Good app. Great concept. I tried it first without the 99 cents a month fee and it works great. I paid for one month but nothing changed. The color scheme didn’t change when I clicked through the three options. It was just still grey and black. The reminder option didn’t work either and I don’t know if that’s because it put it in military time and I don’t use military time.
I’ll still keep PrayerMate and use it, but I cancel my subscription since nothing about PrayerMate changed.

I stumbled across PrayerMate recently and have been using it daily. I love the functionality and have been recommending it to friends that I see at church. It is a great free app. Things that could use improvement. The support website link returns an error page and there is no way to reach anyone with questions. I paid ~$11 for the ability to create prayer groups and that functionality seems a bit quirky. I do not see where to can remove a group from your lists when done, you get an error message when trying. I am unable to see member names, only spinning looking like it is attempting to load. I am not sure how this looks for someone else that I invited to my prayer group but will find out more about that experience soon.

I am not sure how many people subscribe to the group functionality but there is definitely room to spruce that up.

I’ve been using this app for several years and it’s a good tool to keep thoughts and prayers up-to-date. I really appreciated when they added the individual cards under prayer lists. The biggest flaw is the lack of relational database design. It would be ideal if there was a feature where you pulled up a specific date and had a list (or all the cards) that apply to that date. Or, when I have a friend who has several prayer requests, to have both specific categories for him/her and/ or general categories to assign prayers within a specific card.

For example, if I’m praying for John, I’d like to be able to pull into one spot all the prayer requests for his wife Jill. Or, if I’m praying for my Wednesday morning group, all the prayer requests for a specific date.

While there is a bit of a learning curve and takes some time to setup your lists, PrayerMate in a tech savvy world we live in has been a huge blessing to help organize and be more diligent in my prayer life. Only improvement I would recommend to developers is to have a way to use and sync to computer which would be much easier to setup and update lists on a computer. Overall a great app for those of us bad or unwilling to write prayer requests down to remember.

After my go to pray app stop being updated and finally left PrayerMate Store, I struggle finding a replacement. I bounced between apps trying to find all the same features I loved from my old prayer app. That all changed when I found Prayer mate. It was definitely the replacement I was looking for. It lets you choose categories, syncs between devices, icon for each prayer, you can add how long to pray for an item, and easy to use. Only feature missing is Face ID/Touch ID. If you want to improve your prayer life, but have trouble remembering everything you want to pray for look no further. Prayer Mate is your app.

I am currently living between two homes in two different states. That means a lot of travel and PrayerMate is perfect for me. I was carting around notecards and now I can keep it all in the cloud and it syncs seamlessly to all my devices. One thing it lacks - a way to note answered prayer. I used to make a note on my notecard of the date each prayer was answered and then file it in an answered prayer file, fun to look back on those. I would love to see that incorporated into PrayerMate soon.

I’ve been using PrayerMate for years now and it keeps getting better! It has opened the door to praying for more global areas of kingdom work. So easy for us to get settled in our little bubble and praying for just our own family health and issues. this app has helped me pray for specific people and groups around the world and keep a larger perspective on sharing the salvation through Christ Jesus.

PrayerMate helped me organize and execute my daily prayer time. I love that you can create different folders based on urgency and instruct PrayerMate to pray for items in that folder either every day, one item a day, or any number of items desired. From that point PrayerMate does the work. During your prayer time there is one request on screen at a time, helping you stay focused. When finished praying for that item, you just swipe left for the next.

I appreciate all the customizable features like adding pictures, writing your own prayers, or choosing from a variety of pre-written prayers and scripture based prayers. Also you can change the number of people, prayers, or causes you want o pray for each day and you can arrange and organize them to your liking. Kudos to the designer/developer of PrayerMate. Vert well thought out by someone who knows both their craft and how to pray. Thank you for using your gifts and talents for the kingdom.

I’m grateful a friend shared PrayerMate with me. It has helped me to be more intentional about praying. I appreciate the built in prayer lists and devotionals too. I’m using Paul Tripp’s Advent devotional right now as well as Scotty Smith’s daily prayer and they are both wonderful to read before I pray through my lists. My only criticism is that PrayerMate isn’t very user friendly. Some kind of tutorial would be helpful to show users how to set up the lists. I probably wouldn’t have used it if a friend hadn’t walked me through it.

It would be so nice to be able to keep a Bible/browser open on part of the screen alongside the this app App - please add this functionality.

I am so much enjoying PrayerMate - so good to keep prayer needs easily accessible and in front of me. I appreciate being able to add other ministries, and of course make my lists of people. I suppose there is talk about creating a prayer ‘log’ of previous prayers requests/answers to one can go back and review how faithful the Lord continues to be over the years...a new feature, perhaps?

Years ago, I was taught to use index cards to manage all my requests & intercessions for others. Over the last few years, I’ve been utilizing post-it notes. After using this tool not only am I finding all the features helpful (like reminders to pray several times a day), but also have been able to better my communication & prayers for groups I had a harder time accessing (like my diocese and world mission aid groups). Thank you again & know that I’m passing this on to others aw well!

I cannot say enough good things about PrayerMate! Having a place to organize, change as needed and add new prayer requests is invaluable! I don’t waste time trying to remember those I’ve promised to pray for along with Godly leadership throughout the world and all the many things Christ has told us to ask for ( and I don’t mean the name it and claim it heresy). It is so amazing that not only would the Creator of everything that exists send His beloved Son to rescue us but even desires to hear from us constantly. Our God is an awesome God! I’ve been using PrayerMate for several years and really love it. I can open it any time and begin to work on my long prayer list. When someone asks me to pray for them, I just add them to the list. My list has ebbed and flowed over the years and this app keeps me on track. Love that you can add pictures and specific prayer cards, select how many of your list items to pray for, mix up the sorting. And the extra feeds are wonderful — especially the ones for Lent and Advent. PrayerMate is a wonderful tool that I have recommended to many people!

I don’t typically write reviews, but I and genuinely impressed with PrayerMate. I’ve looked for years to find a prayer app that allows the functionality that this one does. Over time I have tried about everything in PrayerMate Store and have always reverted to using the stock Reminders app to keep track of my prayer lists. I gave this another shot recently and pleasantly surprised with the changes since I last tried it out. A great app, and highly recommended. More people need to find out about this!

I really like PrayerMate - it helps me to keep track of all my prayer requests to make sure I pray for them each week. It’s easy to categorize into groups and add/delete subjects/prayer requests as needed.

I don’t know if I’m missing it but is there a way to only pray for what you put for a certain day of the week? For a prayer session you can pick the number of subjects you pray for but that varies depending on the day. I would like to pray for just Thursday on Thursday, etc without having to preselect that I’m praying for “20 things” or whatever the number…

Thank you developers for a tool which I have come to depend upon. Overwhelming is how I often described prayer and that caused me to neglect prayer and be superficial more often than not. After a bit of a learning curve on what works best for me within this app, I am released from the feelings of being overwhelmed. I now sincerely look forward to what is on my Prayer List for today & can let go of the guilt that followed me before. I rest assured that each person and/or request God has placed upon my heart is written down & will come up on the Prayer List in due time. I am grateful for this powerful tool!

Using this app has helped me not to forget any prayers each day. As a Pastor, many people ask me to pray for them or a need and I add them to the program right then. It has statistics that I can look at to tell me when I started praying for each need or item, how many times I have prayed for each, and allows me to move an item from the prayer category (like Health) to Praise when the need has been met or resolved by Jesus. I have used this program for many years and have contributed to it each year because it is so helpful to me as a Pastor.

This year I am after all these years of being saved, in a position where I must pray for my church, for my family and myself. I’m thrust into leadership, and I have felt so in adequate up that point. But I have found so much more joy in prayer this year than in all the years of my salvation. I am grateful to this app because it helps me focus. Early in the morning or late at night, my mind is very busy with all types of thoughts. Using this app helps me to block out all those things. Prayer is not a task for me anymore. Prayer is necessary, my joy, my power, my battle. I’m hurting the devil, and I intend to do as much damage as possible until the end.

Kudos to Andy for developing this prayer app. I don’t do that well with lists and notebooks, post-it notes and napkins. When it comes to keeping a prayer journal, what better place to have it than on your phone or tablet?!! I know I am not called to preach etc, but - one thing I can do is pray for my family, friends, issues I feel prompted to pray about etc. I have used this for a few days now and love it!!
Plan on using it for the rest of my days.
