Forced by school system to use Nutrislice. It simply did not work and did not make sense:
-can not log in with credential I just created
-tried to reset password with registered email but received a note it can only be changed by manually calling the service
-I found my school and kids but my MySchoolBucks balance never show up
-I went to my account, and try to set up payments to MySchoolBucks. It does not proceed to next step and then a few minutes later, the option completely disappeared
-I wasted 2 hours trying different ways to order lunch but failed. There are absolutely no prompts or indication of what is wrong and what is needed

This is the most stupid school app ever, no second!

We’ve used Nutrislice for a few years and the last update greatly reduced the functionality. With kids in middle school and elementary school, it’s much more cumbersome to find a menus each day. Saving a school to a Favorite still requires a click as returning home doesn’t default to favorite, but rather a list of all schools.
Every time having to choose from breakfast and lunch, without being able to disable to hide one is annoying. Having to scroll past the messaging every meal is ridiculous as well. Every week day, after clicking on the meal, the same generic message appears before the menu. We scroll past it, but why does it even have to be there?
Please return the ease of use to Nutrislice.

Maybe we are too organized, but we plan meals by the month. It was great when we could print the whole month’s menu and our kids could go through and indicate hot or cold lunch.
Helps to plan in advance am I packing them a lunch or not and what foods to get in the house.
So being able to see more than one day is mandatory for me to use Nutrislice . Actually I don’t need to see any days on Nutrislice , just print the monthly menu.
Which right now I can’t get the website version to do either. Sure I should save a tree, but I also need to keep my sanity by seeing lunch needs at a glance on my refrigerator.
Developers, please work on print friendly version of a monthly menu. Thank you!

I’ve used Nutrislice approximately a year from August 2019 to present. The update recently done is horrible. My favorite school used to automatically pop up. Now every time I open Nutrislice I have to search my location to access my favorite school. Accessing and toggling between breakfast and lunch were also easier in the older version.

My school district implemented Nutrislice for lunch ordering for elementary school. You have to select each day, select each child (even if you only have one child signed up, it defaults to “add new profile”, instead of defaulting to the child), add the teacher (in elementary school, can’t the teacher be set up as part of the profile?), then place your order.

I tried to contact the developer via their website but their “contact us” page only allows business emails, so another area for improvement.

The above fixes (defaulting to a child if there’s only one or even letting a caregiver select which child they’re ordering for at the outset, not having to select the teacher / time for each order because they do not vary) would be really helpful.

Nice app but I would suggest some modifications to make it much better.
If you allowed the user to be able to access the actual day they needed it would be much more helpful rather than searching through everyday, including Sat and Sun, to get there.
Also, if I need to get off of Nutrislice for a sec or answer a phone call all of my cart disappears by the time I get back to finishing my order.
Perhaps you can have a gluten free option under “filter and highlights”.
Also, if I always desire a specific drink or if I always select gluten free it would be helpful if my account could automatically default to it.
One last thing, can you offer gluten free bagels?
BTW- when selecting contacts Nutrislice doesn’t respond. This is why I writing a review here and not sending directly to this app.

I’m guessing this app’s servers can not handle the early am blitz of parents searching school menus. I frequently access Nutrislice around 6:30 am CT, and 8 time out of 10, Nutrislice either doesn’t load or it takes an inordinate amount of time. We have many other fiends with the same issue. Looks like I’ll need to use the school’s website instead. Great concept here, but Nutrislice isn’t ready to be useful in today’s world.

So. I downloaded Nutrislice like a year ago. I deleted cause. I didn’t need it. And I got it today. For my schools lunch. And. My school is very confusing to spell. And there’s a limit?! I don’t want to waste my time looking how to spell my school and then wait for Nutrislice to let me look for lunch. My lunch is after my 4th period class and it’s the end of 4th period. I need to know what is for lunch.

Why isn’t there a full month menu to look at or print? I plan for the week to see if my kids will eat lunch at school or at home. I can’t even get a weekly view. So, every morning I’m looking to see what’s for breakfast/lunch at two different schools. Please make a monthly or weekly view and the availability for print. Nobody has time to put input these into excel. Schools no longer provide a monthly print out. PLEASE!!!

Nutrislice has been helpful to prepare my new kindergartner what’s for breakfast and lunch each day. But how come you only offer one hot side item for lunch? Everyday it’s been like that. Most schools have 2-3 options for sides.

Nutrislice works for its intended purpose for the most part, but I have some suggestions

- Please stop signing me out every time I use Nutrislice . I understand security is a concern but at least give us the option to remain logged in, or request a biometric authentication upon placing an order. Also the “remember me on this device” on the login screen does not work. I have to re enter my email address and password everyday.

- it’s frustrating to have to check the box for every category when adding an item to a cart. I tried to order a coffee this morning but was required to check like 8 boxes before I could add it to the cart, even though I wasn’t customizing the coffee at all.

Nutrislice is an absoulute god send, and I use it every day. It is extremely useful for seeing what I will be eating. That being said, sometimes I need to check what I am eating while I have no internet. My cell service is always very good, and I experience little to no issues with any other apps. this app never loads up without internet, and tells me to try again. It loops until I get to a place with internet, then it loads. I find this extremely annoying. I love Nutrislice, but please, fix this issue.

Nutrislice is much more convenient than getting the paper lunch menus. It could load a bit faster, though. It takes about a minute or two to load the menus, which is quite annoying if I’m in a hurry. It also very rarely gives inaccurate menu items, which is a bit annoying but doesn’t happen very often. I’ll give it five stars if these issues are fixed.

I love Nutrislice because we chose our school and then it tells us what is for lunch very helpful if you don’t know what is for lunch, the only thing I don’t like about this is that every time I open Nutrislice it always has a notification saying “ menu app available” when I already have Nutrislice ! Pls change that is you are reading this developer!!! Thank you!

I know a lot of people have been hating on Nutrislice , but, in my experience, It’s actually not bad. Very simple. Just type your district name then choose your school then BAM launched me right it the menus just like that. Overall very convenient. Nice.

It’s a well planned app. I am a busy parent and have to plan my weeks with my kiddos. I found my children’s school with ease, and can see everything! I would recommend for sure to all parents.

I love being able to see what I have for lunch slash breakfast, it is very useful and I recommend getting this if your child wants to see the menu for the week.

App works great. Except that if you are not on Nutrislice for more than 12 hours it seems to sign you out. It’s very annoying to have to re type my name and password in every time. Please fix this

I’ve been looking for an app that shows my schools lunch/breakfast menus since I popped out my moms womb; this is honestly a god send and the best thing in existence! I can find all the menus and food so easily and it’s absolutely wonderful, now I can get in the mood for what I’m having, buy an extra one, and even share with my friends!! 12/10 would app again!!!!!!

I can view the school’s menu online but the school is not listed on Nutrislice . Therefore, Nutrislice is useless to me and all the students at my child’s elementary school.

Updated: I did add the school district and all the schools in the district popped up. Thank you for clarifying!

Thought it might be helpful to have Nutrislice , but as far as I can tell, you can’t see a weekly or monthly view of the menus. At least on the website you can see this by rotating your phone to landscape from portrait mode. Who wants to tap the “next” arrow to scroll through the school week when our can just stay with the website.

I have used Nutrislice for the past 2 years and have loved it. I went to check the menu for the first day of school and with the new update I can not pull up our school nor any other schools in the district... guess I will just be printing it off from the school website. I am not sure what happened but very disappointed.

Because I can see all of the manu in the Gwinnett public school County and also I can see have many Calories are in the food that all the Student eat and what are they allergic to like nuts wheat dairy Etc
