Concerning our booking to Spain & France departing Southampton UK 17th September 2022. I have contacted Princess by telephone and email several times and have not had our issue resolved. I booked and paid for Speciality Dining for 4 evenings and the remaining 3 with main dining, for some reason my husband is now, not showing on any of the bookings, if I try to re-ad him it is asking for another payment. Can anybody help me ?

So very, very, very frustrated trying to complete our personal information. I do not know how many times I have entered the required information, save and it errors out with the message, must complete personal information. I’ve tried to do this simple (?) task on different days, can not complete! The reviews on this app confirms it is not a pleasant experience for most. It will not let me save neither my personal info (address, telephone number, email etc.), nor my husband's. It did allow me to upload our photos and passports info.

Have a android phone and the app opens then closes. Have deleted and reinstalled several times with no change. Hoping you do not need this app to board or function on the ship. Would prefer to not use it if its not absolutely necessary and this most likely will be my last cruise on a cruise line who requires a smart phone and app to cruise with them.

My Medallion Class app doesn't work. It won't let me link booking # - "No booking number found." If I try to add to a Journey by linking the booking number - "This booking is already part of your Journey." When I try to complete the Travel Checklist, I only see #1 Personal Information & Documents. When I click on that, it loads for a minute then says "You do not have any journeys. Select Link Booking to add one. When I click Link Booking it tells me "This booking has already been claimed."

Terrible App. Shows my wife's passport number but won't allow it to be "selected". Manually inputting data means you have to scroll back with over 850 clicks to get to birthdate. What a crock! This App is so bad that after almost 50 cruises with Princess I'm ready to move on.

This app is terribly confusing. Sometimes it gives me all our information but other times it doesn't seem to want to work. My computer expert son had to load it for me, and he was NOT complimentary. I think I finally did everything right, including ordering our medallions but still haven't received them. I'm hoping they will be here in a few days because we are leaving for our cruise a day early to be sure to get there on time. Hopefully we won't have a problem boarding.

OMG! What is wrong with this dumb app? Last month's cruise worked perfectly. Now trying to upload travel documents to Medallion app for April cruise and it tells me that I don't have an upcoming Journey. So I follow instructions over and over again and get message that Booking # has already been claimed and the loop starts over and over. Sometimes technology just sucks. Please fix this ASAP before I start looking at other cruise lines.

For the past several weeks I've been trying get my Medallion app to work properly. Initially it took a couple chat sessions just to get the app to open, then when trying to upload travel documents it goes into "Loading" loop over and over. When it finally loads and I click on Travel Check List to upload documents it directs me to a page that says "You do not have any journeys. Select link and Booking to add one." I fill out the form with booking # and then it states that "this booking # has been claimed". When working with Princess Chat and after an hour of trying different solutions to fix the problem they gave up and said someone would contact me. 3 weeks and nothing yet! The interesting thing is the app does recognize me and the cruise I've booked and it allows me to upload my credit card info. So clearly they made sure the app works when it's in their best interest but not the traveler. This is really BS for a company as large as Carnival to introduce an app that isn't fully tested and then not making their web based site to do the same tasks.

Both my spouse and i have problems with the medallion app freezing up (all the time). On 12/14/21 i spoke with one of your reps by the name of Jason who put me on hold while he went to speak with tec support. After 35 minutes on hold the tec person told me you don't need your phone anymore until you are on the ship. This isn't true because I have to update my health records 24 hours prior to boarding. She was able to get on and told me that I was in the green lane and I attempt to get on the site and was still unable to. I have been a loyal Princess customer but this has been a stressful process and will be my last Princess cruise

I have cruise to Australia and back booked plus world cruise and I can not get this Medallion app to work it will load but then every time I scroll the screen up it just jumps back to the beginning if I do get another screen up it just jumps back to the beginning. Then it will just jump completely back to log in it is grate to computerize every thing but if it dose not work all it does is drive people away. We are Élite members and are very disappointed with the going live of this app. I have waited for hrs. trying to get help i can get through to sales but they just send you to support which never answer the phone. Help One other comment Princess major voyages are made up, primarily of elderly people how do you expect them to navigate a system that is not ready to go live.

App freezes. Claims info not logged in but it is. Hard to sign in. Am a Platinum and booked whole family for more than 7 thousand and want to cry over this debacle. Have been on three Carnival cruises recently and their HUB makes this Medallion app look like trash. Very disappointed ans research indicates no great improvement. Poor customer retention tool We are embarrassed as we have been big seller of Princess. Sad Sad Sad

We had problems but Princess just don't want to know all the blame was put on us or the phone or the operating system. I don't want to rely on my phone. We will not cruise with Princess again till they have an alternative. Most stressful holiday we have had. Don't use Medallion.

I am having difficulty downloading the app on my phone. Why cant we just fill out the required information on the website like before? Cruise vacations used to be simplified and stress free. It seems like this medallion class has complicated the whole process of getting ready for your cruise. What are the benefits? I never had problems making dinner reservations before all of this nonsense. Now you have to order a drink through an app? Give me a break. If this is the new standard, I may have to consider other vacation options.

I have spent many many hours waiting on phone, speaking to at least 10 different agents, telling me a different problem exists in the medallion and none of there instructions worked. After many years of sailing on Princess cruises I am so stressed out with the very terrible service and my cruise embarks in 3 days (Oct 15, 2021). The agent today told me to forget the medallion, it wasn't worth spoiling my trip and they can solve the problem when I am on the ship. I wish they had told me on the first phone call that I didn't need to use the medallion any way. I will definitely advise every one I talk to of the terrible service they will get from Princess agents.

I am unable to make a dinner reservation in the Crown Grill for 6 on 11/23 on Ruby Princess. I have gotten thru the prompts, however, the confirm button is inactive and grey in color, not bright blue. I have tried many time slots. What is the problem??

The Medallionclass app is a nightmare. I booked with princess cruise to Alaska. Have spent hours on phone waiting for help. Because of Medallion app I will NEVER use Princess cruises as will advise everyone NOT to use Princess. I upgraded our cruise so we could not spend hours embarking. I was told if I didn’t use Medallionclass I would have to wait in long lines with people coughing and sneezing on me. I spent $2000 more and still can’t get on the site. My cruise begins on Sept 5 and still don’t have boarding pass.

Was this app ever tested?

The MedallionClass app is hands down the worst app I’ve used for any cruise lines I’ve traveled with (4 so far). The app hangs, throws blank screen, throws random errors and don’t try to use the <Back> navigation because you guess it, it’ll hang the app. It would not have been so maddening if they didn’t remove the options to check in via their website. I’m unable to finish the Travel Document stage nor select a departure group. When I make a dining reservation, the app shows a table for 4 on one screen but after I select it, it confirms I’ve booked a table for 2. I’m on the phone with Support now. The lady is very kind and helped me complete some steps the app keeps crashing on. But even she couldn’t book the departure group because that could only be done via the app. She contacted technical support right on the spot. Thankfully, they were able to book the departure group for me and fixed the underlying issues that prevented me from entering my passport info. The entire call (on hold + talking to support + technical support) took 1.5 hours. Net-net, Princess Cruise Line, you hired the right people to man your phone lines. Your technical support team seems effective but you must do better with your app. What I experienced does not reflect the good reputation you’ve built for your cruise line. I literally wished I had booked with another company. I sincerely hope I’ll have better result when I’m physically on your ship.

Lots of crashing, activities timeline is a massive battery drainer

I know a lot of cruise goers aren’t tech savvy and I can only imagine how much of a nightmare this app is for them, but as someone who’s very tech savvy it’s still difficult to use due to the constant freezing and crashing. After reading other recent reviews I’m happy that I at least was able to get my boarding information input successfully, but when I’m navigating through the app I frequently experience frozen loading windows that end up requiring closing and reopening the app, and whenever I go into the activities timeline my phone starts to heat up and my phone’s battery starts draining rapidly. I’m sure this is related to being on an older iPhone 8, but it’s on the latest iOS version and I’ve only experienced one other app that caused a similar issue, I’m fairly sure it’s the ship graphic that causes this and either removing that or at least giving an option to view a more basic version of the timeline would really help people using older phones. It’s pretty baffling to me that so much of the cruise experience is handled through an app that is as poorly designed as this one, Princess really needs to acknowledge and make improvements based on other recent reviews, not sure how they can expect people to keep booking cruises with them when they’re required to use this poorly designed app for so much of the process.

Worst App Ever (tried to) Use

This app is an absolute mess. We’ve used several cruising apps and this one is hands down the most frustrating. We can’t get past the initial page in order to upload our documents and complete the MANDATORY items. I was told by a Live Chat person that this is a “known issue” and we will need to be prepared to check in at the pier, the old fashioned way. Totally defeats the purpose of aiming for a smooth and safe embarkation. Common sense would be to allow passengers to check in on the website instead of a useless app that they don’t care to fix. BTW, we have newer Apple devices and we even tried it on an iPad. I made a call and spoke to a live person in technical support and she said she could see that our birthdates on the back end were off by one day, she tried to fix but it kept reverting back. She escalated me to another person, and all he could do was ask me if I had read the step-by-step instructions on all the things available on the app, and downplayed the issue by saying “well, it’s technology and there is nothing I can do.” We cruise quite a bit and this experience has definitely changed our view of Princess. The useless app and their lack of concern to fix it is ridiculous. If they know some people can’t use the app, why not offer access to do so on their website?
