Hitask: Team Task Management Reviews

I just got this app last week. It’s features seem to fit my needs better than any other Task Management app that I have tried (and I have tried many). Today, I got this message at 3:55am: "Oops! There is a service error. Try again in a few minutes." I thought that maybe they were down for routine maintenance during the “wee” hours of the morning. So I went back to bed. Now it is 8:19am and I am getting the same message. I went to Chat Support to find out when service would be restored. I saw this message: “Looks like some services are not working.” I recognize that sometimes “snafus” can happen with technology. I would just like some clear communication on when to expect resumption of service, so that I know how to adjust my plans.

I hope this is not a regular pattern of performance because, no matter how great the features are, an app that does not work reliably is of little use to anyone and a waste of customer’s time and money.

I wonder if customer service will give me the courtesy of a response.

My law firm has been using this app for over a year. In June 2018 the sync with my Google calendar became disabled. I have repeatedly asked customer support for assistance fixing this and it has never been resolved. I was able to live with that issue until this past month when I tried to add my new associate to our team and was unable to do so, which meant I could not assign tasks to him. Again the issue was never resolved with Roman at customer support.

I asked for a pro rated refund as I could not continue to use Hitask for my business and rather than accommodate a long time customer, Roman decided to hide behind the non refundable provision of the service agreement. Obviously as an attorney I know what that means, but it doesn’t mean that it is the right thing to do. Very disappointed in the issues we had with Hitask and the lack of customer support.

I like the setup, Hope can have CRM features. I type all contact info to “Clients tab” but not organized. if you can add CRM would make Hitask perfect.

Much better than the web based version — which is fast, but clunky and a little glitchy (description field doesn’t play well with Google sheet urls).

Still looking for an alternative. Not that happy. Stuck with it for now because our team uses it.

We purchased the year subscription to use this as a job scheduling platform. We have had multiple issues with sync errors and error messages when trying to add or move tasks. Tech support has only responded to my concern once and has yet to solve the issue.

I have all my employees connected and managing project has never been easier. Definitely an app to invest in .

A solid tool. Name could be better. And there are certain things about it that if they added or changed would make it six stars but overall solidly functional

Hitask as been very good for our company to start using, easy to us, we have look for a app like this for years

Our 4 people small business is now more productive with Hitask. We don’t have an office but this app is our place to work.

We’ve demoed probably 30 task team management apps. this app and TickTick are the best ones out there right now. Great job guys.

Stay away from Hitask. They will take your money and provide no support, Hitask is not syncing correctly with the web based app which creates a lot of mistakes. When you reach out they either ignore you or tell there is nothing wrong with their system...

Oh and if you call to cancel make sure you document it. Because they will lie and keep billing you as they did with me. We moved to Producteev since it’s so much better. Apparently they didn’t like that. Bad way to attempt to retain customers.

Good app to coordinate projects or tasks with people. Effective and to the point.
Will consider the full version soon.

Everything we need, simple and clean.

Would not work for the phone system I searched for. They came up first for search and was not even being close to being compatible.

This is a great improvement over the previous version!!

The UI is very slick and overall this has become a serious contender in terms of competing with other more well known todo apps.

One of the criticisms I have of Hitask is that the sorting is not implemented very well and there are not that many options like setting reminders on the iPhone, options in the settings and that the calendar takes pretty much the entire space leaving very less scope to scroll through the tasks.

But overall I love Hitask - if the team can resolve some of the issues I will become a paying customer - and that's a lot because I have tried almost every todo application out there!!!!

Crashed 3 times so far today.

I've searched high and low for an app that would provide a better way for my assistant and I to communicate about clients. Hitask is easy to learn and provides to-do lists in such a way that you can see 1) all items needed for each client 2) a separate screen to see all tasks assigned to you for each client 3) a separate screen to see all tasks assigned to your assistant for each client and 4) the status of whether those tasks have been completed. No more missed deadlines because your assistant didn't see your email to prepare a pleading.

Customer support was quick and answered my questions completely. The security appears adequate. Everything is in the cloud so you have access from all of your devices. The only complaint I have is that sub-tasks do not indicate the project name in the team members to-do list on my i-pad. Would love for Hitask to eventually become an add-in with One Note.

Hitask is fantastic and is a great way to do project management.......sorta. It's free at first but then it requires a subscription which isn't mentioned. And honestly it's Hitask as good as t is, it deserves my money. If I had a larger team it's a no brainer. Since it's just me, it's harder to justify spending money. Thankfully there IS a free version that only allows 5 team members. I just wish they would have been honest up front. The bait and switch tactic keeps this from being 5 stars.
