It kept disconnected

ntouch isn’t designed for everyday use. The company investing in vp devices more than mobile applications. Poor design and app are only vertical. It would be nice to have a horizontal design, after I hang up I’ll have to turn the phone vertically to type the number then turn it horizontally again. Also, the hang-up red button didn’t disappear after I type the number and click call. I have to touch my phone again to make it disappear. My self-view is too big. (iPhone 12 pro max) I have to hide my self-view and click on the screen to make buttons disappear before I can start my call. It's a hassle when someone calls me I have to do two more steps before I can start my call. It becomes annoying when you use the mobile app as the primary use.

My call keeps disconnecting when I use wifi or cellular. For no reason. It said searching for the internet. It happened 5 times during I was on the phone with a doctor! 😤 It happened on my iPad Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max. So frustrating!

PLUS!! Please fix myphone!! Its chaos! Sometimes I can’t accept calls on my iPad. as I accepted the call on iPad. It’ll say connecting while my phone keeps ringing. I end up having to use my phone and am not able to answer on my iPad.

Too frustrated!!!

My phone never rings most of the time when I get a call. Only when I miss it am I notified. I have to keep restarting and resetting ntouch and my phone most times just to make a phone call. It is soooo frustrating. Now the interpreter is always telling me that she can’t see me or it freezes!! I am soo moving to Purple to see if they are better. These issues really need to get fixed or just shut the whole company down

Let me say it again:

I gave this 1 star because you sold our numbers to the scammers (they are from Africa or somewhere) Did you know that? Oh, It’s why you deleted my previous review. Nice to know. Anyway, those scammers never stop calling me every day. So annoying. 1 star.

Glitches

Hello Sorenson,

Thank you for all you do and keep up the good work. Currently, I’m dealing with the glitches on this app VP mobile app. It froze several times when I dialed the number. I closed it out and reopened it. It worked fine, sometimes it froze again a few days later. Hopefully, this issue will be fixed as soon as possible. Thanks in advance.

Sorenson VRS need to focus on bigger Square to Square video type

I really think that Sorenson should focus on bigger square to square 1:1 type easy for customers to see clearly by own video to interpreter or anyone’s video. 16:9 video is bit small and hard to see. Sender video is too small too. Purple VRS own P3 Mobile has better square to square easy for customers to see clearly.

Fix

iPhone this app is so bad glitches no signs they keep closing in my face and every time I use ntouch it says sorry try again later or when I call it takes so long to connect to the phone signal then a video chat finally calls the person I need to call please fix for iPhone..!!

Interpreter never available

ntouch is completely inaccessible for Deaf people. Every time I need to make a call, I’m forced to wait endlessly, only for the call to disconnect before even reaching an interpreter, despite being in a strong service area. When that happens, I try calling again, only to face the same issue multiple times before finally giving up. On rare, lucky days, I actually manage to get an interpreter, but that shouldn’t be based on luck.

Even when I do connect to an interpreter, I’ve had interpreters correct my signing. Wait a minute, I am Deaf. If you understand what I’m saying, do not correct me. That is unprofessional and unnecessary.

Equal access is a right, not a privilege. Sorenson is failing to provide the reliable service that Deaf users are entitled to under the ADA.

Beyond ntouch ’s failures, the customer service experience is just as disappointing. Representatives harass and pressure users to commit to a single number, disregarding personal preferences. They start conversations without even checking if I’m available, continuing to push until they realize I’m not interested. There is no professionalism, no respect.

Because of these repeated issues, I am in the process of leaving Sorenson. If you are looking for a reliable VRS provider, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

Unbelievable

Some interpreter aren’t gonna go well with their sign language skill . Feel uncomfortable with their interpretation skill , and then some of interpreter whoever not correct do their business. Decided transfer to P3/ZVRS with the fone number and then check another sorenson fone number is miss what do I need to find number what I have. They don’t give me a call , resend reset fone number have been no found . Feel their business aren’t go gonna well. Then I m OUT. 🤪

Too many glitches

ntouch does not do wonders for me. When I do call, the interpreter’s picture is all blurring. And when someone do call me, I don’t get the ringing. I do not know they call until I get a notification many hours later. I do not want to transfer to a different company but if I have to, I will. And when I do go to my settings, it won’t let me in. Please fix this as soon as possible, otherwise Sorenson is no longer.

N-touch little problem system

I use N-touch app with iPhone many year since still so bad cuz sometimes call me not ring missing or ring few 3 sec then stop same time another tv Sorenson console still ring and, also iPhone and tv Sorenson console sync does not right still biggest BUG since never fix it so bad technology engineering.

What happens now not like before!

This hurt my business cause it keep crash and keep saying there no network. I have to reset my phone every time there any issues also bad inpter! Hang up on me if I drive or walk! I have no issues with convo which I’m about to transfer there soon. Use this as emergency. Good bye Sorenson!

Calling issue

When they calling me it automatically went to answer machine with one time ringing . I missed too many calls. I did everything to reset ntouch and it’s still doing the same thing. I gave up.

Good enough for now and interpreters are good

I mostly use sprint IP relay but it’s hard to keep track of all three numbers and I have a hard time communicating via TTY. I’m still learning ASL and so I type a lot still and it works for me. The only issue is, it doesn’t let me answer calls. I can make calls on my own, but it always says “call failed” if I try to take a call on my own.

Slow responses from the app.

Here to share my concerns about ntouch. The overall of the services are good. But right now, since past two weeks, I have noticed that ntouch is slacking off by giving off a slow response whenever I try to click on the features on the bottom of app (dial, missed calls, videos) and sometime I would get kicked out. I had to restart my smartphone once in awhile and that is what frustrates me. Please check it out and fix the area. Thank you.

VP & Ntouch Mobile

Mobile is ok but freeze, blur with the pixel during call.
Vp awesome but one thing I think vp need to add other feature "not disturb " since I m frustated with Vp issue also Svrs prefer if I leave vp connection on and not disconnect it, I d turn vp off. I prefer if vp have "no disturb" button on vp. It d be nice idea to add feature.

Logging out problems

The service is generally great! But I do have a couple of issues that could potentially be a major problem during an emergency.

I have ntouch on both my iPad and my iPhone.
I’ve noticed that sometimes I’m logged out of Sorenson. Yesterday, trying to log back in on my iPad, I ran into persistent “server down” messages. Thinking it might be my iPad, I went to my iPhone, and tried there. Same problem. So I waited a bit, and then was able to successfully log in on my iPhone. So I went to my iPad to log in there. But I noticed that my iPhone then automatically logged me out. After a few attempts to log in on both, I realized I could only be logged in on one at a time.

This is NOT safe for us in an emergency situation. If I need to quickly call 911, for example, I might not remember which mobile device I’m logged in on (or I might not have access to that device at the moment) and then I have to wait to log in, etc. which is potentially dangerous in an emergency.

Please consider fixing this.

Champ ntouch mobile!

I love those features on my mobile where I can click to xfer my call from this app mobile to vp and xfer to my friend when they need to talk to my other friend. I can simple to click transfer my call to other person. Also love the location where when I get lost or accident and I can click share location to the Interpter to send the tow man to come to the right place. Thank you Sorenson Communications !

Interpreters

They are doing their jobs. Sometimes the callers don’t realize the importance of each interpreters. Interpreters do the best signing or voicing. Sometimes it is the customer, who is or ISN’T aware of the interpreters’s jobs. Each customer has a different screen or keyboard or “whatever works”.
I like to explain to the operator, but I realize their jobs are different & don’t need to hear my “duh” explanations. Operators are awesome, helpful, do their best in communications, explaining, etc.
It pays to be very patient & helpful & learning about us callers with small or big mouths. Quack quack. Love to the OPERATORS.
