App not responding

My History app continues to freeze up and fails to continue. The lips also do not match the words being spoken. I have closed it; started it over and turned it off; but to no avail. Help.

I am using the History App on a Samsung Smart TV, but it runs for a few minutes then starts repeating the same scene over and over again. I think it is trying to go to a commercial, but insteads just gets stuck in a loop showing the same scene. I have deleted and reloaded the app already.

History app on Firestick skips, delays, boots back to home, sometimes runs smoothly but when we compare other apps on the same night and check our wifi speed, it all turns out to be the History app and not our issues.

It boots me off in the middle of a program. Then I have to watch the ads again. It doesn’t do this always but when it does you can pretty much plan on it doing it multiple times

Constant problems, freezes, won't load, constantly caching. I have very fast comcast cable and a brand new tv, no issues with any other channel or app. Terrible experience

Will not play. Loads History and then displays message “We’re having a hard time loading your shows. Check back later and try again.” — was working just fine Monday 6/19/23 now just this message. This is on my Dell laptop. iPhone works perfectly. I want on laptop for big screen.

Every time I start an episode of The Secret Of SkinWalker Ranch, I don't get through the first ad and the app freezes! I am hard-wired using an ethernet cable to my cable modem and all connections are good. None of the other streaming on do on my Fire Stick has this issue, so it has to be the History App!

The app stops, freezes, goes back to the beginning. How can I correct it?

I’m in Australia why can’t I download the History Channel app? How can I get the app on my iPad ?

Quite often lately the shows don't conclude, but skip to new topic leaving maybe 5 or 10 minutes unshown. One minute we're learning about Mexico and the next we're at the start of a program on Sumeria.

I went to re open my app on both my iPad and iPhone XR and got a “We’re having a hard time loading your shows. Check you network connection and make sure your device is set to the current date and time.” I had left the app running for a while, with no activity, before this. I get the same error message on the iPad and the iPhone. I just want to watch my History Channel shows. What can I do? Thanks.

I've purchased a subscription to spectrum streaming service specifically for " History channel". It freezes up at every commercial, I have to exit the service and then re-enter after every commercial, and they have a lot( like every 8-10 minutes. This is not worth the constant work.

Keeps stopping

I down loaded the History Channel app. When I open the app, i receive a connection error stating “check your network and make sure your device is set to the current date and time”. My TV is connected to the netwrok. All other apps work. I cannot find anywhere on my TV where tou set the day and time. Please help. I love the history channel and want to watch it 🙂

The History App just gets hung up on startup and won't open then a thin red line appears from top to bottom or get the time and date don't seam to match error. I have deleted/loaded the App many-many times with no difference. Installs and works on my other devices and other Apps work on my Samsung just fine.

Not showing new shows

Your App won't open on my Samsung smart TV? I have done all the trouble shooting steps from Samsung, but no joy. The History App just gets hung up on startup and won't open. I have deleted/loaded and deleted/reloaded the App many-many times now and no difference. I plan to delete it now and wondering if I will ever come back to watch History. Especially when my other Apps work just fine.

App error occurs and says date time do not match my Samsung Smart TV. I have removed and redownloaded (as this happened last year) but this year it will not fix.

It works fine on my Google Pro 6 phone but it's hard to keep working on my Android TV

History channel app crashes on my Smart TV upon opening.

I tried to watch the newest episodes of Kings of Pain on my smart tv. It would only show the full first season and the 1st episode of season 2. meanwhile, on my phone it shows all old and new episodes. any solutions? just so its made aware Kings of Pain does not require me to sign into a tv provider, which many people do not have nowadays.
