Keeps crashing — completely unusable

2022-06-07

Whenever I try to open Purdue , it crashes within two seconds. I tried restarting my phone and reinstalling Purdue , but nothing seemed to work. I’m on an iPhone SE with iOS 13.1.3.

Doesn’t work

2022-07-08

It crashes every time I try to open it. It’s been like this since August, no matter how many reinstallations and updates

App crashes when i start it

2022-08-09

Purdue crashes within seconds of starting it. I literally just press the icon, and then it crashes. It’s insane

Fails to remember sign-in

2022-09-10

Purdue fails to remember that I’ve signed in, and further it has a habit of crashing at random.

BoilerKey

2022-10-11

I can’t log in through boilerkey and none of the menus are popping up. I’ve tried re-downloading.

It was better before.

2022-11-12

The new update to Purdue makes it almost unusable. It freezes at random times and takes forever to load. While it does look nicer then it did before, it still needs to work.

Works as Expected

2022-12-13

Functions like most other services on campus, gets the job done and but is mediocre at best and makes you wonder why you’re paying so much for a meal plan. Tells you the menus but is consistently wrong for one or two items each meal. If you temper your expectations it isn’t too frustrating, nice to know what you’re getting yourself into at a court which is already more than you can say about freshman advising

App doesn’t work

2023-01-14

The first time I installed Purdue, it worked fine. I had to temporarily delete it and upon reinstalling Purdue, nothing works. None of the menus appear nor the dining hall/restaurant options. In addition, my location is constantly placed in some Chinese location in the middle of the ocean. I want to use Purdue, but I can’t due to these problems. I already did a systems reset which didn’t help.

New Update Causes it to not work

2023-02-15

I enjoyed Purdue but with the new update they released nothing works now. I can’t see anything other than a blank white screen and if I try and sign in it won’t keep me signed in.

Something is wrong

2023-03-16

After the update, Purdue doesn’t show the work times of the Campus Dinning restaurants.

Disappointed

2023-04-17

Constantly freezes, rendering it useless.

Decent

2023-05-18

It looks very nice. All it needs to be perfect is a way to favorite individual food.

Good start

2023-06-19

For a first try it's a good start. Not much different then the this app app, but does look much better.

Ideas for the next version:
- being able to favorite a food and being alerted by push notification when it's available
- being able to see calorie and nutrition content
-being able to see capacity of the dining court and how full it is

Bring the Vegetarian Icon Back

2023-07-20

The new design is much cleaner and easy to use in a rush but it could be better if the leaf icon that would appear next to vegetarian icons was brought back. Now it only appears after you click on the food item.

Crashes when signing in

2023-08-21

Crashes when signing in to view favorites, due to new duo-mobile two-factor identification. Would love a fix soon!

EDIT: Fixed in a timely manner.

Feedback

2023-09-22

I LOVE that you can read Chauncey menus now. This makes weekends so much easier to plan. Awesomeness!

Very Helpful

2023-10-23

Very well designed and intuitive. Perhaps add a way to track the length of the lines at each of the dining courts. Or business/fullness based on the card swipe system. Fyi, Purdue is more useful than the entire "makers all" campaign

Excellent app!

2023-11-24

Very informative with an intuitive interface. Needs to be more clear about vegetarian options.

Great app!

2023-12-25

Thanks a lot for the developers who made this perfect app to check the menus everyday! It's so much better and smarter than the menu in the this app app.

Convenient, Fast, and Easy

2024-01-26

Purdue makes it really easy to choose which dining court to eat at every day.
No unecessary extra clicks to view a menu unlike other this app apps.

I would suggest that they put a star next to the dining courts that are serving one of your favorite foods. This would make it even faster to choose where to eat that day.
