New mobile app

A comment on the new app - i have submitted several request for issues with the new app as well as contacting RJ directly . To be clear, I have total confidence in my Advisor and am totally satisfied with services from RJ that go thru my advisor. It is with that great dissatisfaction that i find the IT dept & app support are so disconnected from that level of service. I hope that things change dramatically with this tower of support as it does not reflect well . For example, I have asked for years that any page with headers have the headers frozen so when You scroll down thru the page , the headers are maintained. When i logged into new new app , portfolio positions, all the various columns and headers are gone. Also when i call the RJ Client access to report an issue, I am not given a ‘problem’ ticket # for follow-up with the webpage or app support team. I am told this will be forwarded with no follow-up contact information.

App NEVER works

ClientAccess never works. Always says there was an error retrieving my information. It’s been like this for a very long time. My user name and password are correct. I can login on a browser, so why doesn’t ClientAccess work? ClientAccess should be pulled from the store until they fix it. Very unprofessional, Raymond James.

UPDATE: the same problem exists even after their recent update. Unbelievable. Absolutely ridiculous.

It doesn’t work…at all

I can’t even get past the login screen. Half the time I can’t even log in on mobile through a web browser. I finally just deleted ClientAccess because I could never get into it. Never had this issue with any other bank/financial service app.

Disappointing

It appears that either the developers ran out of time or that the design wasn’t well thought out. For example:

The new dashboard widgets have fixed sizes so that they only show up to 3 accounts, 3 investments, etc.

It is easy to see overall daily change, but not possible to view daily change on one screen for each account or month to date change for all or individual accounts.

Hopefully this release just introduced a template that can be easily modified to provide and improve upon information that is available through the website version.

Honestly it could not be any stupider. What was wrong with the one.

Bring back the old version

I knew an updated version of ClientAccess was coming and thought it was going to be a nice improvement. Unfortunately the new app has an extra large font and makes it impossible to look at your account and navigate through the features. I am using an iphone 13 pro max so it's not my phone or settings. I'm sure this won't be the only complaint when current users start to use the new app. Please get this fixed or update us on how to change the view within ClientAccess .

It has taken away important information about client portfolios

The new app does not provide information that the previous app did. I use it myself along with my clients and I’ve had several calls already about the lack of information. The most important thing is, they can no longer see their total portfolio income only the income on individual securities. Like myself, my clients have several accounts that they look at on a regular basis through ClientAccess. I certainly hope that they will change this soon

No portfolio tracking

There seems to be no way to track daily performance over time. There needs to be a graph showing day by day performance.

If you want to look back at yesterday’s account performance there is no way to see it once you get past midnight.

This is basic stuff and a significant pain point.

Meh

Why in the world would you build a default Home Screen that doesn’t automatically display all of one’s accounts? Tablet users end up with a lot of wasted space. Needs some more work.

Account overview tab

I’m disappointed that you don’t display the daily Change and change since the last statement in the account overview. I now have to drill deeper to find out which account has changed and by how much. This makes my daily review take considerably longer.

Latest update broke FaceID

Most recent update has broken FaceID login. Button is now greyed out…username /password login is unaffected.

Please fix

Does not come up when searching for Raymond James or RJ

It feels like it should be table stakes that you can search for a banking app based on the bank name MLS, but ClientAccess is simply called Client Access. Try searching for Raymond James or RJ on your phone and nothing will come up. This feels like a pretty basic mistake and something that should be easily and quickly fixed. Responding to the developer, I’m talking about searching for ClientAccess on my phone, not in ClientAccess Store. Thank you for the clarification! It seems to me maybe ClientAccess should be called RJ Client Access then?

Recent Log In issues

I recently upgraded phones and was having some of the same issues with logging into ClientAccess . It wouldn’t let me log in and the log in button was grayed out. What I ended up having to do is reset my password in the browser and on ClientAccess manually type my new credentials and select “remember device” to get my app to open. I logged off and back in and was able to get into my account. As far as ClientAccess goes it does everything I need for it to do. It’s very useful keeping me updated on my brokerage account. Good luck to those having problems logging in.

2 different icons - 2 different formats

1. Solid blue - this is on my iPad and I don’t care for it as much as
2. Half dark blue and half white with”client access” printed on the white portion. This icon appears on my iPhone and presents my preferred format. Wish I could get this icon / format on my iPad.

Good App Overall

I’ve been using RJ for my retirement/investing/cd’s since getting my first job. ClientAccess is overall good. The only complaint I ever have is sometimes the scheduled maintenance is during active hours like 6am - 11pm. Not that I necessarily need to check my balances in emergency but it would be better if the maintenance was at night.

Love the new update

The old app was just fine but was always confusing where everything was that I was looking for but I made it work. The new update looks great and everything makes sense where it is now. Great job!

So easy and simple

Love the interface and the experience. Don’t know why everyone doesn’t use an FA from Raymond James. It’s convenient banking software plus the eyes of a professional on all my accounts.

The newest version is fast and lets me get info and take actions like moving money quickly and easily.

ClientAccess freezes when I check my pending activity. Please correct this.
