Moocho: Rewards & Discounts Reviews

The rep that walked me through this in Kroger did it so fast, that it took me a bit to figure out on my own what was going on with Moocho. But since, I have saved so much money so fast! The only drawbacks are that there are not many options area my area yet, and that you have to go through the full service line at the grocery store, which usually takes longer. I do like that checkout is easy, no cards or cash to handle. Swipe right on your open app to pay! Easy! Overall, I like Moocho and have recommended it to many people.

After leaving several messages over the last few weeks, someone returned my call. My question was inquiring about how to do a return since the purchase is applied as a “gift card” purchase and reads as such on the receipt. Knowing most businesses refund back to the original payment method, I wanted to know the process. The representative was quick to say the refund would be given…. How??… and then I would need to issue the receipt to this app for a refund. Too much work and makes me skeptical to the process. When I told her my feelings, she hung up on me. Kohls will give a gift card for the return since it was purchase like a gift card. I don’t have a use now for credit towards Kohls and wish I had made the purchase with a payment I can get the credit back if return is necessary.

I first found out about Moocho at my university. All locations on campus used it and so did local businesses. It’s super easy to use and you can get some amazing rewards and deals. It’s always nice to know you are saving when you get your morning coffee. They are constantly having promotions and new deals. It is also super convenient since you don’t have to pull out your card and pay. You can just play through your phone in an instant. Lastly, Moocho is constantly updated and haven’t noticed any problems at all!

I have earned and received many rewards from this app over the past 3 years. They are legit. It’s the same as paying with a debit/credit card except that I get points! By the end of the year, I’ve accumulated enough points to get a nice reward. My only wish is that they would add new rewards more often. Some of the rewards are older and some are way too many points for their value (apple products). But overall, I love it!

My roommate recommended me Moocho. Initially I was skeptical about this, just thought my roommate wanted to get some little bonus. After using it for a while, I found it is really really saving money. You can get 10% discount in loading $300. This is great for college students. Additionally you can earn some Mooches, just points dependent on you payments, which can be used to reward some gift cards, additional savings. Love Moocho.

I use this every time I shop at Winn Dixie and several other places in the Miami area. I’ve had it less than a year and already redeemed 4 rewards, and they have a great selection to pick from. Moocho is super easy to use... I don’t even need my wallet to go shopping anymore. Best of all, their customer service is excellent!! (Shout-out to Caitrin who went above and beyond!) I highly recommend Moocho!

I’ve been using this app at my school’s campus for 2 years now and it’s so easy to use and has saved me a lot of money! It’s so much quicker to just swipe and pay with this app than to remember to bring my card with me which i sometimes forget. I get emails with rewards, double points, extra cash back, etc all the time and it reminds me to use it and get extra deals. I can’t wait to see Moocho pop up in more places!!

Moocho can help you save so much money. There is a reward that is $7 off that costs 20 mooches. 1 mooch for every $5 meaning that you get 20 mooches after $100 spent. Getting $7 off is equivalent to 7% cash back! That is better than you can get with any credit card and is honestly unheard of. From a savings standpoint, you definitely want to use Moocho.

Signed up today while in my local Kroger. Used Moocho to pay. Since our transaction was over $250 the account was flagged and suspended within ten minutes of using it. It was already pending in my bank account. I received an email and contacted customer service. They are the ones who told me that this was why the account was flagged. They want me to send a copy of my picture ID and my card attached to the account to reactivate it. They did say to cover all but the last four numbers. Still don’t find this necessary. I got a speech about small business and fraud. Be careful if you use Moocho especially if you tend to have larger transactions at your grocery store.

this app IS AMAZING! A friend of mine told me about this app. He told me I could get a free $5 discount on my first purchase just for paying with this app. I didn’t know what to expect because nothing is actually free, right? But I was in Starbucks one day and decided to try it out and BOOM!.... Got my favorite Mocha Frappuccino for $5 less that day. Even tasted better that day, I think lol Been using this app ever since. The reward’s are addictive and I can’t resist a good deal. GREAT APP!

this app STILL has ambassadors at my local grocery and drug store approaching customers who are trying to get their items and go home quickly and without coming in contact with others. In our current pandemic, this behavior is irresponsible and unsafe, only essential workers should be out right now and customers don’t want to come close to anyone they don’t have to—they’re only at grocery or drug stores out of necessity and not to have a lengthy chat with a stranger in a crowded store.

I am deleting my account and telling anyone I know to do so as well. I will not be doing business with corporations who don’t care about the safety of their employees, clients, or the general public.

This would be the second review for Moocho. I have used Moocho for about 4 years. I use it mostly on groceries and fuel. Last year I had earned enough mooches over two years to fly my family of 4 to Florida roundtrip. Since then I am now at $400 more dollars in Southwest gift cards to go toward our next vacation. I am intentional about shopping where they accept this app.

I love this app! I have used it for a few years and, if I am patient, the this app points add up and I’ve been able to redeem some fantastic rewards! It’s been really fun! Plus, the Customer Service Department is friendly, fast, efficient and very helpful.
I’m glad that I can use this app where I regularly get groceries because it makes it so easy to earn points. Highly recommend Moocho!

Before this I was using this app a lot at chipotle, Panera, CVS but now with all of this that’s going on with the quarantine I’ve been using it more especially at their Winn-Dixie locations so I can save money on my groceries and on top of it get rewards from it! Highly recommended to download and use especially in the Miami area plus it’s so easy to use!

Moocho is seriously the best payment rewards app I’ve ever used. It’s allowed me to save so much money and being a college student I’m always looking to get the best deal. I love how you don’t have to take out your card to make a transaction and you just swipe right off of your phone. Very easy to use and never had any problems. 10/10 recommend!

With this app we get great rewards so I use it whenever I can. Paying via Moocho at stores is convenient and reliable. I have redeemed rewards numerous times and it is always a pleasure to receive things such as gift cards and household items. I recommend this app!

Even Moocho is not broad accepted right now but I do enjoy the discount in app. Roughly about 3 to 6% off of all the products in a popular grocery store nearby. The representative is quite helpful. After verification, she unlock my account and reimbursed my rewards. Quite nice and the responsible.

LOVE this app. The deals are awesome with lots of great places to choose from when I get the late night munchies! And Moocho is so easy to use when it's late at night, I can still figure it out!! Seriously, this is a great product, so thanks to the guys at this app!! You've made my life twice as nice. Keep signing up more spots so I can spend more of my parents money!

I’ll be honest, wasn’t remotely interested in Moocho initially. But out of politeness, I let the rep download it on my phone, and right off the bat, I saved $7 off my groceries.

From there, I’ve used them for groceries and just got a Ninja Personal Pro blender shipped to me from earning enough Moochies.

Moocho also hosts “Missions” every so often and let’s you earn bonus moochies, which is great because it takes a minute to earn them.

All in all, a great app that you can use to make your everyday purchases and get rewarded for doing so.

I do forget to use it other places other than the grocery store. I got my Bose headphones after saving my points! The only complaint I have is that you can’t pay with this app at the self check out.

this app experience has been really positive. Love their new app, easier to use. I’ve already saved at least $50 in their deals and earned a similar amount in rewards just from paying with this app at stores I go to anyway. Definitely recommend it.

Everything about Moocho strikes me as shady. The promotion of it to me definitely felt like I was going to get my credit card information stolen. I actually just pretended to put in my information so I'd be left alone. Moocho looks alright but I don't see how it could be profitable which adds to the shadiness (at least in my eyes as a developer). The amount of 5 star reviews is also alarming given the severity of 1 star reviews.

TL;DR from the eye test Moocho seems like an easy way to get your card information stolen

Moocho is awesome! All I have to do is use is at places I already shop and every few weeks or so I get 7 bucks off at my grocery store! Love that! Highly, highly recommend this to everyone 👍👍

Moocho works great and the only time when I had an issue the customer service help me out really fast.

Every time you pay with this app, it automatically adds something like 20% to your purchase. I had no idea this was the case until a very nice cashier told me. That’s how they make all their money. And nowhere on Moocho does it say this is happening.

My advice—if there are freebies, like a free Chipotle burrito or something, get it and then delete Moocho . All these 5 star reviewers have no idea that this app is taking their money every purchase.

It felt really weird being approached in the store, the guy was nice, but something seemed off. I used the $7 credit, that was nice, but the cashier also seemed to think it was shady. He didn't come out and say that, but the look on his face did. I deleted Moocho , but now my credit card information is in there and I want it out. I do not know what the hell I was thinking, I just wanted a piece of cheesecake!

If you were approached in a store by a stranger asking you to downloadthis app, DON’T. It looks to me like this app is asking their own paid sales contractors to write all these glowing reviews.
Have fun spending 5 minutes explaining what “pay with this app” means to the clueless cashier every time you want to use Moocho.
Also this is one more company that will have your credit information stored on its servers.

All the best deals right at my fingertips. This is one of my favorite apps. Easy to navigate and all the deals I love are in plain view. Cool looking interface too! Home run.

this app is seriously the easiest way for college students to save some real money. It was super easy to use, the rewards are real, and there’s no catch.

Made a mistake (totally on me) but this app was very generous and helped correct it anyways!! Very quick service and very friendly people in an app that makes saving money super simple!

Got Moocho bc it was advertised to give me a free $20 certificate to Kroger. Upon further investigation, you have to spend money with Moocho to earn their in app currency, “mooches”, and only then can you get the “free” $20 which is actually only $10...? just don’t waste your time
