I ordered two pairs of shoes and the one pair was in a size 6 box but inside was a size 9. I called the very next day after I discovered the mix up as it was after business hours. The lady I spoke with was very nice and immediately did a new purchase to replace my shoes and sent me a return shipping label. I packed up the shoes that were sent to me and took them to the nearest fedex to return them as I was given a deadline to ship them back. After shipping me the wrong size there was no urgency on your end to ship me the correct size. So now almost a week later and they still have not shipped. I had to call again to be told that they will ship them the next day and now I will not receive them in time for the event that I ordered them for. I informed the customer service assistant that I was speaking to about my frustration and that I was displeased and there were no attempts to make things right. Terrible customer service on how my order was handled.

It was definitely my fault the I selected the wrong size,I opted to pick up in the store and didn’t notice till it said order was delivered. I called the store to make sure that I could exchange for the correct size and was advised I could. When I got here I was told I couldn’t exchange in the store and had to but the shoes again and wait for the online app to process my refund. Why?! Just give me the correct size
Called the customer service to assist and the initial rep was extremely rude. I requested to speak with someone else who could help explain things to me because she was telling me to go to fedex to return the shoes while I picked them up from the store. The supervisor was extremely helpful and so was the store manager in the end. But the whole issue could have be resolved so simply it was to exhausting. The last 2 people I spoke with was the reason I’m giving 2 stars.

I downloaded SteveMadden and ordered myself some shoes. I liked it because I could get an extra discount with SteveMadden . Well, my daughter wanted two pair, so I went back on SteveMadden to order them. My card was declined multiple times! I contacted customer service who told me to use Pay Pal. I don’t have Pay Pal! I also had 100x the money needed for my shoes in my checking account. I also tried a credit card and it wouldn’t work! I wanted to give up, but I promised my daughter the shoes. I went on the computer website and ordered them. By then, one color was on back order, as this was about 24 hours later. Also, I could not get SteveMadden discount, so I paid $20 more. The customer service did not understand that it was not a problem with my card, but with their app. I will be deleting SteveMadden, as it is worthless.

I love Steve Madden shoes but this has got to be the worst app ever. For the chose to be the price they are, it should be affordable to hire a better app designer. It is not user friendly and if you try to update your information or go back to edit an order, you are just out of luck. If you want to see the clearance items, once you click on one to see, you can't back out and go to where you left off, you have to go all the way back to the top and start all over, every time you click a shoe. I pressed the wrong size and didn't see it until I paid but there was no option to edit the order on SteveMadden or over the phone with a rep. The only option was to cancel the whole order. SteveMadden needs to be way more user friendly. You have to check out just to apply your discounts. It's a mess

I purchased black Maximus sneakers with the matching handbag for my vacation. The shoes arrived on time, but the handbag was delayed. I called customer service on 9/22 and the rep assured me that my package would arrive the next business day. Well it did not! I received an email notification that the handbag would arrive on 9/29 (well after my vacation), only to receive another notification saying it was pushed back to 9/30, then purchased back on 10/1, and again another delayed date of 10/2. I called customer service to inquire and was told if it didn’t arrive on 10/2 to call back on Monday. No explanation or attempt to keep me as a customer! When the handbag finally arrives, I will be returning both the handbag and shoes and taking my business elsewhere! I am very disappointed!

I absolutely love Steve Madden shoes. So it’s no secret why for my promotion at work I had to be in their shoes. Well I ordered their shoes on 3/24 in hopes to have them in time for my party on 4/1. They did not make it on time and I’m heated. They’ve been stuck in California for days. No updates on the tracking number. After realizing they weren’t going to make it on time I went to dsw and got another shoe but it was twice the cost of the original shoe I wanted. I’m upset and disappointed. This is apart of the reason why I don’t like to shop online. When I make my purchase I want my product. I’m going to cancel my order seeing as though I have another shoe. SteveMadden is no longer needed on my phone because you lost a customer. Let me try and get my mood together so I can try to get ready for my party. Shoutout to DSW THO!

I’ve been shopping here for a long time and SteveMadden has always been garbage. I’ve deleted it and reinstalled it numerous times. Don’t even bother, ITS GARBAGE!
It crashes every time you go to my account or my orders. It logs you out every time it crashes or you exit out. It doesn’t save your favorites. The coupon codes don’t work. When you click back it just takes you to the main menu instead of the previous screen. The filters don’t work. It doesn’t count your reward points when you shop. I don’t even know if they got rid of the reward points all together?!? I haven’t had reward point in like 2 years when I shop here every few months. The entire user experience is completely trash. They might as well get rid of this stupid app all together.

No matter how many times I checked Steve Madden app, I always find a great new style of shoes that I can’t say no and I buy them. Is the only shoe company that can grab me like that. Because in reality I’m not so much of a shoe person but with Steve Madden is hard to turn around and ignore their amazing style as well as customer service. I will always be grateful to Steve Madden for giving all of us the pleasure to find ourselves inside their unique styles that no matter how old they can be in our closets still have great memories inside that gives us joy in every shape and form.

Hello I have reached out to customer service a few times now in regards to my beige maximas that I never received never got a tracking number for never received any type of email confirmation for as well . I spoke with customer service rep last week they stated that my shoes have not been shipped out yet and that for me to give you guys a call back on Monday so I returned the call back yesterday which was Sunday and that customer rep that I spoke with had told me that my items were shipped to me on the 25th of July and that my case was under investigation . Every time I call I get a different answer so at this point I would just like my refund back . This is by far the worst customer service ever and I will not be ordering from Steve Madden again .

Find out after getting off the phone with her she canceled the wrong item, that I really wanted, I call back same process, waiting on hold forever, get someone else on the phone and again reassured that my whole order would be canceled, at my request. I was then told that I would receive an email confirmation that never came. The issue still has not been resolved!!

SteveMadden is very user UNFRIENDLY and makes it hard for customers to view merchandise and purchase merchandise. Firstly, when scrolling through, SteveMadden crashes and closes. I tried going on to the Steve Madden website on a google chrome browser page, which then rerouted me back to the malfunctioning app. Eventually I found the shoes I wanted and then I tried signing into my account to receive the coupons and it kept saying “internal error” when I would put my info. I then made a whole new account to get the discount, which worked, and I placed my order. But when I go to track where my shoes are it gives the same “internal error” message.

SteveMadden keeps telling me my zip doesn’t match my city. I’ve been using my address for quite some time now, I think I know my own address! And sometimes a drop-down box appears for the city and sometimes you have to type it in. There is seriously something wrong with typing it in shipping addresses. I have tried it several times. Then I come to the reviews to see if anyone else is having the same issue and I see there are plenty of other issues. Don’t even know if I want to continue with trying to purchase these shoes.

SteveMadden allows works with all clicks that involve browsing and purchasing. However as soon as you choose to purchase shoes you have trouble. SteveMadden doesn’t work properly with Apple Pay (I had to submit my purchase 3 times due to issues with pushing the right amount to my Apple Pay). Then if you have success purchasing products you have a lot of trouble checking the status of your order. From here SteveMadden crashes every time you open your orders. SM need to upgrade their software big time. This is definitely a deterrent in buying their shoes directly from them. Two stars because I love your shoes otherwise this rating would be zero stars.

I have been shopping with SM for sometime now. I started with them because I saw a shoe on someone and asked “Where do I get a pair” I don't know much about anything else. I do know that my sneaker collection is “Fabulous” I am still not comfortable buying his clothing. The one item I bought was ok, but the arm length is too short. I'll still give them a good rating. My only suggestion is “Do Not” go on awaiting list or pre-order out of stock . All my sneakers with one exception do not have his logo or any additional accessory added. I luv the purses for a great look.

They give you the option for the day shipping then they should provide that service. Everything was shown to be in stock when I placed my order. Then 2 weeks of waiting it’s advertised that they restocked the items. My order still shows a shipped but fedex has no record of receiving my items. I called and finally got a rep who refunded my express shipping fee which is why I gave it stars but I could bareley understand her. Here it’s is days later and it’s still reflecting the same info and says only one of my items are “fulfilled” but it has not yet been shipped. Don’t order if you want/need things in less then a month..

Trying to reach them by phone is harder than finding a needle in a haystack!!! No matter what day or time, you can never reach them by phone. Their recording says they are available by phone Monday through Sunday from 9am to 10pm EST but the website says from from 9-4 EST… cute shoes and sandals but if you have a problem with them you can never contact them to resolve problem…

The service is very horrible. They will tell you all kinds of lies especially when it comes to the shipping of the packages. I’ve been waiting on my package since it was shipped out on September 26, 2021 and I still haven’t received it yet when it gave me an arrival date of October 5th. Today is October 19th. They told me that I can’t get a refund or file a missing package claim because it says that it’s still in transit. When I called Steve Madden and FedEx, they told me that my post office has it (in which they don’t) but lied the whole time. Steve Madden and FedEx both ruined my sister’s birthday. I will NEVER order from them again.

I placed an order on March 30 for the Maxima Blush. The fulfillment date was April 30, 2021. The shoes are paid in full! Normally money is not take. Until product is shipped 🙄. So, I check today and status is pending... still unfulfilled! I contact a representative on the chat who tells me that it will be May before the shoes are shipped. And I let her know that I was given a date of April 30,2021. She rudely responds that they can’t control the manufacturer. So, not only was I lied to about the fulfillment date, but I have to deal with your unprofessional phone agents. I wish I had read these reviews before I ordered!!! Never again!!!

I called waited on hold listing too that horrible horrible music! For a hour! Once I give the person my order asking why haven’t I gotten any updates She put me on hold another fifteen minutes Click back on the line and disconnect the dam call! Very very poor customer service The live chat doesn’t work! I think the music they play while customers are holding is too get the customer too hang up! It’s no way y’all would ever think anyone would like that discussing music! I want to know what’s going on with my order If I don’t get any feed back I will cancel the order and I’m going on the site and do a review

I have an iphone & when im shopping, since there’s no back button, i have to go through all the menus then scroll all the way down to pick the page i was on to get back to my browsing spot after clicking on a pair to shoes to check out. It makes browsing extremely tedious and difficult to the point where i stop browsing after doing that once. If there was a back button i’d give SteveMadden a muchhhh higher rating (and i never write reviews on apps)

With the way people have smart phones, one would think you app would’ve been developed and ok’d by smart people. Obviously not....I used to shop SteveMadden all the times and then 2 years ago you updated to this terrible so called app. I have hoped, prayed, and wished upon a star, for you all to change SteveMadden back to the old version or fix it and you haven’t. In the meantime I haven’t shopped with you all since. At this point I am deleting SteveMadden and will only shop in person or in the website. Thing is I am in front of a computer all day for work so the last thing I want to do is shop from my computer. That means it will be extremely rare before I visit Steve Madden online to shop.
Fix SteveMadden and make it user friendly as this is discouraging customers like me.

I am a huge online shopper and this has to be the most not user friendly ap there is. Once you click on an item, you can’t go back to the previous page. You have to start your search all over again. When you go to customer service to contact them, it says live chat is at the bottom or top of header. Well it’s not there and there’s no way to do a live chat. I find myself always getting frustrated while using this ap. I shop online all the time and always download the Ap for my favorite retailers but honestly this has to be the worst. If your ap was easier to navigate that would make people want to use it more and shop more. Please fix it!!!!!

I have been a loyal SM customer for about 15 years and will still continue to buy the shoes, but may never so much as open SteveMadden ever again. The new interface change is one of the least user-friendly designs I’ve ever seen on any website or app. It’s clear the update had only SM in mind: the entire bottom bar is solely for navigating toward SM marketing and advertising (i.e. Instagram, Facebook, contacting). Navigating between pages is a lot more difficult and I can’t even easily access my “loves” (is that even an option anymore?). SteveMadden is also VERYYYYY slow. I click on something and I get the loading signal for about 20 seconds before the page moves. Worst update ever!

Absolutely horrible app. Actively prevents you from making a purchase in every single way: PayPal option does not work correctly, checking out from account says email is invalid which it is not, and checking out as a guest takes you back to the home screen after you’ve entered all of your information that should already be stored. Absolute trash. Always choose to purchase SM shoes from Nordstrom and was forced to try and purchase from SteveMadden for shoes only featured at SM. Attempting to purchase bridal shoes and all bridesmaid shoes but will literally choose from Nordstrom options because I cannot checkout. Figure it out it’s 2018.

SteveMadden is just like the website and I like having it so it won’t take a tab in safari bc I got lots of those.. also I’m able to go back to the previous page tho the other reviews can’t? From what I read but really the only issue for me is how long it takes to load, but that’s most likely my WiFi or smth but overall nothing bad about SteveMadden rly😊

You wouldn’t think not having a back button would be a big deal, but the absence of one in SteveMadden (as far as I can tell) make browsing or picking up on the previous terribly inefficient. Once you click on a style to view, you have to go back to the main menu and start over to look at another style. That should really be a basic option when navigating a shopping app.

When an app makes me want to shop in store, instead of online, I know there’s something wrong. SteveMadden is the one I use the least because of how difficult it is to view a shoe. You filter the shoes, you scroll, you pick, you view it, you can not enlarge pics and then when you try to go back to what you filtered...YOU CAN’T. You have to start all over. Boooo! Bad app. Bad app. I’ve resorted to saving all the shoes I like in my cart to save me going back and forth. It’s a process. First world problem? Yeah,I know, but SteveMadden could be better. Period-t!

What did y’all just do to your app?? it already was terrible to begin with but then it “updates” and i can’t even shop around cause i need a password. which isn’t even my account password as it didn’t work so what the heck is this password i need to put in?? for the company that steve madden is you think they’d improve their website and app as they both don’t work correctly. there are a lot of smaller companies that have better websites and apps than steve madden. very disappointing and frustrating to use.

I love Steve Madden and am constantly buying shoes from them. However SteveMadden is terrible. I am constantly getting kicked off, the pages don’t load, it is impossible to make a purchase and the one time I did get through with a purchase it went through twice and I got 2 of the exact same shoes (Customer service was very helpful with that). However it’s frustrating to get on SteveMadden , find shoes you like, and then have go through the process of getting kicked off multiple times before just giving up.

Let me start by saying that I LOVE Steve Madden shoes and this review is based solely on SteveMadden . Not only does SteveMadden take forever to load, but if you click on any of the shoes to zoom in/look at the details, it will go all the way back to the beginning of the page when you back out. So, then I have to scroll through page after page of shoes I have already seen, just to get to where I left off. It’s just so frustrating and it has actually stopped me from purchasing shoes before.

Downloaded SteveMadden because I thought I’d be able to save shoes that I like to favorites or heart it...or something..but no.
Also if you scroll and find a shoe that you like and want to go back to the shoes you left off on, it’s impossible because there’s no back button. So basically you have to scroll from the beginning again

I was browsing the brands website on the internet before the link stopped working so I downloaded SteveMadden so I could continue shopping and I wasn’t even on SteveMadden for 10 seconds before it started acting crazy. Website doesn’t function. SteveMadden desperately needs to be fixed. You’re missing so much business because of this terribly functioning app. Don’t waste your time shopping through SteveMadden .

I love Steve Madden shoes. However, this updated app seems to run a tad slower. I’m not sure what happened to the “favorites” tab or being able to save/add a shoe to like a wish list or something and I seem to have constant trouble with logging into SteveMadden . Doesn’t keep you logged in like the old app. Might have to start using the site again for purchases :(

I rarely write reviews but I couldn’t let this one slide because I love this brand. Like many others I’m super disappointed in SteveMadden and it seems it’s gotten worse since I updated it.
It freezes and kicks me out constantly and it’s difficult to navigate. So upsetting I just uninstalled it. I’d rather just use the browser.
