This happened several times this morning: My access to the library through OverDrive worked normally until I tried to search by author's (I was doing this from the "borrowed" area by clicking on the Author's name). Then it would say I needed to login, which I did. Then it seemed to work ok until I tried to return to the previous area & do another search by clicking on an Author's name from those I currently have borrowed. Again it asked me to login. I have, at this point, logged in not less that 6 times this morning. What is the problem? PS I DON'T like your LIBBY program.

How to fix OverDrive app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the OverDrive app on iPhone
Update OverDrive app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall OverDrive iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix OverDrive on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve OverDrive network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

OverDrive Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix OverDrive not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the OverDrive App
1. On android, goto Settings » OverDrive » click [Force Stop]

Update OverDrive to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear OverDrive App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » OverDrive » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart OverDrive.

Fix OverDrive unable to contact server/ OverDrive internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click OverDrive » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto OverDrive » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch OverDrive
