Have one night stay in a hotel on June 24th and the other one night stay at the same hotel on July 19th. App shows that I have 26 day stay at that hotel. On the web site it is correctly displayed as two one day stays. For some reason not all reservations are visible in the app even though they are in the system with the same name and member number. Adding manually reservation to the app does not reflect on the web site. All together seems that more QA would be a good investment if you want people to use the app. I plan to delete it for the 3rd time since it really does not allow me to do very basic things.
I travel quite a bit and use multiple hotel apps. This is by far the worst I have seen. It’s confusing, doesn’t find or save bookings, doesn’t save preferences, doesn’t use Face ID. It doesn’t allow you to check in. Doesn’t offer digital key. Click on the link to view your status benefits and the page loads...blank. Go to see your advantages and the page is...blank. Did the developers even test this? Does Accor have a QA group? Who approved this for public release? Nothing in the app works. Why even have this?
Unable to make a date change in an existing reservation in app. As this is primarily a hotel booking site, this is a core feature that is missing. Only option is to cancel existing reservation and start again as a new booking which incurrs new room choices and new rates for dates that were akready held in the existing reservation which you have now made me cancel. This encourages me to look at other options with other hotels... can you say “Hello MARRIOTT do you have lower prices?”
