Hi The Everand app closes frequently. Sometimes every five minutes and sometimes not for an hour.

audiobooks won’t open, just keep ‘buffering’ - even if already downloaded.

I can’t get in. It just crashes.

Scribd playing audio did a text message arrives on my phone, and the audiobook stops playing. When I turn to the scribd app, It says it is buffering. Lots of buffering already downloaded the audiobook.

I have been using Scribd for about 6 years. I read every night. As of 3 days ago my app shuts down when I attempt to read any book on my Galaxy tab. I can use the app on my android phone but not my android tablet that I've been reading on. I can go to the scribd website and read on the tablet... just not the App. This is the 2nd time this issue has come up. My last tablet lasted about 2 years and had the same issue. Seems like Scribd updates the app and only works on new operating systems until the next update.

Will not open books or download books. The little book icon just keeps flapping and books won’t open.

SCRIBD freezes my iPhone while listening to audio books. I have to restart my phone but it happens again after awhile.

On my Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE the scribd app will not fully display pages on many of my non-PDF song books. Some pages stay displayed, but most will display for less than a second and then I get nothin but a white screen, or a rectangular portion of the page will dislpay and then vanish. If I touch the screen sometimes a portion appears, but there are rectangular white sections overlaying the print. Very frustrating. I'm almost to the point of cancelling my scribd account.

The audio books go silent while still playing. And I miss several key points. This has been going on for at least one month, maybe longer. Even if I go back, I can’t hear what I’ve missed. Don’t have this issue with Audible or Libby.

Sound disappears intermittently but audio keeps playing.

When search for audiobooks by author C.J. Box it returns box’s I’ve already listened to. If I search on a title, any title by this author nothing is found. Why?

I've been using scribe for probably 2 years now if not longer. I've never had any problems before but this week it started with not letting me access my downloads unless I was connected to the internet. And now I can only use my downloads and it tells me I'm not connected to the internet even though I am.

Ditto. It just stops. I used Scribd because it seemed like a good alternative to audible, but if they can get it to work, I see no reason to keep paying them

Audio books skip parts of books, the books keep running but the audio is silent and you can’t hear the audio.

Hi there, i use Scribd for audiobooks, and recently there will be intermittent silences while the book continues to play. I have tried to go back an reply the specific section that I missed as a result of the silences, but it will do the same thing at exactly the same section in the audiobook.

Like many others, can’t listen as continually having a few seconds silence every 10 seconds. Scribd keeps playing and I miss many sections of the book. Very annoying!

Like Yvonne above, I too have been having many issues with the scribd app on my android phone. I use the application exclusively for playing audiobooks which I download before playing. I even signed up to the beta program to try to workaround the problem. The app hogs memory and sometimes completely drains the battery. I changed phones and the problem also remains (I am currently using Android 13 on a Pixel 5a) Closing the application sometimes does not stop the audio - requiring instead a restart of the phone. It is the only application that causes issues - Audible on the other hand is reliable and is extremely efficient with battery usage. Please try to fix this as the problem has been long standing.

I get error message on my old kindle that my current scribe app is outdated; that I need to update. When I try to update it says update unavailable. Help!

With usage app lags increasingly until it stops working. I have to restart my device continually. I've tried on several devices, and it's always the same. Updates have made no difference.

Today my audiobook has started stopping after playing for awhile… I have to go back in and restart. Please help me. Ty

App stops playing audiobooks every time it gets interrupted by other audio such as notifications or the Google assistant. Every time I have to open the app, exit the book, and go back into it to get it to play. It wasn't bad the first few times but I'm doing it a few times per hour and it's getting incredibly frustrating. I really want to keep using this app but I don't know if I can take this much longer

I’ve been having various issues with audiobooks just completely freezing or disconnecting. I have to keep resetting my phone in order for me to reconnect to audiobook

Keeps saying something went wrong and shuts off. I’ve restarted the app and phone but it still doesn’t work and I have the latest version running on my iPhone 11 Pro Max. 😩

Error 10001 all day on audiobooks

It stops in middle of book. It will come back up and stop again.

All of my downloaded audiobooks disappeared from both my computer and iphone. Poof. Gone.

Scribd has been crashing on me for the last 2-3 days. I’ll be listening and then all of a sudden nothing, gone, crashed. I load it up again and about 5 min later same thing. Turn my phone off and on again and same thing. I just wanna listen to my books 😭

My Scribd app is not working correctly… my screen keeps freezing up and I can’t move easily between books etc.
