having an app like this is ideal for those of us that are always working on the go, and rarely have time to sit down at a computer. Indeed offers hope, but is a real letdown as far as being functional. For example the option to set up an interview, doesn’t let you scroll down to complete the form…making that function useless. Many other examples. The entire app needs tested.

Did anyone test this before release?

Many functions don’t work.. to add to the list of items below: pdf’s are illegible and not downloadable or openable… I can’t review anyone’s resume.

Also, I have to click through so many links to get to the active applicants, and as you scroll the back button disappears while the big X on the top stays, so I continued to accidentally close out and have to start over.

Limited functionality

Indeed doesn't actually do much. It would be nice to be able to quickly sort or classify applications as they come in. Also, Indeed is pretty buggy. Often I get a notification to view a new application, but after viewing the application and returning to the list, the new applicant doesn't appear on the list.

Helpful but still some kinks to work out

Helpful app for quick glances, wish I could pause or close jobs from Indeed though and not have to go to the website on safari. The drop down menu is there that makes it look like you can change the status but other choices don’t show.

Worth downloading, but limited use

This is great for reading and sending quick chats to candidates, but none of the message templates are available. This means you are typing on the fly, and isn’t conducive to first contact messages.

Templates

I cant access any of my templates, but its nice to use after I send my initial response through the website.

Nice look but some glitches

Indeed is a much more streamed than the website but the chat feature doesn’t allow you to see the text you are typing while your typing it. So it rather annoying having to go back and forth to the keyboard and text box. Hope they can fix this glitch.

Definitely gotten way better

Indeed is way more useful now than it ever has been. My only recommendation is that they make it update between phone and computer to show that they are not still “awaiting review”. When I message them on the phone the computer still shows that it has not been reviewed and the applicant still needs to be contacted.

Nice app - gets the job done

Has a simple interface for messaging or calling candidates while on the go. I’m impressed!

Sam Aryeh / Indeed Review

I am beyond grateful for the this app platform. It has helped me build and scale multiple businesses with such ease. Highly recommended!

New Business Owner

Very fast results after verification

Easy to Use

I like that they also email you the applicants’ answer to the questionnaire for record.

Long awaited, much appreciated

So glad to finally have a mobile integration of the hiring platform. Only thing I’d love to see is a screen to review screener questions. As it is right now you can only see resumes

Business

Helps me man my business, stay organized and save time

Great to respond on my phone

I’m so grateful this app went back to an app to communicate with applicants on the phone. Indeed functions well & I have enjoyed the ability to access my job position anywhere.
