IndeedConnect is simple. And I love that. Until yesterday, loading someone’s resumé was non-existent. Seems like that bug and format was fixed.
However, I add about 3-4 custom questions for each applicant to answer. They are softball questions, like, ‘what are your short term and long term goals?’ and ‘where would you like to vacation?’
When someone applies now, I get a standard email and I can see the custom questions answered right in a one-page review before I even go into the indeed web platform. Would be so easy to add this into Indeed Connect.
I don’t care about the answers to my questions, but it weeds out about 50% of lame applicants that upload a resume and apply to 10 other job positions that indeed recommends they apply to.
Help us (employers) help you. Indeed is a great platform, but if you could help us more easily weed out candidates that were unresponsive, robotic, and lacked bare minimum human behaviors and skill sets, it would give us a leg up to hire quality leads and appreciating the quality of the platform more than the quantity it provides. Just makes us work more.
