Zoho Cliq - Team Communication Reviews

I use all zoho applications for my job and I love being able to use the apps on my phone as well, especially zoho Cliq. However recently I’m noticing it really needs to be fixed. The program slows my phone down entirely when it’s open, it also randomly crashes, and often has trouble keeping up with my pace of typing. Sometimes i press the backspace button and nothing happens. I have to close the entire application, then go back in and erase whatever text in the message i intended to erase. Please fix this immediately, it’s really becoming quite an inconvenience. I believe it may be zoho as a whole, as the Cliq application also crashes on my computer (windows) at times. Regardless it’s a great program if you can get it up to speed with 2020 technology and pacing.

The developers never concede to any feedback regarding their inability to abide by their own notification settings and it is frankly quiet annoying. I have had issues with Cliq's notification settings and they are never willing to do anything about it. Example, I have it set to only send me a push notification on my phone only if there has been 10 minutes of inactivity on the desktop. I can responding to a message I just received and get a push notification. Fix your abusive notification settings and make them follow the rules you are telling the user.

Edit: Simultaneous notifications should've never been an option for a messaging app. When users have multiple devices it is very disruptive when for one notification you'd get 2 to 3 times the notifications for every single message.

Please fix! It’s been 3 weeks since your last app update. I really on notifications! Very important.

We moved everything over from Slack hoping that Cliq would be a better option. It isn’t for one very specific reason: you can’t use ZohoCliq on the phone without it crashing. I’ve deleted and reinstalled ZohoCliq . I’ve contacted support. I’ve given them data from my phone at their request. I’ve installed TestFlight at their request. NOTHING WORKS. We’re switching back to Slack. This is nonsense and sad because we’re Zoho One customers. [I will update my review once the problem is fixed.]

Still not fixed. They keep saying it’s only our organization that is having the problem but there are several other reviews with the exact same problem. The phone app is garbage.

I’ve used it for weeks. Previously I’ve used slack. Cliq is too much buggy and UI/UX is a total mess. You can easily get lost in menus, threds are showing really bad. Even you may be mentioned some where and it won’t notify you some times! We’ve sent feedback to the team and they ignored and didn’t fix bugs. I hate this weak and frustrating app. Actually it should be removed from every where till their team fix these bugs!!!!

Great business tool, calling chats etc for within the company

I'm running the absolute newest iOS, and even went as far as deleting that reinstalling ZohoCliq.

All ZohoCliq does now, is crash when opened.

Before the auto update earlier today, it worked fine. This is a useless app. I'm running the newest iPhone as well.

EVERY time I open ZohoCliq , it harasses me about how to do this or that. I don’t need or want these tutorials. I REALLY don’t want them EVERY TIME I OPEN ZohoCliq . The very first time, maybe. EVERY time? Absolutely not!
I have to use ZohoCliq for work so I will move to the web interface but this I something that would cause me to completely abandon it if I wasn’t required.

Last time I gave 4, but this time 1 is enough. It seems no care about customers. Although we go through Zoho assist with Technical department & they assured me that next update will fix all addressed bugs, but new update came & no change.

ZohoCliq works as it should for iPhone but there is no support for iPad - I use an iPad Pro as my main device and ZohoCliq cannot even function in landscape mode and the sharpness doesn’t fit iPad screen. Otherwise would be nice I’d they would add support to show if a message has been read.

All ZohoCliq does is force close about 5 seconds after opening. Using iPhoneXR. I can do anything I want in ZohoCliq ... but only for 5 seconds. So to read a message I have to quickly open ZohoCliq and the channel repeatedly until I have read what I need to read. Not very efficient at all.

My Cliq signs me out (sometimes multiple times a day) and then I don’t get notifications. It happens a lot to my app and my fellow colleagues. When it keeps me signed in it works well but it’s inconsistent.

ZohoCliq matches exactly to recent chats and chat history in your ZOHO account. Makes it so easy to start a chat on the desktop and switch to mobile flawlessly. So glad to have this! Trillian was a pain to use with ZOHO Chat, now this native app is a breathe of fresh air in comparison.

Downloaded ZohoCliq , put my information and after that it says hang on a sec and it never does anything after that. It stays on the hang on a sec screen. Have delete ZohoCliq from my iPhone multiple times and nothing changes.

Video quality needs to be improved.

Cliq is a nice app, thanks for creating this. But i have lots of unexpected exit in iphone 7 plus.

Cliq app just randomly disappeared from my iPhone today. It shows it’s installed, and notifications are on, but it’s nowhere to be found. Please fix!!!

Hi there, unfortunately app not working on iPhone 6. ZohoCliq terminates after launching.

ZohoCliq has been broken since 2020. Crashes After 1 min if I’m lucky.

Stops sending notifications for no reason

I love using ZohoCliq on my iPhone everyday, but very surprised the iPad experience is not optimized. I expected more from an app that’s been updated in 2019.

Sometime it doesn’t reach message

If they'll add in the support for slash commands I'll be totally happy.

App keeps crashing after seconds of being open.

Notifications do not show up on iPhone 11 pro.
