Digital Planner – Task Journal Reviews

When I downloaded it I was super excited to have a digital planner! But once I opened DigitalPlanner and looked around I saw that majority of the stuff cost money! Only 1 thing in each section is free (besides the holiday stuff at the top). The templates that were for free weren’t that good, while the others looked pretty good. I understand that you have to make money somehow but a lot of kids or teens have parents that won’t let them spend money on DigitalPlanner ! It’s a well formatted and creative app but the premium really puts a limit on it. I will be deleting DigitalPlanner and re-downloading eventually to see if things have changed. Overall, please take this into consideration and make more templates (that are good) for the non-premium users! Thank you!

When I downloaded DigitalPlanner , I thought it was really cute. But when I started to draw on the notes, it was really laggy and the writing was not coming out good. I went to check and see if it was just my pencil on Freeform, but when I was writing on there, it came out good and clean. This immediately made me cancel my subscription and want to find something new.

You should not have to pay

So, all the layouts and journals are very cute, but it’s wayyy to overpriced. I’m not gonna pay over $100 every year for just a online journal. It’s like every other journal app. For free you can get 1 or 2 things. But everything else is money. Unless you want to pay over 100 dollars every year for a journal, DigitalPlanner is not for you.

DigitalPlanner just downloaded it and I already love it it keeps me so productive and I feel happier then ever! There should be more apps like this.

I love DigitalPlanner this is so helpful for me!!!💗It’s good when I can see my daily schedule. I can also make a list of food I need.

Right when you enter, into DigitalPlanner , there is prescriptions that you cannot enter. It’s not free and they’re all pretty expensive. I’m really excited but kind of disappointed as soon as I got into DigitalPlanner . No free option.

DigitalPlanner looked so cute when i got it, i wanted to try the stuff out so bad. Literally when i opened DigitalPlanner all of the stuff costed 20$ a month. Thats ridiculous for a journaling app. Find another one that doesnt scam you out of your money.

As soon as I went to DigitalPlanner it was a subscription thing and 5 min later there was an X and I could only use 3 templates and nothing was working. It’s not worth it. DONT PAY FOR IT

There needs to be more things to do without having to pay! I can't be organized with having any GOOD templet to organize!

I love DigitalPlanner when i downloaded it, But when i only saw there was 1-2 items for free, i kinda regretted downloading it. But Hey! Its a good looking app! :)

DigitalPlanner might be great but you only get to try it free for three days, im trying to filter the free apps and this comes in as free.. “for three days!” So annoying. Get it and you’ll see how itch it costs.

So I saw that it had a 3 day free trial and I wanted to sign up because it was 22 dollars right? Well I put my fingerprint in and it literally TOOK the money and it said free trial so this is crazy do I’m writing this review right now

First of all: it’s not even a good digital planner.

Second of all: it takes your money unexpectedly and I was super mad.

Third of all: it’s a bad app, and it does not Wright well.

JUST DONT GET DigitalPlanner !

How are you going to make a planner app and cannot spell Tuesday right? And also expect people to pay money for additional things.

In order to use pretty much anything on DigitalPlanner , you have to pay a lot.

Not easy to use, no personalization. I prefer my other “notes” app in order to make my plans

At first I was looking for a digital planner like it says, turns out it was a scam. Here the full story- I downloaded DigitalPlanner thinking it was your typical Aestheic app. When I went in DigitalPlanner it requested a trial that was 20 dollars- obviously I pressed no then I went to journal and there were barely any color options, only blue and black I’m pretty sure. I didn’t mind until I went into the category’s of planners and there were only 2 free one in each category and the rest in the trial. This got me really mad that I wasted my time in this. Obviously looking at the latest comments it seems like a new app which is understandable. But they should know not everyone can afford 20$ for a trial.. honestly just use your good notes app, trust me it’s way more useful..

Edit: to the developers who responded to me. I understand you need the trial for DigitalPlanner , but obviously not everyone is able to afford 100$ year fund.. be realistic here, at least make it fair for everybody and stop telling everyone the same exact excuse. Seriously it’s very annoying. And for my recommendation for good notes it’s way better then your app, no offense but it has good deals and way more options.

I happened to find this while looking for a mood tracker. It looked decent and had a 4.5 star review, so I downloaded it. Once it was all done, I opened it and immediately it was asking me to buy the premium version. I didn’t think anything of it so I declined and found the templates. When I saw there was only a few templates for standard users, I was furious. I then picked out a weekly plans template, and wanted to do my own writing since I got the Apple Pencil. But I found out that standard users can only use the so called “pen” which is more like an airbrush rather than a pen. This made me more tempted to delete DigitalPlanner . I found text instead and was okay, but I bought the Apple Pencil for a reason, so this really triggered me. I wanted to submit my work, but it was telling me I needed to buy premium. I wasn’t wasting my money on an app that lags and is greedy on money. So I asked a friend of mine who bought premium. She said it wasn’t worth the money as it crashes and is hard to make templates. I wanted to tell everyone who is about to buy premium this. Cause it is NOT WORTH IT!

So the reason why I put that title because I liked it I would use the blue notebook for free and the “but…” is it would always pop up the money trail and it was annoying it wanted me to buy it but like come on there are people who just want to enjoy a notes app like this and they might not have money and like 19$ dollars or 20$ is to much and I thought gas prices were bad. But it is kinda nice and the draw or write part is bad and I don’t want to have to buy it so I rlly would recommend to type I mean it’s not that bad so that’s why I like it well a little bit but for the people who can afford or buy lucky you but that’s all also no offense but I rlly think notes or better it’s all free and better I mean no stickers and stuff like that but I mean you can survive without stickers and stuff like that! So yeah, peace!

All of the templates and stickers look really cute and are fun to use, but I don’t feel like it’s worth spending over 100 dollars a year to use. The free version has very limited options that make it hard to use when free plus the addition of frequent pop up’s telling you to subscribe. I keep seeing the excuse that the money is needed for DigitalPlanner to work, which I understand, but I feel like there are better options. I see better working journal apps that have more sticker and template options for both free and paid versions plus the paid versions are about 1/3 the price of this one. I feel like if the subscription were A-LOT less than it is now or if you could watch ads for free stickers I might think that DigitalPlanner is worth having , but right now, I’ll have to stick to other apps.

First seeing DigitalPlanner with all the cool templates and designs it looked like it’ll make note-taking much easier. I roll into DigitalPlanner and then I got hit with a subscription promo, I didn’t get it in the hopes I wouldn’t need it to fit my needs, but from there my expectations came crumbling down. There are like very few options continuing using DigitalPlanner for free, it seems like almost everything I wanted had to be bought but even if I did there’s still the biggest problem about DigitalPlanner. . . When using the drawing mode there’s a bad delay, it doesn’t even work at times! It’s so frustrating because the whole reason I got this was to use my pen💀don’t get DigitalPlanner, stick too Apple notes👍

There is no option to try the premium for free that doesn’t run the risk of automatically charging your card for 18ish dollars (they could have added that onto their lowest subscription ~4ish dollars, but they did not. You ONLY get the free trial on the plan that will charge your card the MOST if you are one day late). The free version is practically unusable, hard to see, and you keep getting pop ups to funnel you into the “I hope they don’t cancel in-time so I can take their money category.” Premium content was marked with a diamond icon, and there was also not enough premium content to justify the price. If DigitalPlanner works for you, awesome, but first impressions are that I don’t want to give these people my money.

I can’t even do anything on DigitalPlanner without paying money and what if you don’t have a card or if you’re a child and you just wanna have a journal on your phone and you can have a journal on your phone because DigitalPlanner requires money and you don’t wanna go up to your parents and ask for money from them so it’s basically absolute trash for me because I’m trying to get it and I don’t wanna ask my mom for digital journal because she’s going to see it is a waste of money so this is both a rip off and an inconvenience and a waste of time and I hate it with every fiber of my being I hope you know that the company who made it you better get rid of this free trial nonsense before I see you for everything you own thank you

I understand you have to make money of some how. But when I down loaded DigitalPlanner and looked it looked great but then I looked and the only journal you can pick is a black and blue one and all the others looked great. So I picked the blue one and then I went to get the calendar but you had to pay for it. I wish that I could have gotten it. What is saw what’s that the only way you had to write was a pencil you had to pay for the rest . I am deleting DigitalPlanner and will maybe try again another time when not almost everything has to be payed for.

DigitalPlanner is really great while you have the free trial (2 days only). after that point, you have to pay $22 bimonthly, there is not even an option to pay yearly, which would be over $100 for the year. if this weren’t a problem, i’d be giving a 5 star review

UPDATE; to the developers who replied to me, the trial was only 2 days not 3. and don’t tell me that you need subscriptions to keep your app running, i know that! more people would buy it if it was actually affordable. no one should pay over $100 for a year of DigitalPlanner. i hope for YOUR understanding in that your app is ridiculously priced.

I downloaded it, hoping to use it for work use only. Once downloaded, they only offer 2 days free then you have to pay a subscription every 2 months which is almost $20 every two months. That’s just RIDICULOUS! All the others I’ve found are like $30 for an entire year which is more reasonable. So disappointed. Definitely not going for the two days free knowing the price that comes with it after. There are much better ones for better prices. Don’t waste your money. You’ll be paying about $120 vs $30 else where.

DigitalPlanner says that it is free when you are installing it, but when you get, there is absolutely nothing that you can do with the free pass. Essentially what you can do with the free version is what you can do in DigitalPlanner Freeform. I wanted to make a planner for my week with this, but when I went to get the little sticker that has the days of the week, only Monday was free and if you wanted any other day, it was the premium version. I don’t recommend if you want to make something look nice, but if you just want to write something down and you don’t have the apps notes or Freeform, than this would work out.

When I first got DigitalPlanner , it immediately asked me to buy the premium version but I didn’t, so I declined. Then, I looked at templates and there wasn’t that many good ones, after a few days went by, I went back on DigitalPlanner and again it asked me for the premium version and I had no option to get out of it. I was furious when that happened and I was very mad. I hope they can fix this because it is poorly designed. I still have to update DigitalPlanner and if it doesn’t get fixed I will delete it.

Okay, please read this I’m in the 6th grade moving to the seventh this might not be good but please read. DigitalPlanner is good usage BUT, if you feel like paying mob pet for DigitalPlanner I wouldn’t recommend this for you. The journalism part you have to play more money. Also, for the other things. I’m at the age were I’m using journals and other apps for my school work and things so I need planners and journals to take notes. So if your looking to spend money this is ur app.

I downloaded DigitalPlanner to start journaling, organize notes and design trackers. Overall, keep myself organized. Upon downloading DigitalPlanner , you are immediately required to pay and select a subscription. I selected a small plan to see how it works. I maybe spent 5 minutes in DigitalPlanner before realizing this was not at all what I was looking for. I deleted DigitalPlanner , canceled the subscription and found another app more suitable. I just wish I could have tried it out before buying it. Unless you are familiar with DigitalPlanner , maybe find one that offers a free trial.

DigitalPlanner may look cute but once you download it you have to pay for everything!! DigitalPlanner is good and all, but I’m not going to pay $23 every three months just for a subscription. Although DigitalPlanner is free, there are kids and teens that cant get their parents’ permission to spend money on DigitalPlanner. I really hope you guys can lower the prices soon enough so that everyone can afford it.

I came across this game and I didn’t know what it would be like but it looked fun so I downloaded it immediately started asking me to pay for things and it did not make it clear wear to click if you didn’t want to pay. I soon found out how to skip it and moved on the first thing that happened was a bunch of journal covers only 2 you didn’t have to pay for. I started making a journal page all the sticker besides like 5 you had to pay for. I hated the game and I would save your money if I were you.

I have been searching DigitalPlanner store for around 20 minutes and finally came across DigitalPlanner. I thought that it looked perfect from the second I downloaded it and was super excited only to find out half DigitalPlanner costs money. I understand that they cannot make everything free but almost everything in DigitalPlanner requires premium. The design is great and I would love it a lot more if less things didn’t cost money.

I downloaded DigitalPlanner on January 21st and about an hour later on the same day I canceled DigitalPlanner . I’m 38 years old been having iPhones since day one so I know how to cancel a subscription. Not to mentioned that I triple check everything so I know I did it right. DigitalPlanner states that you have three day free subscription to love it or cancel without being charge. Now it’s January 30th and they charged me for the month!!! I had to call Apple to dispute the charge. I can only imagine how many people get charge without even knowing. CROOKS!! Not good business!!!

Ok well to start of you can barely even use DigitalPlanner without the add for a membership pop up. Everything has to be part of the membership at this point why not just make DigitalPlanner cost money if you can’t even let us use DigitalPlanner without paying for the subscription and the stickers let me just tell you one sticker is free the rest cost the subscription like there are days in a week stickers the only one that you can use is Monday the rest are part of the subscription how does that make sense and for fonts the free fonts are almost the same while the ones with the subscription are actually fonts. Plus if you start a blank page you can’t even get a page without hearts or lines or whatever. And the journals not even the plain colored ones are free two of them are free the black and blue this does not make sense at all really do not recommend DigitalPlanner please just use another planner don’t waste your time with DigitalPlanner this is my honest opinion.

I feel that more of the stuff in DigitalPlanner should be free for example, stickers;
-You only get one free sticker each category

I think that more stickers should be free, while yes I get why they would make you pay for some stuff I don’t think it should be stickers. I think it’s fine you need to buy something for some stickers but not all of them.

-Same as the stickers but you only get two free each category

More pages should be free, Whilst I’m fine with the folder I think more pages should be free. I’m not saying all of them but maybe one more every few categories.

Please don’t take this as and act of hate towards DigitalPlanner it’s still very good! Please take at least some of these into account, also,

Honestly it’s getting annoying how everything has a subscription now days, at this point it would be better to just pay once for DigitalPlanner itself. It’s still be cheaper to go buy a backpack, nice planner/notebook, fancy pens and pencils, and stickers, than it would be to pay for the subscription. I don’t understand why it even costs as much as it does, I get people want to get paid, but it’s not like DigitalPlanner took years to create with 20 different people. And if it did then some revaluation needs to be done.

the reason i rate it 2 stars is because there is a lot like ALOT of things that aren’t free 4 the stickers there is only 1 free the rest aren’t and when i zoom in to write something it always freezes (idk if im the only 1) then everytime i write, click, done writing, moving something around, i get the thing that says organize your life creatively i have to keep clicking continue with standard version. but tbh it is cool like you have something aesthetic if you wanna call it but their is only like 2 journals you could write in. i want this game to remove those because it’s annoying and ik u have to make 💰, but i feel like this should at least b something no 1 has to pay for. but just use ur dang notes…..

Okay, I’m going to be honest here. In my opinion, DigitalPlanner is just a waste of money. I downloaded it hoping that it would be different from the others, and that I wouldn’t have to waste so much money just trying to get good stuff from DigitalPlanner itself. Turns out, I let my hopes up. It’s laggy, costs LITERALLY 20$ to get good stuff/stickers/colors, and worst of all, I can’t buy anything because I’M NOT going to waste 20 FRICKING dollars to get stuff that I might not even need. I’m not saying that they should make it completely free (even though I hope that they could), but seriously, 20$?! Please, consider making it cheaper, as not everyone out there has the money to afford this outrageous price. Seeing from the other reviews, they all seem to be upset about this one problem. I would really hope that you could find a way to make it so that we can still somehow get good stuff while not having to pay 20$. Thank you.

DigitalPlanner automatically charged me for the full amount right when I tried the free trial. I had to contact my bank to get my money back. So ridiculous do NOT do the free trial unless you want to get charged the full amount. Ridiculous! Also just a horrible app in general! They should be shut down for charging when there was a free trial promised! Definitely contacting apple( I know people who work for them ) and letting them know about this scam of an app. So many better planners out there that DO NOT charge before the free trial ends. Please do not spend any money on DigitalPlanner! Save yourself the trouble

I just got DigitalPlanner, and it took me like 20 mins to figure out that I have to click the “buy” button then deny it to even ACCESS DigitalPlanner , after I got in, I wanted to try a template, and I knew that the choices were limited unless I paid, but there were only TWO options!!! At least give us the rest of the basic/plain colors!! There were like 5 other basic-looking ones that looked like they belonged to at least be free! The part that you buy is also SUPER overpriced. You shouldn’t be paying $20 just to write some NOTES down!!! I didn’t even bother to check out the pages you can have because ALL I wanted was an aesthetic-looking app but it couldn’t even deliver more than two free cover options. If you’re going to LIMIT the free version this much, you should just make people pay from the START!!! Overall, this is the worst app I have ever downloaded other than some annoying games.

I got it thinking I would be able to start tracking because even thought it said there were in app purchases availible I didn't think I would have to pay to use it. I was looking for a free one that was cute to motivate me to keep track of everything, and I think paying for something to try isn't helpful because I am trying an app and I would like to have a chance to try it before having to pay. I know theres the free trial too which is great for some people, but I would forget about it and keep paying for it even if I dont use it which is very innconvient
