Our company has chosen to switch to this app. The software we previously used was linear (from one reading to another). Now I have to jump back and forth from the menu to the readings. I share my frustration with my supervisor, he tells me this is the way we are going. Now I have to train our techs on a unnecessarily complicated software package. I would not recommend Encircle as it is right now.

The entire process is great up until adding equipment in jobs. It will not respond to anything at all. Can’t leave the page, can’t find the equipment, can’t type anything. It is not just me everyone in my company is tired of this app for this very reason.

Worked OK at first so I’ve spent hours cataloging and uploading photos. Now there’s about 100 items/ photos that will no longer open at all, no matter how long you wait or reload or reboot. Also even when it was working my main complaint is that there’s no way to re-order or sort your lists, like alphabetically or any other way. Will continue looking for another app for my purposes, this one turned out to be garbage.

After the 2 week trial I moved forward with the month to month because I had high hopes. Unfortunately this app didn’t perform as I hoped and I found a program more suitable for my work. I contacted this app team to see if they would work with me because I only used for a month and they refuse to waive any contract and I have to pay 3k for a app that is unorganized and doesn’t meet expectations. I would warn any company against doing business with this company.

Encircle seems to constantly crash when you try uploading photos. Or just after you hit the save button.

I’ve used Encircle for a long time and the piece of mind it provides is great. Until lately. After the last two updates Encircle opens to a blank white screen and is completely unusable.

App constantly glitches out whenever trying to upload pictures. This is the worst ongoing glitch, happens daily if not every other day. Being in a hot crawl space and your app not working is the WORST feeling ever

I have an iPhone 8 running iOS 11. Every time I attempt to take a video for a room, Encircle crashes.

Update 11/14: I received your response that Encircle had been updated to fix the video crashing error. Sorry, but it STILL crashes.

However, I'm just starting to use it and Encircle is pressing me for an opinion. Pushy if you ask me.

Who’s bright idea was it to make you save a picture before you can take the next picture ? I spend countless hours now taking photos when it used to take me a couple minutes…. 👎🏽

Sometimes while trying to add new equipment to the organization the list is showing only air movers, even when trying to add air scrubbers and dehumidifiers.

Beautifully designed. Wonderfully simple.

However, there are lots of areas where I'd like to see improvement:
1. It is sometimes very slow and otherwise responsive on my iPhone 5. Needs to be more consistent. Entering lots of data is unbearable when Encircle runs slowly.

2. Once you've taken the pictures there's no obvious way to get them out. Should be able to press-hold to copy/save to camera roll so that you can easily email to insurance adjuster. The export function sent me an email with a .zip attachment that would not open on my Mac running Mountain Lion. The Zip file was only 2 KB, so I suspect that it didn't contain my pictures, anyway.

3. Each asset's menu uses most of the screen to display links to google searches under the headings of "documents/video", "troubleshooting", and "parts and accessories". I would venture to guess that practically no users techie enough to make full home inventories on iOS devices and yet don't know how to google the name of their product to look for support videos.

This area would be better served to show additional photos, my notes, warranty expiration dates, related assets (printer for a computer) etc.

It’s easy to start taking inventory but there are a few hang ups preventing it from perfection. I’m currently using it for my expensive collectibles and it’s sorely missing a few features. It only allows 1 photo of each item outside of a receipt photo. For me to get the full value of an item, I need to document multiple angles to prove it’s condition during an insurance claim. Also, the ability to place notes under each photo separately would help. If you want to be extremely thorough, a regular old spreadsheet might be better. Hopefully they update Encircle to cater to more than just home owners.

I use Encircle all day every day as a mitigation technician. Encircle works very well and simple to navigate it I would recommend this to all technicians!!

I tried a number of home inventory apps until I finally came across this app. This is exactly what I needed. Easy to use and can’t believe it’s free. I thought it would be a huge project but Encircle made it a breeze. Definitely recommend.

This software is great!! We performed over 40 jobs in the last 2 months using this this app software! Small jobs to very large jobs! Easy to learn and adapt to every job! The Hydro function made it possible to reach the drying standard goal on all our projects in the most efficient and thorough process! The drying log reports you deliver to your client and the carrier are phenomenal! The support this app offers is the best I have had with any product or service! We are excited for the features you are adding!! Keep this product growing!! Thanks!

Encircle has a couple things they need to work on, but as it stands INCREDIBLY useful to myself and my team!
I’m sure there are plenty of things I haven’t figured out yet, as I’ve discovered plenty of hacks as I’ve gone along in my usage, and I’ve found their lil manual tip-guides to be helpful, so I can’t wait to see what they have to offer down the line!!

This has been an incredible way to keep track of my jobs. Simple to use, and of course they’ve had their bugs but every time I call in to explain, they’re on top of it. Literally some of the best customer service I’ve had from any kind of management software. Definitely sticking with them

Initially I had trouble navigating through all the features .... customer support is excellent and helped me figure it out . Once I got it it’s a breeze and even fun to use .

this app has been a life saver for our business. Thankfully, they have introduced new programs such as Hydro and the content app.
I would like to see some things built out more. The number one thing every construction/restoration company needs that is never thought about is a working job calendar. It’s a whole new addition, so right now I am just looking forward to one being added hopefully in the future. Something similar to Google Calendar would be fine, or integration with Google calendar.

The documents signing has also saved me a headache and money in paper. By being able to text and email docs to be signed on phone, laptop or computer with ease, love this system.

this app is the documentation backbone of our restoration business. We use it for every job and it impressed clients and adjusters.

We’ve been using this app for over a year. Encircle has a lot of features which we count on to document our jobs on a daily basis. General notes and room notes are set up in such a way that you can tie pictures and videos to specific things, which is awesome. Being able to move pictures from one part of a job to another from the computer is also very handy if a tech makes a mistake. Hydro has made psychometric readings easier and the final reports look great. The people who work at this app are responsive and interested in making their product better.

Wishlist: 1) the ability to re-organize room notes like you’re able to re-organize general notes when you run your final this app report. 2)The ability to move photos from one job to another while still retaining the timestamps.
