Management Problems

I have been involved with Badge of Honor since the spring of 2020. The problem I have with them is they do not respond to any requests you have. I did Backway to Crown King on October 6, 2021. I was thoroughly disappointed in that trail as it was rated as a 10. My opinion was a 5 at best and it ended in a resort area. I wrote my opinion of it and Jim Morrison has been pouting like a child ever since. He refuses to send me the badge I earned for it. It remains stuck in the requested part of their listing. He withheld my badge for Turkey Bay for a year and then claimed it was shipped but I never received an email telling me it was going to ship. I could have informed them beforehand and got the shipping address changed. I have informed them of address, phone number and email address changes tree times so far with no response or changes made in my account. I offered to pay for the second shipping of the badge. The first time I sent them the new email address, a new message showed up in my profile stating they will only respond to the email address that you contacted them with originally. A hacker locked me out of the old email, so I can’t access it. I just did a really good trail in Nevada, Rocky Gap Rd. I gave it a good review and my badge is in the requested stage. I guess I will never see that one because Jim Morrison is still pouting.

Not a very good app

Tried multiple times at SMORR (as well as others trying) to log into both trails last weekend but JeepBadgeofHonor kept saying I could complete the process when I was connected to a network. Was connected all weekend and up until Thursday, I haven’t been able to complete the process. Thinking I needed to delete and reinstall JeepBadgeofHonor but now I can’t remember my password. Tried the forgot my password link twice and still haven’t received the link to reset my password as of this morning (Saturday). The only good thing about it was my wife was able to complete the process last Saturday and we got our badges yesterday (Friday).

Understaffed?

I love my Jeep. And this is a really cool idea to connect the Jeep community and award actual, physical badges to put on your Jeep after taking it out on trails. I will most definitely continue using JeepBadgeofHonor, but it could be a lot better.

It takes a looooong time for badge requests to get processed. So if you’re moving any time in about 12 months from when you complete a trail, wait until you’re at your new address to request it. It’s really confusing to me why it takes so long for delivery in a day and age when next day delivery is common. My guess is they’re understaffed. That guess is also supported by a lack of responsiveness to email. It’s been three weeks since I sent an email trying to tell them that I’m moving, and I still haven’t heard anything back.

The trails Jeep selects for JeepBadgeofHonor aren’t distributed through the country very well either. For instance the Moab, Utah area has half a dozen approved trails, but not a single one anywhere in the upper Midwest (MN, WI, SD, ND, IA, NE, or KS). A Jeep driver’s ability to make full use of JeepBadgeofHonor really depends on where they live.

Overall, Jeep has a foundation of great features in JeepBadgeofHonor, but those features need some improvement.

Need more trails

As a few others have stated, JeepBadgeofHonor is a super cool idea but doesn’t have an even spread of trails. Yes I know it’s much cooler to go off-roading in Colorado than the Midwest, but I know for a fact there’s some good trails around here that aren’t included. Would like to start using JeepBadgeofHonor more without having to drive 10+ hours! Lol. Also, minor suggestion but I think the map would look better and easier to read if they marked state lines? I’ve never seen a map of the US that doesn’t show state or even country borders

Enjoying the Badge Program

It helps plan my family vacations to areas of the US that we may not go to. It has brought us together closer and we are enjoying the wooded/rocky outdoors way more. I just wish that the process of shipping out the badges was a lot faster. Up to 30 days is understandable, but having to wait months and/or a year is way too long.

Way better than previous versions

When this program started is was frustrating and didn’t work at all and getting ahold of someone was almost impossible but now it’s great and customer service is way better, took less than one day to work though a problem I had thank you for making it way better

Great app in combination with your Jeep!

This is a great app to get you out with your Jeep and bring you to amazing locations! There are 49 trails currently to challenge your Jeep to it's limits! I have had an amazing time of the 5 I've done and I can't wait to do more! Plus once you complete them (first time completing) Jeep will send you a hard badge to put on your Jeep, free of charge! That is an awesome, not to beg, way to show what your Jeep can do!

Amazing Jeep Benefit

JeepBadgeofHonor is easy to use and it is really great Jeep sends you badges you earn. Two complaints. First off the directions to the trail head isn’t always accurate. On one trail, it actually sent me down some guys driveway that wasn’t very happy I was trespassing and met me with a shotgun. Not JeepBadgeofHonor ’s fault the guy was upset, but JeepBadgeofHonor did send me into it. The other issue is with the description of the trails could be better.

Proud Jeep Owner

Jeep, this means so much to the majority of us. It’s super cool so please don’t take the couple bits of negative feedback as the majority’s opinion. It’s free, I don’t care how long it takes to get my badges. I have the experience and the pictures than truly mean more at the end of the day. Badges are just the cherry on top. Thank you and keep the program running strong so I can keep it going with my 392 as I have done nationwide with my JK.

Wheres my badges?

Requested my badge from Hells revenge 10 months ago. And I think golden spike since February of this year. I have sent numerous emails requesting information and never got anything back I’ve seen several people receive their badges on these trails since then. I understand it’s a free service but come on man be consistent. I actually take a lot of my trips specifically to go ride these trails I would like to have the badges……..

Remote attachment

Even if I can’t check in to a favorite trail as often as I would like, I can check JeepBadgeofHonor and live vicariously through all of the contributors to feel like I am still in touch with these great trails. It’s also helpful in serving as recon for the next endeavor. Great for planning a trip or getting feedback on how hard a trail might be in real time. I am one of the non-Wrangler users yet feel COMPLETELY part of the community.

Great app

I stumbled on JeepBadgeofHonor after doing the Rubicon Trail. I thought, if I had this all prior, I could receive my badge. So I decided to install JeepBadgeofHonor and contact customer service regarding checking in on trails I have already completed. I stated my scenario and they requested GPS tracking info or pics. I gave both and they were happy to check me in on my trail so I could receive my badge. All in a mater of days, I had my trail check-in pop-up on my app. The only flaw I would state, I wish there were more trails near me that are approved as “Jeep” quality trails. For instance, Slick Rock, in my area. It’s a great technical ride and deserved a badge. I’m sure there is a process to adding trails. Other than that small issue, it’s great!

Great Adventure Program

Great idea and very well done. It’s user friendly and I like how it’s all put together. It allow people to go chase their dreams and see this beautiful country. It keeps people on point while keeping all the Jeep people plugged in, which makes us feel like we are part of this lifestyle. This is a movement not a moment!! The customer service is excellent- I mean really good. If you have problems you just email them and “magic” it’s done!!
Great job BOH leaders keep up this journey!

Jail Bars Off Road Club

Don’t bother. No support. Maybe a badge, maybe not.

JeepBadgeofHonor has no support whatsoever and does not respond to its only means of contact which is an email that repeatedly goes unanswered. It’s completely hit or miss as to whether you ever receive a badge or not. Some are shipped quickly or correctly. Some never ship at all with no explanation as to why. Sometimes an empty pack will be shipped to you with no badge. There’s no way to contact anyone to remedy any problem.

No badge and no response from Jeep

JeepBadgeofHonor isn’t worth it. We checked into Turkey Bay OHV in Land Between the Lakes in July 2022. The badge is still being processed in December 2022. We’ve reached out several times to find out why the badge hasn’t been processed and get no response whatsoever. We even reached out to Jeep care, who assured us they would get this resolved, and still nothing. Don’t give Jeep your vehicle location history if they won’t keep up their end and give you your badges in a reasonable amount of time.

Jeep is Awesome

Jeep is an iconic brand. The first car I owned when I turned 16 was a 1969 CJ5. Now I have a 2013 JK unlimited. My Grandpa has a 1947 CJ2A , Dad has a 1948 CJ2A. Going Jeeping is a family tradition for 75 years in our family. The badges of honor is an awesome way to display the pride and accomplishments that comes with owning a Jeep. My 13 and 10 year old kids are excited to earn more badges , and more importantly can’t wait to own Jeeps so they can earn Badges of Honor on their own. Thank you for keeping Jeep at the forefront of technology and innovation, but more importantly maintaining the tradition of what Jeep means. Keep on Jeeping!!!

Retired and now full time Jeeper

Since I Learned of the Jeep badge program and app about a year ago, it is not only exciting but genius. As more Jeep drivers become aware of this program it draws more enthusiasm as evident through conversations and amazing trail badges as displayed on proudly owned vehicles. It creates a robust desire to obtain more trails and adventures as indicated on JeepBadgeofHonor . JeepBadgeofHonor programmers are to be commended as the information and options are well represented while fairly clear and understandable. I’m excited to further catapult this program to as many Jeep enthusiasts as possible. Thank you

Badge Of Honor

My husband and I really enjoy earning the badges. The trial’s are a Challenge, but that’s what makes it fun. And to know that once it’s been completed you can earn a badge for doing something that’s fun is awesome!!! The only sad thing is that sometimes UPS will leave our package by the door and others have left a note saying that no one was home and won’t leave the package and doesn’t come back. We’ve had that happen. 😌. And we know they can’t be replaced. 😌 Other than that it’s been fun and exciting. We love and enjoy the trials… Thank you for giving out the Badges.

Amazing Customer Service

New to the Jeep world. Went and did a pass with my Rubicon last weekend, but didn’t even know about JeepBadgeofHonor and program until after. Reached out to the customer team and they helped me verify my ride and give me credit immediately. Very prompt and professional customer service would recommend JeepBadgeofHonor just based on that.

The interface is slick, cool little animations of an old school Jeep going over little hills while your are submitting information.

Really awesome to help find new trails to take my wrangler on, and the difficulty rating system is great for newbies like me.

To be fair, I would like to see a larger database of trails. Being in Colorado there is only like 8 rides that are certified, but I have to imagine we have plenty more than that.

Outside of that, this is great app for any Jeep enthusiast. The badges they send you (which I saw out on the trails which is what sparked my journey to find JeepBadgeofHonor out) are awesome, they look like they would come stock on the Jeep) are great quality.

Definitely sure yo download the and get out there and have some fun.

Absolutely love it

I absolutely love JeepBadgeofHonor I’m so thankful that Jeep has enough love and respect for their customers to offer something as cool as this cost free I recently rolled my jeep totaling it I’m looking to purchase another one and I asked about the badges they said they would send me a whole set of badges absolutely cost free I am so pleased again excellent group of people working for Jeep thank you for all that you guys do in this free program !!!!
