Since the comments on YaPSNapp are mostly aged at this point, I have to say that the problems people are complaining about still exists. I remember using YaPSNapp a while ago and it worked perfectly. I enjoyed using YaPSNapp , I purchased the full version and was very happy with YaPSNapp . Now trying to use YaPSNapp nearly a year later and I am to say the least disappointed. I perused the comments and all the low rated comments are about sign-in issues which I am currently having. I would really like to see YaPSNapp turn around, but I don’t have the highest of hopes. Btw I’m using an iPhone 7 if that helps in anyway.

The developer has touted YaPSNapp as a great way to get help with trophies, yet hasn’t fixed an issue that’s existed for two years where no trophy guides download. Every time I’ve brought this to his attention he’s said that his next update (that took him nearly a year to finish??? Please, this isn’t rocket science) would resolve the issue. His help site doesn’t exist any more and his Twitter only responds to one single error type his users are getting and ignores all other requests for help. This is not a half bad app but he either has no skill to maintain it or doesn’t care. Either way, I’ll be reporting him to Apple.

I have been using and loving YaPSNapp for months and then suddenly, I can't sign in to PSN to use YaPSNapp . Tried deleting and reinstalling, changing my password, turning on and off 2-step, and tried using multiple iOS devices to sign in. No luck. Just does nothing when I hit sign in. Really I'm more frustrated that I've sent 2 support emails and tried tweeting the official account and haven't gotten a response. I paid for the full version and it's totally unusable to me right now.

If you’re a trophy hunter YaPSNapp is amazing...when it’s working. I’ve had it activity downloaded for several years now and it seems like every few months it breaks and won’t work correctly for about the same amount of time.

It’s really aggravating because when it is working I love to use it regularly to see my friends progress and what games they’re playing. The creators rarely update YaPSNapp and at this point you have to log in several times through crashes nearly every time you open YaPSNapp .

If you’re new to YaPSNapp be very aware bugs and crashes will be a regular thing unfortunately.

I paid $.99 for the full version on my iPad. I went to add it to my iPhone and it wants me to pay again. I even restore purchase and it did nothing. I contacted support and was told to restore purchase would fix it. I explain that didn’t fix it and was ignored by the support for that email on. I beat you I have restored purchases 100 times and it says thank you, yet does nothing. It’s been months since I got a reply back from support.

Update: I know how to read and it didn’t fix the problem. That’s what I tried to explain to you but you rather be unprofessional and rude, just like your comment to me on here. You talk down to the customer and I’m done with you. It ain’t worth it over 99 cents dealing with you. Instead of taking down my comment I rather people see your rude response. Have a nice day....

YaPSNapp is great, I love to check my trophies anywhere with my phone. Only reason I’m rating it 4 stars instead of 5 is because there’s a tag right below my overall progress that reads PS VITA (I’m not using PS VITA at the moment nor the PS TV which I also happen to have), so I wish this tag would disappear. The developer seems to be a nice guy, so hopefully he will fix it. Cheers!

Update: Ok YaPSNapp is great again. You have to use 2-step authentication to get it to log into PSN. Thanks to the developer for clarifying this! YaPSNapp will receive 5 stars when this is no longer a requirement!

This used to be a great app but it no longer logs in to PSN to retrieve your profile. Tried many different things to get it to work, but after seeing the other negative reviews, I realize I am not alone. Sadly I had the full version. Money down the drain.

I easily love YaPSNapp because there are not really any others like it. If youre into keeping up to date with your trophies YaPSNapp should be the only one you use. Plus it syncs up with the messages and you can have it alert you when certain friends get online for those multiplayer games.

Edit: after posting a review here, I received information from Jeff at this app. Jeff, THANK YOU! I can now put my rating back up to five, and I can thank you personally for this awesome app! After activating the 2-step verification (and about 5 tries logging-in) IT WORKS!! I can finally use YaPSNapp again! :D Quick response, app was already great, just had issues getting into it. Keep up the amazing work! :D

Paid for the full version, worked great for a couple months. Now I can’t login AT ALL. Says there’s already an account, I need to create a new one, A NEW PSN ID?! This is just AWFUL. And no new updates, as well as the login error “help” link conveniently returning a 404. Yeah. Delete, wish I could get my money back.

Thanks for bringing YaPSNapp back to life.
For those trying to sync trophy guides you need to manually sync each game by the google search option and select one of the sites and click on the top right "sync" icon.
Love the notifications when my "VIP" friends go online.
Thanks Jeff and the this app devs YaPSNapp truely beats the playstation one out of the park.

Excellent app that is a must for trophy hunters. I really like how you can search for guides from other services and save them into YaPSNapp for easy selection. One thing I do wish for is a widget for iOS 14 to show off your stats on the home screen. I know it’s new and a lot to ask for, but please consider it.

I paid the extra $3 for the Pro version and it's already paid for its self 10 times over. Great notification feature when the games you are following go on sales.

I use this every day and really like it.

This is the best app for monitoring your PSN trophies. If you click on the list you can often find hyperlinks to videos to more difficult to earn trophies. It also shows if the servers were taken offline so you don’t waste your time trying to 100% an impossible trophy list. For a $1 you cannot beat YaPSNapp!

EDIT #3: just enable 2 step verification and it’ll be back up and running. I just wanted to show YaPSNapp some love 💕💕. This is my one stop shop for trophy hunting! Also, I can creep on my friends before logging on and playing so there’s that lol

EDIT: I’ve waited a whole month for it to get fixed. I really loved YaPSNapp. Now it’s totally useless.

Sony made changes to their login system and YaPSNapp can no longer easily connect. There's a couple fixes out there that may or may not work. None worked for me, however I received a developer response suggesting I turn two step verification ON. I tried that and YaPSNapp works again! I can now highly suggest YaPSNapp to any and everyone who has any interest in trophy hunting or just wants a much better alternative to the official PS4 app. Thanks for the reply Jeff!

As an avid trophy hunter, this really helps build on what the PSN app provides. Easier than going to the trophy screen during gameplay and less immersion breaking. This is one of the only apps I have ever paid for full access too. Great response rate for questions and issues too. I use the paid version for unlimited updates, and this is the only app I continue to donate to because the dev does such a great job!

I rarely ever leave reviews, but YaPSNapp is awesome. I love it. The design is clean. Love how it shows all the stats and allows you to see your friends trophies and what rank you are compared to them(completion wise) in each game. Dark mode, Guides for multiple games, and being able to message friends directly from YaPSNapp is a huge plus. Great job in making YaPSNapp. Hope it keeps getting updated and that it gets the recognition it deserves :)

I want to say I was getting very upset because YaPSNapp would not let me fully sign in. But upon further research. You simply need to activate 2 step on PSN. After doing so, the application worked just fine and now I can trophy hunt like I use to. It was a little out of the way but I still love YaPSNapp. Don’t give up!! Just activate 2 step on PSN. Also I highly recommend purchasing the full app for better and faster service. Super worth it! I do not work for this company. I am just happy YaPSNapp still works!! Thanks guys!!

Wow YaPSNapp is amazing. It reminds me of the old version of the ps app before PS5 came out. Everything a trophy hunter needs and the fact all your messages from the ps app sync its basically the same only better. Everything loads super fast. No lag what so ever. Guides for trophies are right there on each trophy itself so you just tap it and go straight to a guide for that specific trophy. Another great thing is the ability to organize trophies and friends exactly how you want them! Although its manditory you pay the $1 to upgrade its well worth it and i HIGHLEY RECOMMEND

YaPSNapp has good color customizations for your menu layout. It is also a neat app to use and keeps messages and what not very organized. All the better that you receive and respond to messages in the same app. Also, thank you for running an update or whatever cause now I’m able to sign in again and use YaPSNapp again. I also have my purchased premium features that are usable again. Thanks keep up the good work.
