I had paid for Upflix on 2018 & when charged the phone I had to re install Upflix .
I emailed the dev asking to restore my paid version & has been 1 month that the decision hasn’t bother replying to me .

I had the this app VIP app, which is the same app without ads. Had it for years. One day, it stopped working and doesn’t pull any movies in anymore. I contacted the dev and heard nothing back. I tried downloading Upflix and selected “Restore Purchases” in case that would remove the ads (as it’s supposed to in Upflix) but it doesn’t recognize my purchase because it was for their other app. Bait and switch. Not cool. I’ll be switching to another app.

Upflix literally doesn’t work at all !!! i tried reinstalling it, updating my ios version, and restarting my phone, and still, when i open Upflix , the home screen doesn’t load a single thing, same goes for the categories tab, all blank screens. im on a 12 pro max running ios 15.

i decided to use onflix instead, works flawlessly.

I try to open Upflix and a Mandarin ad fills the screen, presenting me with two options... I have no idea what I would possibly agree to if I click either option, so it's literally impossible to use Upflix ... DELETED

This used to be a great app to see the newest movies and shows added to Netflix throughout the month. The most recent update doesn’t work, won’t load titles anymore so I’m deleting it and finding another app that actually works. If it aint broke don’t fix it.

Every time I refresh the page, all titles disappear. Absolutely nothing is there and I can’t refresh again because it won’t let me. I restart Upflix but still, the titles won’t show.

Whats the point in even having Upflix when you legit just have to download netflix, and if you cant find the movie you're looking for then just search up if they have it in your country, I do not reccomend Upflix. 😡

Unable to put movies in my cache from app. It has never worked! What’s the purpose of Upflix ?

I’ve always loved Upflix, but ever since the big update, I’ve had trouble opening the links to read more about the title. It just says “loading” and freezes until you close out of Upflix . While there are some titles I know a bit about and this just serves as a reminder to watch, having to individually look up the other titles really isn’t a great experience. Hope this is fixed soon and I can change my rating back to a 5!

Absolutely loved and utilized Upflix all the time and was SUPER excited to see the addition of the others (Prime, HBO Max, etc), however, with those additions Upflix has become generally useless. Selections won’t load to preview 90% of the time and causes the screen to freeze. I have to force close Upflix so many times I eventually just give up. Hoping the developers have a solution so I can resume using it!!!

The “roulette” (random title) feature is utterly worthless, as it continually chooses titles that it *says* are available on Netflix, but aren’t *actually* available on Netflix.

The rest of Upflix is mediocre, but works ok, it seems.

I wish Upflix had some more tv shows like outer banks that is my favorite show and they don’t have it I downloaded Upflix so I could watch my favorite shows (such as outer banks) I just wish that they would add more shows please and thank you others than that this is a great app to have

It’s about time to learn what’s new on Netflix without guessing and wondering if you’re missing some FRESH NEW MOVIES! With “this app” it’s put right in front of you every single week! Why Netflix thinks the movies being watched the most in their “Top Ten” most viewed by others they think is so important, is frankly useless to me! I want the NEW LIST OF MOVIES JUST ADDED TO Netflix! With this app you know each & EVERY WEEK! “BRAVO this app!”

I personally think Upflix is not bad like say if a new show comes
On that you’ve been meaning to watch you might not realize it’s on Netflix now and that’s it’s purpose to tell you what is on Netflix and what is not all the reviews that say it’s trash are people who either thought that it had all the Netflix stuff and was free which would be stupid or who think you don’t need it and you can search it up but both are wrong because if you think you get all the stuff for free that’s on Netflix are people who are to lazy or to young to be paying for it and the people who say you can just search for it are people that you should do something all on your own even if you need help

This is always helpful when I’m looking for something to watch on Netflix it’s great. If I had one suggestion though it might be cool if it could possibly use your own profile to recommend new shows or movies that you you might be interested in. Anyway recommend Upflix very much.

When I stumbled across Upflix, I was excited for a minute. From the description it sounds like a nice app for finding a movie. I was very disappointed at it didn't feel like Upflix I actually wanted. The only filters are for the genre/topic, there isn't anything life changing about them. There isn't even a filter for the movie ratings. If I wanted to pick through the genre, I can just use Netflix, so what is the point of Upflix, other than to tell you the ratings from IMDb and rotten tomatoes.
I may return to Upflix in a few years, but right now the idea isn't fully fleshed out. Please add a way to filter by movie ratings, so I can finally filter out R-rated material.

I truly don’t get Upflix. It seems to conspire against everything we would really want or need in an app such as this. For instance, what if I just wanted a list of the top 10 best sci-fi/fantasy series on Netflix? Doesn’t seem to be able to do this! (A 5-second Google search can). It can’t choose between series and movies. If I tap any of the logos (Netflix, Rotten Tomato’s, etc), it will give me the top rated titles, but not separated by genre, or by movie vs series, so that’s useless to me. If I use the silly roulette wheel (why?!), I can choose the genre, but it only delivers one at a time. Then I need to spin again and it will often deliver the same title a dozen times, or cycle through 2 or 3, and I’ll never get any comprehensive list, or anything I can use. Am I missing something?

I downloaded Upflix , opened it up and started to use it. It crashed. No biggie, I restarted my iPad for a clean slate and then opened Upflix again. It asked me to rate it. I selected that I would rate it later. I found a title that I wanted to put in my queue, selected that option and Upflix crashed again. No biggie, I've seen this on other apps and it just takes a few crashes sometimes to work things out.

Every time I open Upflix , it asks me to rate it. I've only opened it 4 times, two times it crashed and it's already asking for a rating. So my initial rating is 1 star. I'll continue using it and hopefully be able to upgrade my star count.

My suggestion to the developer is to allow more time before asking for a review. I need a chance to use it before rating it.

I’ve used this app for several months and up until recently would have given it 4 or 5 stars for the ability to see new movies and ratings. It’s great to have that info to make good Netflix selections.

Upflix works great on my iPhone but stopped working on my iPad (although it used to). It wants you to select the country you are in but you can’t actually select one so you cannot go past that screen. Ive uninstalled and reinstalled Upflix and it works for a while on the iPad. But after a short period of time you are stuck on the country screen again. Frustrating.

I’ve had Upflix for some time now. At first it actually worked on both iPad and iPhone. The only complaint I had then was that sometimes their information was wrong (wrong information for movie with identical or similar name, wrong pictures for certain movies, etc.) Not really that big a thing (to me anyway). Lately, Upflix won’t work on my iPad. I’ll delete Upflix , download it again and it will work once. I’ll close Upflix , open it again and it will ask me for my country, I’ll choose U.S and then it won’t go anywhere from there? Life is too short to let it really upset me, but I think the manufacturer of Upflix should fix this problem. If you look at the other reviews, I’m not the only one experiencing this.

It does show new releases, but I didn't check to see how the list compares to other sites that show them to see if Upflix has everything. However it does also show movies that are no longer on Netflix, making it unusable imo. Also, it only sorts things by Netflix release date once you pick the category you want (of which there are lots) but it could really benefit from being able to sort by the year the show/movie is from or its rating. It does show various ratings for the film besides just netflix's, which is nice, but you basically just have to scroll through and look to find the best rated ones. All in all, I'll stick to instantwatcher instead of letting this take up space on my device.

Netflix’s interface changes during the past few years have made it increasingly hard to tell whether they're recommending videos my wife and I will actually like, or just videos that Netflix wants to promote. this app provides a workaround for this by displaying a list of videos available on Netflix along with the ratings from several rating sites (imdb, metacritic, rottentomatoes, flixter).

this app also provides a way to use those ratings as a filter. In principle, this feature could be greatly useful. The problem - and unfortunately it's a big one - is that there's no way for the user to see a list of the filtered videos! Instead, there is just a "roulette" feature to choose one of them at random. This makes the filter nearly useless.

Not bad at all! I really didn't expect much. I was looking for an app that could give me suggestions for new movies to add to "My List" on Netflix. A competing app cost too much relative to ratings and so I continued my search and came upon this. I was pleasantly surprised. It's ability to give you ratings from various outlets is very helpful and its one word distillation description is a plus. It doesn't waste space by merely regurgitating what is available elsewhere. And I was able to add movies to "My List" with ease. On the downside, the type is a little small and it still calls "My List" the "Queue." But this developer issues many releases and I think we can expect that Upflix will only improve.

This shows every movie, comedy, etc. that is released on Netflix and it shows much more than is shown on the "New Releases" on Netflix. Ease of use is great, easy to add titles to your Netflix queue straight from the this app App. I also like that besides descriptions and the cast list, they include ratings from IMDB, rotten tomatoes, etc.
The only reason I gave it 4 Stars is that I like some foreign films and subtitles but I wish that you could select which international films/languages you wanted to show up on your daily list. Some days the the list for the day will be a long list and they will all be foreign/international movies from countries that I am not interested in and and sometimes they don't list them as international so you have to watch the trailer to find out.

You know the frase "People who have Netflix spend more looking for a movie to watch than actually watching them"? Well Upflix came to solve this problem. Simply and easy to use, and what's more accurate in it is the way the categories are divided. I just missed other categories such as 1st and 2nd World War categories separeted from the rest of the War movies, movies suggestions based on the ones I've watched and a space for movie comments from the users! Also, the brazilian catalogue is incomplete!

Sometimes it's really hard to find something to watch. Upflix lets you choose the category and it'll randomly select one for you. Also, it has so many categories to choose from that it's kinda impossible not to find at least one movie you enjoy especially because of the filters you can put to specifically look for a certain type of movie. Five stars!

I just started using Upflix and it makes it so much easier to pick a movie or show!
If you're like me and someone who will spend the length of a film looking for an actual movie to watch this will change the game!
PLUS! The categories are so specific (I.E. Blue Collar Stand up Comedy, Zombie Apocalypse Dramas, African American RomComs...) you will be able to quickly find exactly what you need.

(And you don't need to spend the $1 on the no ad version. The ads are tiny and no biggie)

By far the best app to accompany Netflix. Upflix helps you navigate all that Netflix has to offer. You can search genres, titles, or even a list of recommended movies and tv shows. It also gives you a daily list of what has been added to Netflix and how long it will be available to play. Truly one of the best and most useful apps available.

If you don’t have this app you are not using Netflix to you best ability. Everyday I get a notification to see what is new on Netflix. I click, I look, if I like something I go to Netflix and mark it. My que is always filled with stuff I want to see. Without the this app list I would miss a lot of shows that don’t meet my logarithm criteria. With this app I can see everything. And it is free. There is one print ad when I open Upflix . I x it out and done. I have access to everything released. Not sure why you would pay for “no ad”. It is only 1 ad, but whatever. .99 is cheap for no ads I guess.

As a rebuttal to other low ratings, this is not an app where I would go searching for something to watch. People are asking for this free app to do so many things. Like I said, it is a list of whatevers new on Netflix that day. Not a search engine to find something to watch.

So many options -- but so many bad movies! This thing does a pretty good job of telling me what I'm jumping into -- more than Netflix itself does. I used Upflix for nearly 6 months before reviewing it, so I'm not jumping to conclusions here -- Upflix is well-designed, well maintained (seems to update every time a film is added) and endlessly useful.
