WikEM was just updated for the iPhone X and now things seem to be working well. Hyperlinks has been broken for a while, but now seem to be working again.
This has become my go to app on shift, replacing several other expensive options like pepid and UpToDate! WikEM is fast, concise, has great information, and is free!! Hard to beat.

I love the website. It’s very helpful, a resource I used often during training, and something I turn to on shift sometimes for a refresher or reassurance. However WikEM is unusable. No matter what I do it cannot download the database. It will say “downloading content” for days without change. Even in previous versions when it could download the database the search bar would end up with no results. Now the search bar doesn’t do anything and the clinical pages are empty. To be honest for the last two to three years the quality in WikEM has become extremely poor but now I would tell trainees and colleagues to avoid WikEM.

I love WikEM. I am a paramedic student & tend to have a lot of pharmacology questions. The only thing I would fix is that some of my drugs don’t go into the favorite section when I click the star.
Would really appreciate a minor bug fix on this issue. It’s phenylephrine that I cannot get added to my favorites list which is a shame bc vasopressors are super cool.

I use this all the time on desktop, but can't get it to work on mobile. Says loading initial database then just sits there stuck. Can't access any of the content. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and even making a new account. Nothing works.

Great once I figured out how to download the database! I don’t use this in clinical practice but it’s a good study tool to refresh on topics I’m interested in. Some in the data seems out of date but it’s still a good resource for your knowledge base.

The search function is not working well after the update. There Are many searches that don’t work now. If you type in rash for example it will not give you options for general rash if gives you other options. But if you go to pigmented rash after searching rash it has a link to “general rashes” that you can click on. Please fix it. I’ve been having to rely more on uptodate and ALIEM because of this. Its a shame because a good app was ruined with a “big fix” update.

Great app but suddenly cannot log in through WikEM on my 6s. Keeps giving incorrect password. Message popped up sending me a new temporary password. Tried that on WikEM and did not work. Signed in on a browser on my 6s and was able to change password and log in with the browser but not with WikEM . Still says incorrect password. Deleted and reinstalled app but still incorrect password. Relying on browser for now.

Agree with all the love stated by others, but WikEM needs some work! Every time it gets an update, you have to keep your phone manually open while it downloads or else the update starts over. Could use some tweaking to make the UI more friendly!

As an EM intern WikEM easily become my go to resource on shift. My only complaint is as a military provider now working in environments without internet or cellular service the login page of WikEM precludes me from using it.

This is a very useful and well-organized resource for medical professionals, including paramedics. Best thing is it is feee. Must be certain one understands what is here to get full use as it is such a broad subject compendium.

I bought WikEM and it will not download the content. Tried deleting it and downloading it again..... plugging it into a power source.....tried using different WIFIs and then cellular data. Turned my phone on and off.... did a “hard reset”. I have 30 GB left on my phone’s storage. Still, it just says “downloading content” for hours. What can I do to fix this?

It has been about three months since this application actually worked, and I originally paid for the upgraded subscription. There has been no fix for the permanently non-uploading content that renders WikEM useless. It has great content, but if it doesn’t function, it is useless.

It’s a very nice application, and it’s so useful during the clinical practice in the field.
I adviced all medical students, interns , residents, to appload it and enjoy its features.
Thank you for the creators..

Paid for WikEM years back and used it extensively while working the ED. Stopped for awhile and went back to it, now I continue to get an internal error message. Tried resetting my password several times and even created a new account but still no go.

Amazing app and information. Hard to use on iPhone if you use dark mode because search bar becomes unreadable. Thanks for the great material!

Will appreciate if you will make it compatible with iPhone 5 -beside other compatible iPhones- in your next update.
Thanks
WikEM was great and working well before your update on Aug 15, 2019 when I update it to my iPhone 5 without warning from your site that this update is not compatible with iPhone5, after that update WikEM never open, so if you make your forthcoming update be compatible with iPhone beside other newest generations of Apple.
Thanks
Still I hope that you will make WikEM compatible with iPhone 5 beside other compatible devices in your next update.
Thanks

It’s pretty surprising that this won’t support landscape positioning, since that’s how most people use their iPads.
Content seems good, but that doesn’t help if I can’t get to it because of display problems.

Great source of centralized and simplified information for use in the field, made for and by emergency physicians.

Just downloaded WikEM and it won’t show anything.
Was able to finally download content. Very useful.

WikEM is so helpful to brush up on important history, physical exam, and treatment considerations quickly without having to get bogged down in the tiny details.

Anytime you click on them, they enlarge and are super blurry and can’t be seen/read. Kind of defeats the purpose of having them as a resource.
