Can’t even pay my first interstate credit cards from FirstInterstateBank or see up to date balance on my card. Literally does everything worse than the website. Had FirstInterstateBank for months before I realized this. Just go on the website from your mobile browser because FirstInterstateBank is a waste of memory. There are comments from the devs saying they’d pass the lack of credit card functionality to the “team” two years ago. Still haven’t fixed this. What a crock.

My business app doesn’t support online bill pay so I have to use a browser which is also problem ridden. The auto detect in the check deposit doesn’t seem to work very well either. Those are the basic things I use FirstInterstateBank for so having these features and having them function properly would make it 5 stars.

I find it strange that you cannot even pay your credit card from the mobile app. It doesn’t even show individual credit card expenses— just the balance due. You have to use the full website to actually do anything with your credit card(s). The other banks I use have robust credit card functionality from within their mobile apps.

It would be great to be able to make mortgage payments via FirstInterstateBank . You can on the mobile site, but it’s not very user friendly. The payments never come out on the scheduled date, only the end of the month. So it’s hard to make early and extra payments.

I’d like to be able to sort and search my transactions within an account. Also missing is a way to expand details for a transaction by clicking on it. Depending on how the business name etc is formatted, it can be very difficult to tell what a charge is for just from looking at the basic details provided.

I’ve had FirstInterstateBank for a few years now and there are definitely things I like. The instant transfers are very useful, and the mobile check deposit works great. However logins can be very buggy, and there are some things I wish they’d add, such as transaction search

We used FirstInterstateBank to enroll in electronic statements to avoid the $5 per month fee for paper statements. The following month we were charged $5 for paper statements. I went into FirstInterstateBank and did the process again. Next month, another fee. Went into FirstInterstateBank and it showed we were enrolled in electronic statements, so I figured maybe it just didn't take effect before that statement was mailed. Next month, another $5 fee. So we finally went to the bank branch in person, which is no easy feat since I have to take time off from work, and got signed up for electronic statements. The rep said he could not refund the fees since the statements were mailed.

App works great. Nice to have all accounts available under one log in. The thing that is SO Irritating though is that it doesn’t show you pending transactions! So if you purchase something on Friday it doesn’t post until Monday so you spend the whole weekend balancing it yourself and it’s a huge pain.
Can this be fixed?

FirstInterstateBank works great. I use it often.
But for the times when I don't peak at my account and especially my transactions, it can be cumbersome scrolling through them all to find a specific one.
So.. could you maybe add a SEARCH feature? Took look for a certain date, location (business) or dollar amount.
That would be very helpful.

I would love if you had an option for us to change the names on the accounts on our mobile devices vs having to log into the account on a computer to do that. For example if I could name my “Preferred Checking Account” “Spending” or change my “Basic Checking” into “Bills Account”. Otherwise it’s very simple to use and I like it!

Capital one has an amazing app, if first interstate uses there’s as an outline I’d like it even more! Would like to be able to view my credit card transactions on FirstInterstateBank .

A downside is how to edit payments. From what I can tell you have to just redo it.

Deposits should show up same day as my wife’s bank does.

TOO many fees really are painful for those of us with SS as our primary income.

At of all the Apps I have on my Phone, FIB is my favorite! Allows me to use facial recognition to login, transfer funds, deposit checks, bill pay, get previous statements, etc. all from FirstInterstateBank. Haven’t found any Cons on FIB App! Thx FIB!👍🏼

The mobile app or online banking for that matter does not allow you to make an additional principal payment on your home loan. What kind of bank restricts that? Poor online support from this bank.

The only thing is that I wish it would show that I have more money haha! I have been frustrated in the past when FirstInterstateBank is down and I couldn’t use it but overall I am happy with it!

I love FirstInterstateBank for checking in on my accounts and knowing immediately where I stand. I also love the ability to transfer money and have access to it in seconds!

I love this bank in Eureka been banking here for many years, I moved away 6 years ago and still come back 2 times a year. I can’t bring myself to switch banks, even being out of state I still get great customer service every time I need it.

I would like to be able to make credit card payments from the mobile site. Other than that FirstInterstateBank and all of the alerts associated with it are great.

Every time I need to get on the mobile app to check my accounts I have to manually put in my password EVERYTIME! Please add the face scan feature to unlock for the iPhone 10. Your a million dollar company. Get this figured out. Ridiculous

I really like the FIB app, however it would be nice to be able to see credit card transactions and make credit card payments from it as well.
