Photo Timer+ Reviews

Photo Timer+ is a basic camera timer app that works well. No bells and whistles but it does a great job at taking pictures with specific intervals between shots and lets the user set the number of shots in the photo sequence. You can also set the flash mode which is great. I also like the audible countdown timer, so I know when the shot is about to snap. I just wish the countdown voice was a lot louder.


I would just love a few enhancements (I would be glad to pay significantly extra for) to make PhotoTimer even more useful: I would love to see some basic camera options – for example, I would like to use the iPhone’s portrait mode but there are no options like that currently. Also, it would be great if I could say “Camera Shot” out loud to start the photo sequence. I use PhotoTimer while fishing a lot, and don’t want the timer to start until I get in position with the fish in my hands.

This is a wonderful app for what it does and it, mostly, functions how you’d expect. With a could features it would be really perfect. 1) the ability to select what album to save photos to rather than directly in the main camera roll. This way, if you leave it for a long time, you can start with some organization. As it is, the Gallery feature is only so useful since you can easily switch to Photos to see the image. 2) More granular control over the intervals and total time. Right now, 30 minutes is as long as it goes, but unlimited should be the upper limit instead. All that said, this is a great app for what it is so good job!

Everyone wants to only make bad reviews and as a follow business owner it’s tough because you’ve done what theyve paid you to do as that’s what they expect and you should do so you gotta actually ask them to make the review, so I don’t make many of these but when it’s doing exactly what you wanted and paid for I gotta leave a good one. It always loads quick and never glitches like the first one I got would freeze up when I had it take multiples and I paid $.99 and this is free. Keep it up.

My only complaint is I wish there wasn't a picture limit. For example I wish you could set it so that when it's on it takes pictures until you shut it off. I use this primarily when I go hiking and sometimes it takes me a little longer to get into position. In those instances I make the interval longer but then I dont know when to move as I can't hear the cues. Ideally I'd like to take pictures at a 5 second interval until I turn it off so I can be sure I got the shot I want. It's a fantastic app and bravo to the creator for putting this together on their own!

Super easy, and I’m not techy. Photos go straight to my phone photo folder as well. Did a family photo shoot on Thanksgiving, this one seems quite simple and easy, taking multiple photos and you choose the amount of time between the photos, with countdowns so you know when to expect the pictures. Only thing I would like would be the option for portrait photo filter as well, but this was fabulous and a huge blessing to capture our family.

PhotoTimer is AMAZING😉. It helps me SOOO much. Like when I am trying to take a picture my arm is always in the way because I have to press the button, so it doesn’t look good. But then I found PhotoTimer!! I am so glad that I thought of this I was trying to take a good pic for my app accounts and I’m just like what if there was a timer for a picture like on the school computer 💻., so I was wondering if it was real so I searched for it on PhotoTimer Store and I found it thx🙏, SOOOOOOOOOOOO much for making this.!!!!!!!!!!!

I work on set and the photos I’ve been able to get with PhotoTimer has been nothing but helpful and at times a lifesaver. I only ask if it would be possible to add a function to create albums/ files to put the photos into, so they are easier to find. In my case I take photos of scenes and if can put photos into a dedicated album based off of that it would be very helpful!

For years I used a real camera with built in timers. Those days are gone. But I was always disappointed that my smart iPhone did not have a remote camera timer feature. Until I found PhotoTimer. It’s awesome! So simple to use and yet it does more than any camera timer I ever used does. So, thank you. One more reason to never have to fool with a traditional camera again.

I love PhotoTimer !!! I use it for drills and review . I would like it if the photo triggered on the “ one “ count but that’s me .I hear the one and the moment that I’m looking to photograph comes a one count after the countdown . 3,2,1...photo . It’s takes some getting used to but I think PhotoTimer is an improvement over the older photo timer and is a joy to use as well a great tool . Thanks !!!

So far PhotoTimer has been quick and easy to use. I like that the photos save automatically to your camera roll because it would take long to save one by one. A suggestion I have is if you could please have the option to change that sizing of the photo or ration. For example I want to take a photo with 1:1 rato but there is only 3:4 ratio I believe

I needed a simple controller that would signal me when it took a picture. I was creating a stop motion clip of me coming down my stairs and moving across my from walk. With Bluetooth ear buds I could clearly hear the 3-2-1 countdown and the shutter click. No ads plastered all over my pictures. Highly recommend!

I have had PhotoTimer for about a month now and I generally like the idea of taking selfies without have the phone in your hand. However, I think the camera on PhotoTimer could be bigger in my option like how Instagram and Snapchat be having. On the other hand, this is a good app to use for action pictures and catching certain angles that you could never really get.

I set up my tripod and program PhotoTimer to take 10 photos every 3 seconds! Perfect! I used it the entire Cancun trip and got all the shots I wanted without hassling my husband to take this photo and that one and, well, you get the picture. 😁 This is my new favorite app.

I downloaded PhotoTimer because I wanted I timer for my photos for my social media’s instead of manually holding my phone. I got PhotoTimer because it was the first recommended one once I searched it up. PhotoTimer works flawlessly. It’s quick, efficient, and everything I have wanted in order to keep my VSCO and other apps poppin!😊

I’ve been using PhotoTimer for years, but haven’t in a couple, so am delighted to see some improvements! I always loved it, but it used to output much lower resolution photos. Now it’s full resolution – hallelujah! The functionality I need (I’m a musician and self portrait artist) at the resolution I hoped for!

If you would allow the interval to be unlimited it would allow people to use it as an interval camera for longer duration projects of things they want to be captured possibly every10 minutes over the course of 1 week.

I’ve been asking all my tech savvy friends if something like this exist and the answer was NO! I always used this feature on my 35mm camera. Everyone loves selfies. I don’t unless I’m with a friend and they take them. I love this feature on my camera and now I could use it on my iPhone/IPad.

i was tired of using the iphone timer that takes a burst of pictures (that are all the same and annoying to go thru) but this was perfect for taking as many as i want w a few seconds in between — i didnt have to go back to click the button anymore and i had time to change how i was standing instead of having a burst of 10 of the same photo!! definitely recommend. im not sure what the paid version is (or if there is one) but i use the free version and it does exactly what i need

I’m always wanting to take pictures of myself doing different things. I send them to my parents that I’m blessed to still have with me even though they’re in their mid eighties. They get a big kick out of it. Thank you so much.

That being said would love to see greater user control... With a limit of 50 photos at this time is not exactly what I was hoping for but will work for my current needs.

It does what it says it will do without error. I’d been looking for awhile for an app that would consistently allow me to take multiple photos hands free because I often have to take series photos for work and this did the trick.

Wonderful to set deals before pictures are taken.

Nice to be able to set number of pics to take. However more than 10 would be very nice option.

For me, the delay between pictures would not adjust and would only do 3 second interval. This sadly makes PhotoTimer to much work as it gives no time between pics to reposition.
