PedidosYa - Delivery App Reviews

This is probably the first time I have ever been compelled to write a review for an application I installed. At first, apart from some basic bugs, everything appeared to be working fine. However, once I started placing my orders is where everything went down hill. Once the grocery’s were picked up, the delivery men drive around for 30 minutes doing who knows what to your food, then when they arrive, covid-19 protocol is not being followed. Furthermore, the groceries came incomplete. Those 5 bananas, 3 beers, and chocolate bar you ordered? NAH! They only bring half of it. So when you file a report saying that your products did not arrive, they say sorry and send you a coupon to further use it in their application. This application is an atrocity to modern technology and the company should be shut down for not only a sub par service, but for the thievery masterminds behind this cartel of delinquents. 10/10 would not recommend this pile of trash of an application and service.

PedidosYa is pure genius, very easy to use, great food variety and payment options from an inbuilt payments platform, you can even pay with EDENRED ticket paystubs. PedidosYa really works, you have plenty customer reviews to guide you thru the best options, PedidosYa is pure brilliant.
I would suggest only 2 things, add the option to tip the delivery guy from PedidosYa (many times you may not have cash around the house), and invest in customer service support, Everything works perfectly 99% of the times, but I had a couple of issues with restaurants i.e. coming over 2 hours later, and I couldn’t get pass your BOT support to talk to a real agent, its the only reason I would not rate it 5 stars, as per the rest is really great. Will totally continue using it.

PedidosYa is a disaster. I was paying without problems with cards until they stopped charging me with a card, there were thousands of minutes of waiting in his customer service chat/phone trying to ask for help but it was just wasting time. The only reason why I still have PedidosYa installed in my iPhone is because they have no competition in Argentina ... just that. DO NOT INSTALL THIS 5hit.

Im from the US and order food for my family in Peru weekly. The previous app I used, Glovo, no longer works and they redirected me to PedidosYa. My one problem with PedidosYa is that each time I open it, I need to update the address again. I wish the address would just store to avoid having to input it each time. I thought once I logged into my account then this wouldn’t be an issue but alas, no. I still need to enter address once I log in and it uses my address in the US first. It would be much user friendly if the address was stored and I don’t have to add this information each time I open PedidosYa .

I’d give it 5 stars if it wasn't for the numerous credit card issues we’ve had randomly. You guys HAVE to fix that. It works fine for days, and then it stops, fails for days, then works again. This has nothing to do with the credit cards themselves, as I have cards from different banks failing, then working again. Fix this, and you get the 5 stars.

Credit card loop issue still happening. To top it all off, promotion notifications being off does nothing. I still get spammed with all the offers regardless of my settings. Taking 2 more stars away. PedidosYa pushes more notifications than Twitter.

The last few times I have ordered, I have been disappointed with the length of time of delivery (food is cold by the time it arrives) and by the limited options offered by PedidosYa to follow the progress of the order, contact the driver, and get help with issues. Compared with other similar apps, this one is not as good. I also had a problem with a promotion not being applied... I was given a coupon for the amount of the promotion to use on a future order but may not even bother given the poor service so far, and apparently not all places accept coupons.

The option to tip the delivery guy should be presented after the delivery is completed so one can decide to tip based on received services.
Also, I dont like that when Pedidos absorbed Glovo, it took the option of making a purchase for me.

Absolutely horrible. The wait time is always off by more than an hour. We’ve waited close to 3 hours for food. Food orders show up incomplete most of the time and their customer service is non existent. I contacted their customer service on 4 different occasions for problems with my orders and received no help and all. If you are hungry, just go straight to the restaurants, you’ll save yourself the headache, money and not to mention you will actually eat. Worst app service ever!

PedidosYa is buggy and prone to crashing. Menus won’t load reliably. Menus have unnecessary age restrictions for looking at a hamburger.

Getting a driver is unreliable. I have twice now in two weeks sat and waited for a driver to accept, for 30 minutes, when the food was certainly prepared. Reassign the driver after 2 minutes if they don’t accept. Simple fix.

When ordering from a grocery store, there is no guarantee you’ll get all your items, and no way to get a refund for missing items. The driver replaces items as they see fit. We got lucky that it was only one item. Take notes from instacart here.

Finally — it is impossible to pay in PedidosYa with a credit card. The web pay is a very buggy solution and takes a full minute to load. Consider integrating with Apple Pay.

I’m not writing a review it’s more an opinion. I think we can agree that they should let the option to pay with PayPal. Lots of us have PayPal and we feel more comfortable paying with PayPal I think a lot of people agrees specially down here in Dominica República

I’ve been a customer of Pedisosya since the change from Appetito24 and have placed hundreds of orders. Recently, after a trip to the USA and replacement of my phone, using PedidosYa won’t accept any credit card of mine. It’s so annoying and I can’t imagine how others might feel when customer service just replies with an email that is written from a script. No care! No genuine help! Very disappointing!

Pro: PedidosYa has the most option for all apps. Supermarket, restaurant and more.

Pro: Este app tiene mucha variedad.

Con: La gran mayoría de los negocios no toman efectivo y ningún supermercado toma efectivo. Pero peor aún también tampoco toma tarjeta de crédito y solo aceptan alguna tarjeta de débito. Además ellos no ofrecen servicio al cliente solo una repuestas automáticas. Si te llegó algo mal te embromaste mala tuya. No hay comunicación entre el negocio y tu. Ningún sentido de responsabilidad o garantía con lo que tu compra. Es una pena porque el concepto es excelente, pero los encargados No.

Con: Most establishment don’t accept cash and they don’t accept most credit cards or bank cards. Terrible customer service. You will never get to talk to no one, If your order is wrong, stuff luck and that’s it. There is no relationship between customers and restaurants or supermarkets.

Wow I have no words. PedidosYa is the worst delivery app I have ever used. The only reason I was trying to use this was because they bought out glovo but PedidosYa right here- it’s sh8t. Waited more than 2 hours and PedidosYa blames it on the restaurant when it is their app that’s the problem. They just cancel the chat when you ask for help and if they do try and help they can only say one thing. I don’t ever write reviews but really I can’t with this.

I’m stuck paying cash because PedidosYa will not take my US credit card or debit card. Not a problem for me but I’d rather pay and tip with my card.

Hopefully they will fix it soon but for now, will only rate 4 stars

Horrible app, at first our orders would work fine but after a while they would bring our food incomplete and still charge us for it. It has happened to me two times back to back and it’s horrible knowing that you paid for food that you didn’t eat or receive, also the costumer service is horrendous I have messaged,emailed them yet I’ve gotten no response 1/5 Terrible app

Bugs: Keeps forgetting the address. Favourites disappear.

Suggestion: I would love to have an additional list, like a “want to try list”. Now when there’s a restaurant I want to try I add it to favourites, and it gets cluttered. Having a favourite list AND a “want to try” list would be fantastic. 😃

.. when I have no desire to cook or walk to the supermarket. Dangerous habit though, keep track or you’ll be broke in no time!

Please include the back button at the top of the screen. When I press something by mistake or because I just wanna look at something, I can’t leave the screen unless I order the thing...

This service is terrible. The delivery guys never have change. The delivery times are always incorrect. Stores often wind up canceling your order 20-30 minutes after you’ve made the order. And trying to get a hold of support is almost impossible at times. Grub Hub and Uber Eats are so much better than this trash service from this app. Oh and PedidosYa crashes all the time

I have tried several times to pay with my credit card and I can’t. Customer service doesn’t work and don’t answer your messages. It’s the only app that reject my credit card. If you plan to use your credit card and expect to have a good customer service, just don’t use PedidosYa find another one.

I ordered a pizza and waited pass midnight, order never came. When I go to ask the status of the order on PedidosYa , it THEN told me that the order was cancelled by the local. The worst part is that I didn’t get any kind of notification from PedidosYa or the local. Now everything is closed and I have nothing to eat.

Love the food, I use PedidosYa almost every week, everything is good until it doesn’t. Customer service is horrible, they take ages to answer and when they do they don’t provide any solution. If they improve on that this will be a solid 5star app

PedidosYa won't let me add a new address on a map. It only let's me type street names and when it doesn't recognize them , it throws out an error. This is terrible UX and I'm sure a lot people gave up on your app because of this central issue

Super convenient,no complaints

I entered my credit card and received a message that it couldn’t be processed. So I used a different one and received the same message. Then 5 minutes later I receive notifications from both CC accounts that the charges were processed, but my order can’t be processed unless I pay cash!

I order something from wendys i paid by web with my card, of course they took my money but the order was canceled and im still waiting for my refund it was 8 days ago and the only answer is from this app is “the bank has to do it, cause we return it” A LIE, i want my money back!
