I thought I forgot my zone 6 MBTA pass this morning so on the train, I attempted to purchase a ticket using the mTicket app. I thought I did it correctly, but it didn't seem to work - I suspected a connectivity error as I was on the train. I then waited a couple minutes and tried again and purchased a ticket. When I looked at my ticket wallet, now both tickets are there. Is there a way to refund them? You can tell they are purchased in error as they are purchased only a couple minutes apart. I know they don't expire but I then found my (very expensive) zone 6 monthly pass.
my mTicket account username is david.rawding@redacted I bought (or tried to buy) two senior discount tickets on Purple line between Reading and North Station. I put in all required credit card information, but the screen said I had something wrong in red letters. I immediately got a notice from my credit card company via text that a $7.00 charge had been made to my credit card. I then went back in mTicket to see if I had two tickets, but had none. Bottom line, mTicket managed to get $7.00 from my credit card, but apparently thought it had failed. Please respond and let me know how you will send me $7.00 or credit my credit card account. I don't want two tickets between Reading and North station as I paid on the train and seldom need to ride the train. David Rawding
