What is Maintenance?
Yardi Maintenance Mobile is an app that enhances the functionality of Yardi Maintenance. It allows maintenance technicians to access their assigned work orders from the field, add technician labor and inventory to work orders, record time, notes, and complete work orders in real-time. The app also enables technicians to create new work orders as needed. Yardi Maintenance Mobile requires the installation of Yardi Maintenance Plug-in 10.1 or greater.

Yardi is the most buggy and unstable platform for property management in existence. It’s so bad and freezes so often it feels like someone is playing a joke on you. That this is somehow the industry standard is unbelievable. The mobile this app app constantly tries to sync without your say so, then gets stuck on the sync screen. Once you restart it has deleted all of your notes and time logs. And it just keeps doing this. You put them all in again and it freezes and you lose them. Do you know why? I’ll tell you why; it’s because Maintenance developers don’t care about their software at all. Just look at it. It’s hot garbage that looks like it was a website built in 1998. Everything is disorganized and like someone too a wad of features and chucked it into an app with no real cafe or consideration for the end user. I’d Yardi goes out of business I will celebrate an behalf of everyone who is forced to us this nightmare. A real app developer would take great pains to preserve the local storage the moment you press save in Maintenance . ESPECIALLY when the devs know this is used offline. But nope, all of your notes get vaporized if you need to restart. No one at yardi has ever thought about UX/UI. I doubt they even know what that is.

Maintenance is antiquated. This could be so much cleaner and simpler to use, but it appears that the user interface hasn’t been updated in years! Seems it’s stuck back in the 90’s! When you try and start a job, you can’t just put your notes in and then complete it. You have to go back and save and then edit and then hit the time clock again and then save and THEN you can go back and “Complete” the order! Such a pain when in the field and trying to get work done!
They have us technicians stuck with Maintenance because it’s main program is what the office uses.
We end up sending so many emails and texts about our WO’s when the order should do it all more easily.

The developer apparently compiled with the latest XCode 12 and SDKs but did not realize that Apple changed the default style of the date/time picker control. Instead of the old-school wheels it switched to the pop-up time editor (the new default). Of course the UI was not updated for that and Maintenance is even slower to use now (more clicks) plus uglier. All you developers need to do is go in and explicitly set the style back to the wheels. Also, add a direct support email to the developer in Maintenance so we can communicate directly with bug reports.

For the most part.
I really wish it would just sync in the background. Really really annoying when I leave Maintenance and come back to read a w/o description. Then it starts syncing again.
Also, I have tried everything I can think of but I do not get push notifications when a w/o is added. My coworkers with androids do though.

The worst programed app I’ve ever seen. You have to go through all these pages to complete a work order and no reason for it. All kinds of bugs and flaws. If you complete a work order the person with same app doesn’t know what happened with the work order. You really know how to make something simple harder. Oh yeah can’t increase print size.

Maintenance is horrible to use for work, a constant pain, and always annoying. Without anyone showing you what to do you will struggle to learn how to use Maintenance . Even if you were taught Maintenance offers no opportunity to make adjustments on work orders. Maintenance is supposed to aid me in doing my job but it is quickly becoming the worst part.

despite the Compatibility line in the Information section saying “Requires iOS 9.0 or later. Compatible with iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.” it will not load on any of our iPads which have iOS 14.1

Latest update won’t let me select a time out on work orders. As soon as I select a time in, both time out and tech notes automatically fill with todays date and won’t change at all, ultimately making my input invalid. Please fix.

Fails constantly, looks like iOS 3 still. Very clunky. Why does it sync sometimes in the background, but 98% will just fail out if it looses focus? Obviously it’s in there but is poorly implemented. I shouldn’t have to force close it all the time to get it to work.

Everything worked as it should until the latest update. Now it wont allow me to enter my user name only password. Therefore I can’t log in to close out work orders.

First of all, YOU HAVE TO BE LICENSED TO USE YARDI VOYAGER this app, which is part of Yardi Voyager. This is NOT a this app program. It is merely the mobile work order accessory TO the this app portion of the program. It's not all things to all people, but it's very good at what it does. If you've got Voyager and you're NOT using this, you really are missing out on efficient this app management.

It’s nice and works fine. Wished it had a few more features like the ability to upload videos. Wished that if you clock into a work order, it would change the status to “in progress” and not “scheduled” because it is in fact in progress.
