App used to be great. Now it crashes after update

I can’t access my accounts easily like I used to. Ever since I updated it, it crashes on login. I have to use web browsers anytime I want to view my accounts or transfers. Super inconvenient. I even updated my IOS to the most recent version to see if that would fix it, and still crashes on login every time, even after multiple reinstalls.

If it worked

I absolutely love FibreFederalTLCCreditUnion and the convenience!! I have gone into the bank before when it was not working... realizing how convenient it was when it worked! I Love being able to deposit my check, check transactions, transfer money without even having to come in. It saves time and allows more time for me for other things!! BUT it has been very difficult... it works sometimes but I would say more than half of the time it doesn’t. I will go to check what I have in there or deposit check or just account balance so I don’t go over.. or just to transfer to pay another account.... and it doesn’t work! Very frustrating. I will have to wait until FibreFederalTLCCreditUnion is up again which can take days and as some things are time sensitive this is not so convenient... would love it even more if it works!!!!

Prefer old site

Every time I log on , not to mention ,it takes longer for me than the old site. I thought it was my internet, until I tried it elsewhere. Anyway when I log in it keeps taking me to bill pay first. I have tried deleting site and downloading it again, obviously to no avail. The frustration is mounting and if I didn’t have so much linked to my account, I’d probably bail. By the other reviews I appear to be the only one with this problem. Oh and BTW this complaining has nothing to do with the personnel or the bank itself, just looking for a resolution. Any ideas ?? Thank you in advance.

What happened to the friendly, courteous and helpful TLC

Long ago TLC and Fibre were wonderful friends. Now the are an extension of overbearing, controlling and inconsiderate government bureaucracy.

They’ve frozen my account without notice several times. They’ve prevented me from modifying my bill payments under the guise that I’m a senior citizens and don’t know how to manage my account.

When I talked with the 20-something head of security she told me I’m not competent to manage my account, so she’s taking control.

I thought this was arrogant so I wrote the President of Fibre, he didn’t respond and I received a nasty call from the security girl.

My account has now been under her control since August 2018.

When I met with friends at the senior center they had the same complaint. We thought it was only in Tillamook. We called friends in Lincoln City and learned they too have been subjected to this same person.

We are All now, looking for another bank.

Good bye TLCFCU.

Ongoing card problems

I’ve been with this group for over a decade, and the last 3 years has been filled with avoidable problems. Almost every time they have sent me a new card there’s something wrong with it: they printed the number wrong or they forgot to cancel the old one. Yesterday the bank cancelled the current card despite them receiving back the replacement over a month ago. There was no announcement we were getting new cards outside our regular cycles, and certainly no information notifying me of the old card’s expiration once they were made aware the mail was not delivered.

Incredibly disappointing and negligent, especially in this economy. Your unlucky customer service employees are kind and attentive to trying to explain the situation. However, even this is curtailed by their inability to fix an error that continues to grow larger. I am now forced to wait until Monday losing wages to have the local branch listen through another long explanation and hope the reprint can get done in a timely manner.

If there are any more issues I will be finding another place to manage my finances.

Improved

The new app is a big improvement over the old one. When signing in it on my phone the dialog box was so small on the old application that I couldn’t see if I was typing correctly or not. This one is larger and easier to see. The new app also supports fingerprint ID making logging in by typing unnecessary.

They will help you with any situation you’re going through through anything have casual conversation all around good people and you’re always treated with respect they help you resolve any situation you’re going through and if they can’t do it, they direct you to who can get a five star plus for me. I have fiber Federal bank account!

I enjoy the kind people who work for Fiber Federal. I have never had problems talking to anyone who work the bank. I enjoy knowing I have had fiber federal since I was in Elementary school. It seriously keeps one less stress in my life. Thank you for the security and integrity in all you do and train your employees. I also appreciate those who are good at math and good with people.

FFCU is THE BEST!

After 45 years with Bank of America, never getting any perks are being able to reach them easily, we recently switched to FFCU. What a difference! Always able to talk with a person, and a friendly person at that! We’ve successfully refinanced our car and RV, as well as our home. Everything has been super smooth sailing! We can’t say enough good things about FF see you and look forward to years of working with them.

App malfunctions constantly; visually unappealing

FibreFederalTLCCreditUnion often malfunctions. Often times I will get error messages saying the servers are busy, proxy error, or an unexpected error has occurred. On top of that, FibreFederalTLCCreditUnion is poorly designed from a visual perspective. The layout is difficult to manage and many of the buttons lead to outside links.

Mobile deposit fails

I am never able to deposit a check without being logged out no less than 3 times! I am always attempting to take the picture of the check and it tells me that it times out! Every time!! I have never been able to deposit a check on the first try!!!!!

19 years of banking

I’ve banked at Fibre for 19 years and Within that time frame I’ve only had two complaints. 1. I didn’t feel I should be charged $30 to stop a transaction, that seems a little ridiculous and 2. I’m limited to 6 mobile transactions and then I need to come in. One of the points of having this is to make things more accessible, easier and less of a hassle. 🤷🏻‍♀️ however I have to say that only having two complaints in 19 years of banking with Fibre is pretty dang good.

Great option for easy banking

I had to leave my husband and start new after he drained out accounts. I was able to do everything online, including starting my account! It’s been really nice to not have to worry about who can access my money.

Fibre Federal Credit Union has helped myself and my family with our financial needs. The staff are always friendly, knowledgeable, and always go above and beyond to meet our needs. Thank you for all you do! You just don’t see this level of great customer service anywhere else! Deborah

Updated and efficient!

They finally updated FibreFederalTLCCreditUnion and this version is everything I hoped for! If you ever tried to use their old version and weren’t happy with it, trust me and give this one a chance. I called and they helped me set it up quickly, and I’ve had no issues. It has made my life so much easier.

So glad I picked the best credit union to fulfill all my banking needs and the Mobil deposit is a blessing since I work all over I can do all my banking needs from FibreFederalTLCCreditUnion . And I was able to close all other banking accounts and just use fibre

On line banking is so Convenient!!

It’s nice not having to stand in line or go through drive through to take care of banking transactions. It so convenient that I can do it at home or at work, very quick.

So easy!

I haven’t been to the bank in months! I can deposit my checks and reconcile my checkbook with e-document statements from home. No more leaving work to go to the drive-through.

All the people that I have dealt with at the credit union have been wonderful

Fees

You would think that with longevity with a financial institution they would have you covered with no fees if you decided to cancel a transaction that is I question!
It goes to show just how much they believe in there long term customers! That’s really unfortunate that’s for the heads up not to bank with this institution!
