Can’t paste password

Just updated to iOS 14.1 and this problem was introduced. I use a password manager and when I short or long press on the password bar the screen jumps around, the keyboard gets in the way, and/or the cursor in the bar quits. Please fix this :)

1/24 Edit: Any updates on this? It’s been about 3 months since I posted this and 2 months since it was supposed to be fixed.

3/16 Edit: Thanks for providing the tip about double tapping to paste my password, that allowed me to get around this bug for a while. Today I noticed that RedwoodCU crashes 100% of the time when I double tap and paste my password. I think you need better QA :P

I love it

I’m new to RCU. About 1 month. The user face is a bit dated, but it HAS EVERYTHING you need. And it’s easy to find things. Most importantly for me, every-time you make a transaction, they what your NEW balance is and posts it on the bottom right of that individual transaction. My previous bank doesn’t do this and I always had to do the math myself. I really hope this specific feature doesn’t go away now that they are releasing an update. Either way, love you guys!

It's decent, but face ID almost never works

RedwoodCU itself is pretty well figured. Design is a bit outdated but I can do everything I need to. My main issue is that, when I had Touch ID, it never worked. Now I have face ID, and it always says that it will be enabled after a successful login. No matter how many times I successfully log in and press the enable face ID button, I always have to type in the password. Please make this more intuitive and actually funtional. No it's not a necessity, but if you're going to offer it, it at least ought to work? Thanks.

Wow! Leave it to a local credit union to have stellar customer service.
On the off chance you need help with your mobile banking needs, these guys respond quickly with easy to follow advice and info. They really want your banking experience to be easy.
The ability to deposit checks from anywhere is really convenient.

Too long to even start up the app

I have deleted it multiple times, tried my data or restarted my WiFi. RedwoodCU will not start up. I have to go through safari to check my bank info. So ridiculous. Now it’s saying that “service isn’t available” on an all blank page. Like this is so time consuming and all I want it to check MY MONEY.
I recommend that you go open a bank account else where because they clearly don’t know who to run a app. So ridiculous and time consuming. Still hasn’t been working.

Terrible function, but a necessary evil.

I wish RedwoodCU wasn’t constantly glitching. I tried to log in and it took me about 2 hours because it wouldn’t let me finish logging in no matter what I did. The glitch still hasn’t resolved and I’ve checked everything, I even re-downloaded it, but nothing worked. I wanted to use RedwoodCU as a form of convenience for checking my balance, but I can’t because of its poor design. What a shame.

Great App!

It is so convenient to be able to deposit checks without going to the bank. RedwoodCU works well and I appreciate that you have added the option of permanently turning off Manual Capture because that "feature" does not work well for me.

Reliable and easy to use

It’s secure and fast, and I particularly like the mobile check deposit - it guides you on how to position the camera and takes the picture for you. So quick and easy!

App often does not load

I love Redwood Credit Union and have used the mobile app for years with no problem, but since the last update it often won’t load when attempting to open. I hope they fix this soon.

PLEASE FIX the Quick Balance.

It would be a great feature but it never loads - just says loading transactions and spins. Your last update was 11 months ago,

Super laggy

I’m a new member and RedwoodCU is super laggy every thing takes time to load, when on the other hand all the competitors are fast and crisp at the press of a button. Dong get me wrong but if RedwoodCU was more crisp fast like the competitors would be a lot better

Hard to use

RedwoodCU is extremely difficult to use- and this is coming from a teenager. It’s so hard to log in and navigate around RedwoodCU . Needs a better more accessible format. Also had an issue where it would crash whenever I’d try to open it so I had to delete it and redownload. Overall, it could run better than it does

What happened?

RedwoodCU is normally pretty good. But the past month or so has been bad. It either doesn't load, or loads incorrectly. I barely get past the sign in screen, if I even get to it at all.
I don't know what happened, but I hope they fix it soon. It's normally a good app, but I'm getting very frustrated. Almost to the point where I want to uninstall RedwoodCU . I hope it doesn't get to that point.

Doesn’t work on iPod touch gen 7

Worked great on iPod Touch gen 6 and 12.9” iPad Pro gen 1. Since I replaced my iPod touch with the gen 7, I get error messages when trying to access my account or locate ATM without logging on. I called in the problem a month ago. No response from IT and no fix. Maybe this review will get things moving so I can mobile bank again?

Face ID doesn’t work with iPhone latest update

Hello…just updated my iPhone with the latest update. Face ID doesn’t work nor does option to do mobile deposits. Looks like those features just vanished. Prior to update….worked wonderfully!

Needs Touch ID

Great App, can take care of everything I need right within RedwoodCU . Check deposit feature is extremely useful. Just wish it had Touch ID like every other banking app.

Lost Landscape View

Landscape view for iPad was a great improvement for this basic financial services app. However, it appears to have been introduced and then lost again. Re-downloading RedwoodCU doesn’t help. Perhaps developers could address this issue?

Good but...

I use RedwoodCU on my iPad and the latest version doesn't allow landscape veiwing. Please fix. The last version worked fine in iPad landscape mode.
