A great and fun concept

Everyday you can create a checklist, up to 5 tasks before a membership is required. As you complete your list a flower will grow. On the contrary, an uncompleted task will wither or stunt the growth of the flower. I'm watering my digital plant by being productive, its instant dopamine boost seeing my flower healthy. No complaints so far except a few suggestions: Add a pause/save option on the timer. Currently you can either only pause the timer, which locks you onto the timer screen, or you quit which resets your timer. It'll be great for example, to set a goal of studying an hour a day, but allow the user to save 30min in and finish the task later. Have more plants! Right now its just a flower, add some other species and maybe even pets! It'll be great to see some overgrowth on my buttons if I'm on a streak :).

Pretty but impractical

Beautiful and a good concept nicely carried out. Unfortunately, the goal of Eden is chiefly to look and feel nice, not to actually help you do things. In order to check off a task, I have to open Eden and click on a teeny tiny icon in a row of other icons, and then I have to click precisely on the check circle. (If you click otherwhere, you jump into editing a task or no response.) And you can't reorder tasks. Which is maybe not too big an inconvenience because you only get to have five tasks anyway. Dreadful. The paid version (which is advertised with almost every single possible click you make in Eden ) gives you space for more tasks and some other aesthetic options, but it costs $5/mon or $25 for life. Ridiculous. Other task-tracking apps are $3/mon and $20/life at most. To be fair, Eden is very well made. It runs smoothly and has unique features. However, it's obviously made with a particular user in mind: probably someone with a high-paying stressful job in a concrete jungle with no pets or plants.

Great concept, definitely could use work. Feel ripped off also

This might be my first app review I’ve ever written, but because of a recent change I now feel compelled to. I’ve been using Eden for about a month now and I believe I paid a few dollars to be able to use Eden with all its features. That was that. I had some issues but for a few bucks it’s whatever. But I log into Eden today to notice most of the features I had access to(which I paid for) were no longer accessible to me. And now I would have to pay a subscription fee or pay an additional sum much greater than the original JUST to have access to the same features. Eden got more expensive for quite literally no difference in the user experience. I’m not pleased with that. Now I’m sure I’m one of the unlucky burn victims of being caught in the middle of a change in price structure but come on. At least allow me to change the order of my goals for an extra 20 something dollars…

Love Eden!

I tried many different comparable apps in search of one that would fill this function in my life -That would allow me to track the completion of daily self-care habits and reward my success with a response that would spark joy for me. Authentic joy.

I tried so many apps, but nothing gave me the joy. Until I found this app.

I am a minimalist, I don’t like clutter, and I really appreciate beauty. There are so many apps out there that have very little beauty woven into them.

This one really does.

The one area I would suggest for improvement would be incorporating the option to customize the quotes.

This would allow someone to put in the words that really feel most meaningful to them as a reward. For me this would be nurturing little phrases that are specific to me.

But if the quotes are not customizable, this is a place where I would appreciate more beauty and poetry in Eden . I would like to see more quotes by artists here. The ones that are in Eden currently don’t really speak to me.

But all in all, I absolutely love Eden! I immediately purchased a lifetime membership, and I look forward to it being a part of my life for the duration.

Thanks so much for creating this wonderful tool.

Suggestions

I truly love Eden. However I would like a menu to be able to see my progress of when I did and didn’t click the check box. Like a weekly and monthly calander to look at all the progress I’ve made and be able to see my notes from previous days. It may be more data but it would be worth it. I would also like to see a gratitude jar of some kind where I can write down what I’m grateful for as another feature. One other thing would be a note pad as well. For me to be able to journal a few things down just some random thoughts and feelings of the day. Thanks for such a great and cute app. Hopefully we will see sleepy mini games in the future like counting sheep or something like that to wind down. I highly recommend Eden.

Beautiful & All In!

I’ve been using Eden for a few days. It’s so aesthetically pleasing that I love leaving it on and seeing it regularly. It took a couple days for me to figure out the garden only grows if all habits are checked for the day … no partial credit! At first, I thought this was a drawback for Eden . But then I realized that the all-or-nothing approach leaves no room for half-heartedness. So, I picked only those habits that I think are essential to becoming the person I long to be. 2 suggestions for app - being able to rearrange the list of habits; and options to build an architectural wonder or a work of art for motivation. I’m happy with the garden options. I just thought if there were other scenes you might reach a wider audience.

Luv It So Far

I just downloaded Eden a few hours ago, and I saw where I can rate Eden and it took me here! Anyway, this is so relaxing for me while trying to stay productive. This has helped a lot so far even since it has an introduction/tutorial when you first open it! When I found it, I was searching “routine” on Eden Store, and one of the apps I found was this! Most of the other apps that I’ve discovered to start being more productive just feel so… pressuring. This is very relaxing. I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 stars because it’s about 95% good, not 💯 100% because it never told me in the introduction/tutorial how to turn on night mode which I saw in Eden in Eden Store. I don’t think any app I’d find would be 100% good, but that’s okay I don’t care. Anyways, thank you for creating Eden and leading me to it. :)

Simply Beautiful

Eden has helped me become a better version of myself. I never thought I would be so motivated to complete all my daily goals just to watch a flower grow.

Two things I wish for:
1. I wish I could rearrange the daily goals easier
2. I wish my garden wouldn’t start withering just because I miss a goal. I think it would be better if it started to wither only when you miss a goal two days in a row. Or maybe only when you miss two or more goals. Sometimes things come up out of your control.

Problem solved

I was having a problem with my garden growing , but when I left a disappointing review the maker reached out. I wish they had responded to my previous emails and it didn’t take a bad review to get a response , but oh well at least it is fixed now!

I like Eden , it is a simple checklist you can make with relaxing music that plays in the background when you use Eden . And I love the update , because I often forget to check off my nighttime stretching routine because I am winding down for the day , and now it asks me when I turn on Eden the next day if I forgot and achieved all the tasks.

Great little app, worth the price. If it had a vacation mode it would be perfect!

Gentle and nice

I got this for my elderly mom to gently remind her to take her meds and do her morning routine. I appreciate that it’s lovely and calming and easy to use. It would be really nice if there were a little something to encourage you after checking each box, a little animation or “well done”. Just a little dopamine hit. It would also be nice to be able to change the font size to be easier to read. And the best would be an option for two times of day, so you could have your morning goals/routine and your evening goals. Thank you for making something so lovely and gentle and manageable. All the other “productivity” apps are too involved and stressful. Love the garden idea.

Love this app

Eden is great for me. I haven’t had it long, but I already know that this is the perfect app for my habits and life goals. I’ve been trying to be healthier, and every time I think about junk food, or more video games, I also think of my flower garden on this app, and stay away from the junk. The only thing I don’t like is that they only let you choose 5 habits you want to correct or work on. I have more than that, and I’m sure others do to. Overall, I definitely recommend Eden!

By

Love one-time purchase!!!

I appreciate how they are giving you the full benefits of using the extensive use of Eden, through a one time pay only option!! 🥹Thank you so much for this!!! I love the artistic and creative details put into this, I truly feel the love made in attentiveness to detail with music and background and habits chosen! Thank you again! 🙏🏽💞🥰

Also: quick question, can it be possible to edit certain habits, ie. Meditation time and so forth? Thx!

Perfect for My Retirement Activities

Retiring soon and was looking for a goal tracker for activities but didn't want one too work oriented. I had a little trouble with the interface-settings but developer replied quickly to questions. I especially liked that Eden offers a 1-time purchase upgrade instead of a subscription format. I've only had app a few hours but I see it is going to be exactly what I was hoping for!

It’s okay

So basically when I was just doing my little stars, and I’m doing my little checklist, so basically, I thought I was doing my little checklist my thing it stopped working my flowers, not growing but for the most part it is working a little bit but it has stopped working. My percentage is not going up when I check everything off when I am done with everything and now I’m gonna get very mad because I didn’t really like just basically let that game well Eden and it just stopped working so if you can please help yeah that’s fine. Thank you bye-bye.

By

in love.

first time giving a review to an app, but I had to after experiencing the joy of this app. the developers did a wonder! I am so grateful that the premium is easily accessible for fixed incomes.

the beauty radiates from this. you’re taking care of a seed. helping it grow into a flower. you’re doing this by keeping up with your tasks! what a great idea.

there’s ambient music playing that you can change to piano or lofi. there’s quotes on display. you can switch the theme to light or dark (you can even automate it to switch to both through day). you can change the background where your flower is blooming! plus, you can set a daily reminder.

Eden feels so personal. never felt that way about a self-cafe app, or any app to at all to be honest.

thank you for this treasure.

with love, tina.

A Garden Doesn’t Grow in a Day!

First day using this I disappointed that despite finishing my list my progress tracker was at 2% and mo flowers appeared. On day 3 I got my first flower bud. As a gardener, I quickly realized that growth doesn’t happen in day.. downloading Eden on day 1 was just planting the seed. Eden was designed to reflect the nature of growth .. not the instant gratification I was expecting. Now that I figured out how it works, I love and appreciate using Eden on a daily basis.

By

Nice app!

I really do like this productivity/mental health app.
It makes doing your daily tasks feel like a peaceful game.
The only things I wish would be for even more sound effect and music options, and maybe being able to customize the backdrop color.
That being said, there are several options for sounds in the game, and Eden is beautiful! Definitely recommend!

By

Simplicity and beauty in an app

Most other habit tracking apps are too technical and complicated. this app is simple, beautiful, calming, and has the ethos of “less is more.”

Growing a garden feels growing myself, which is exactly what following your habits do to you.

I recommend prospective users to think deeply about which habits are truly important to put in here. Starting with 12 habits is much harder to compete everyday than 2.

By

Great app!!

I love Eden I got Eden because at first I was really lazy and I did not know what to do I recommended it to two of my friends and now they love Eden thank you for being the best app I’ve ever had and also I do recommend that OK so basically I’ve been doing this every day in my flower has not been growing my name is Maximus my name in the game so yeah that’s only complaint I have but thanks.!💜💜

By

I really want to love this app!

Whoever came up with Eden is amazing! It’s a great idea. I just can’t get it to work. I’ve closed it out, opened it back, uninstalled and reinstalled but no matter what and no matter how many tasks I complete, my garden is always stuck at 2%. I would have loved to leave a comment or a question to help get to the bottom of the issue but that feature isn’t working either. I purchased the premium edition and really feel like that was a waste at this point but I wanted to give it 2 stars for the great idea and what Eden represents.

It is okay but It could change…

Overall it is an okay app and when I first looked at it it looked like the best app ever but a few days later I noticed some things that were just annoying like the fact that you can only put 5 goals unless you pay is definitely annoying I feel like you should at least have to watch an ad or something to be able to put more goals and the second thing is the biggest thing which is why it does if you did not complete your tasks and that is the plants will wither and I personally think that that makes people think that they failed the day and failed to complete what they should have I feel like they should put something like
-Why do you think you could not complete this task?
-What can you do next time
And then If you do not complete you task multiple days in a row then you plants will wither and on the days that you did not complete you tasks your plants will just stay as they are I think this way people can have another chance and really change their mindset, and get things done

By

Free looks good till you add tasks

I’m just starting with Eden and was super excited to try it out to help keep me motivated and on track for the new year. As a single mom I look for apps that let me do a decent amount of things without having to pay, I will watch ads all day long if I have to, to help a developer as paying for apps is out of the question for me. When I first started playing around while sad I only had 1 flower type not the end of the world as I could change the screen colors, some of the music, all of the sounds and some of the background images, but then I start adding task and you get cut off at 5, while the premium advertises 20 I thought I might get like 10 on the free version but nope just 5 task. I will have to look for another app to help me stay motivated and organized as 5 isn’t doable and having multiple apps to do 1 thing is confusing and frustrating. If your are able to afford the premium, stick with Eden it is so pretty and relaxing to use.

Positive motivation turned negative

I just got Eden. Love the look of Eden and the calming music. I was excited to grow my garden of flowers as I completed tasks. I made a pretty big list of things that I eventually want to accomplish daily (had to pay to be able to do that), knowing that I wouldn’t complete everything right off the bat, but wanted to work up to things. It’s only day 2 and I completed a few of my tasks today and was feeling good about what I had accomplished until the notification came up asking me whether I had completed my tasks and if not, whatever progress I had made would wither. Why take away from what was already accomplished? Why take away what was already rewarded? I am motivated by positivity, but now that there is a negative thing that happens if I’m unable to complete my list…it’s not as appealing.

Real person here : this app is seriously amazing / super clean and easy to use

I’m genuinely shocked Eden doesn’t have more reviews, this has helped me every single day to accomplish my guitar goals / build healthy habits. The design is sleek and easy to look at, while also being pretty customizable and handy
( ex : playing Lofi while you sit idle on Eden & setting a timer for whatever habit you / goal you add )
I think all of this combined with the fact that you can use basically every feature in Eden without paying a dime makes this such an amazing product, im not being payed or anything to write this, it’s just turned a massive profit for me and I want to give my thanks to the devs.

By

Absolutely loving this app!

First of all, I love the aesthetics of Eden - it’s absolutely gorgeous and even the widgets are adorable. But if I could make a suggestion, would it be possible to make the tasks show on the home screen Eden loads into? I don’t mind clicking on the tasks button to complete them, but if we could have the option to switch the two that would make it perfect!! That’s the only suggestion I have, I’m buying premium asap!! (And thank you for including days to have the reminders and habits set, this is a feature lacking in every other app I’ve come across. Not to mention $25 for a lifetime premium is not bad AT ALL!!)

By

A beautiful little reminder for self care!

I have been using Eden for about two weeks. The beauty of Eden makes me welcome it into my screen time unlike other more perfunctory lists. In the last two weeks I have spent time praying, being outside, and added tasks to help me get dressed in the morning so I show up in the world the way I want to. I think this a great app for moms or busy working women who have been taking care of everyone but themselves and have neglected to care or even pamper themselves. I wish all my checklists could look like this. Thank you!

By

New User

I just got Eden to help with keeping to routine, especially as someone with autism and anxiety who gets stressed thinking about everything needing to be done and procrastinating in the end. I think growing the flowers are absolutely adorable! The only issue I have is that I’d like to see only the tasks I’ve set for their days and not the grayed out tasks for others. It stresses me out just looking at them! If the day’s tasks were the only to show up to be checked it’d be far more motivating and easier to see really what all needs to be accomplished. I hope this could be a future update to make Eden even better!

Great app, hope more gardens are added in the future

This is a wonderful app! I love that the plants don’t die. It helped me realize that even if every day wasn’t perfect, long-term I was making progress. It’s a visual that represents that.

I do think that when I plant all the gardens (which will take a while, especially when I add habits gradually) I’ll get bored if more aren’t added. “Maintaining” the plants instead of “growing” them feels less motivating. If more are added I’ll probably subscribe forever ~

By

Simple and great

Eden does exactly what I wanted and it’s not requiring a subscription like a lot of apps do today. I set my habits based on what I want, then I check off that I did them. Simple and great.

You can buy it for $24 (as of the date of writing), but it really just opens up a bit more features. I like this too because I don’t need to buy unless I’m really dedicated to setting up new habits and replacing old ones.

Again, simple and great. Thank you for making Eden .

By

Review and suggestions

I love it! It’s cute and calming. I can check off what I’ve done with some calming music and colors that are easy on the eyes. My two suggestions would be to add something where you can add tasks for weeks and months. I don’t need to change my toothbrush ever week or day; and to make the completed tasks more separate from the unfinished ones. It’s not that hard to see or anything, but I like things in boxes. A completed box and an unfinished box. If these things are possible, that would be delightful. I’m still going to use it regardless as I do actually love it.

By

Good but needs some changes

this app needs some changes because when I wanna add more list things you have to buy this app premium and if you also wanna grow more flowers you also have to buy this app premium I thought that if I downloaded I would not have to pay just to get more flowers I thought that they would grow after I do my chores. This game is really good js needs a few changes I really really like it, it helps me with getting things done but I think I’m gonna have to use a different app but Eden is really good tho you guys did good!

By

Instant love for this app

There are so many things I enjoy about Eden. The Lofi music and the ability to continue playing it in the background even when not using Eden is a game changer for me. It’s soothing, helps me relax, and I love that there are several available options to play with. From messing with the background to choosing my soothing sounds, it all has contributed to helping me develop healthy habits. The idea of creating a garden is fun and I have never felt more energized and excited to mark all my daily habits/goals complete.

By

Very mid

Was helpful at first but after a while I started neglecting actually doing my list of things because if you forget to check something off, a page will pop up the next day and ask you if you did it. Obviously if you don’t complete your list your garden will wither and you don’t want that to happen. Every day I was not completing my chores and the next day I would click “Yes! I did it!” Every time to keep my flower from dying. Also I’m not going to pay for premium so I was limited to only growing one flower and then I stopped using Eden all together when there was no motivation anymore. Like I said very mid do not recommend pick a different app.

Could use more basic features

Eden is great for what it is designed for and I love how private it is. It is pleasant, encouraging, and great for tracking a handful of important goals. With that said, I still find it lacking in basic features.

Eden has a streak system where, if you don't complete any tasks for a day, your flower withers. This is a really cool concept. Except that, if you don't check Eden at all on the day you don't checkmark your goals, the flower does not wither at all. Yet you can reset the number of times you completed your goal manually. So if you want to meditate for 30 days without breaking, and you want to go on a streak, you can reset the number of times you meditates whenever you break that streak. Except resetting the number doesn't make the flower wither either.

It may sound funny to say, but Eden isn't punishing enough for those who want to maintain a streak. If I miss a goal for one day then Eden should automatically wither the flower the next time I open it. The flower should automatically wither (or start from the beginning) anytime I reset the streak.

In short, the user should be able to define and configure their goals more than they're currently able to so that they are rewarded for maintaining a streak and punished for failing to. Otherwise, it feels as if you're being rewarded for failure (because the flower does not reset when you reset your goal).

Good concept, but I wouldn’t pay for the full version

Trying out this app has been a breath of fresh air in the midst of high school chaos. Eden combines goal tracking with a calm vibe, creating a digital retreat that's perfect for focusing and reflecting.

Eden 's look is really nice. It's like walking through a peaceful garden. Seeing your virtual flower grow as you finish tasks gives you a real sense of accomplishment. It's like watching your goals come to life.

Using this app is easy. It's not complicated, which is great because who has time to figure out a complicated app? You just tap a few buttons, and you're set.

But here's the thing – the subscription stuff. I get it, developers need to make money. But as a high schooler, I don't exactly have cash to spare. The free version is okay, but it's kind of limited. I wish there were more features without having to pay for them.

Overall, though, this app is pretty cool. It's got this chill vibe that I'm really into, and it's helping me stay on track with my goals. If they tweak the free version a bit, it could be even better. For now, though, I'd give it a solid 4 out of 5 stars

love this app!

Eden is so amazing compared to other checklist apps I’ve had in the past! the aesthetic of it is really nice, and it has a good way to keep you coming back each day. having adhd can make things like lists harder to do. I mostly get off track and forget to do it, but when there is a reward and consequence for it, I really makes me put my mind to it. in the game, there is a flower. if you complete a task, your flower grows, and it will keep flourishing if you keep acing the objective you made. but if you don’t, the leaves and petals will wilt. I think it’s a phenomenal game! I couldn’t recommend it more! 💗
